We had a wonderful stay at the Schakel villa. It had everything we needed and although we were unfortunately pretty cold most of the time, it just felt good to be in this wonderful vacation home and to be able to look directly at the water from the living room. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and small beach walks made the stay perfect. We would have liked to try the sauna and the boats, but unfortunately we were too sick for that. Everything was in top condition and very well described. The communication went smoothly and the house is very lovingly decorated. Thanks so much!

We felt very comfortable from the first moment. You can tell that Isabel has put a lot of love into the house and it really is a "home." Check-in was straightforward, communication friendly and in the house more than everything necessary to find and allowed to use - which makes the stay even more relaxing. The welcome greeting - basket of goodies - was really delightful. Especially with children, the child-friendly, clean and cozy house in this quiet neighborhood is perfect. Nice cottage in a pleasant quiet place and well located to visit the whole island. And very nice that our dog was welcome.

enjoy one of the most beautiful places you can imagine. Location is close to west and you'll walk right into the woods. Very spacious plot and beautiful farmhouse. It is indeed all a bit low but with a little attention it will be fine. Glad the owners want to share this beautiful place with others

We were allowed to stay in Lida's house over the Easter weekend. On Thursday, we were warmly welcomed by her husband and had everything important explained to us. The place has everything important and is very lovingly and charmingly furnished. We felt very comfortable. Thanks again to Lida and Cor, it was a pleasure!

It was a very nice stay. The townhouse is very nicely decorated and everything is well maintained and clean. Harlingen is a very nice town with many restaurants, bars and nice little shops that invite you to stroll. The harbor is very nice too.

Lovely little cottage right on the water. The house is exactly as described, perfectly clean and well maintained. The location is fantastic, right on the water but also with a small pool that our children delighted in. A fun canoe and boat to take a tour around the surrounding waters. Highly recommend for a peaceful few days with children.

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the cottage the perfect base to explore Texel. The cottage has all the comforts and has a cozy sitting area, and well-equipped kitchen. The park is wonderfully quiet (already in this time of year) and the location of this specific cottage is beautiful. Thanks, we had a great weekend!

Clean, cozy place perfect for a family of 4. Friendly and very helpful host. The included e-bikes are fast and make touring the island by bike easy! Insect screens on every window were very welcome. Kitchen with 3 different coffee makers, toaster, many other appliances we didn’t need.

All as advertised , great hosts we will use again when in the area . Would recommend for buisiness or Leisure.

Yes, the furniture in the accommodation is a bit outdated, but it was all clean and tidy. It didn't smell like smoke and it wasn't musty. It's just a vacation home. The wifi ran smoothly, the kitchen was very well equipped. There were even spices and coffee. The location of the accommodation was also great. Quiet but still easy to reach everything there on foot. Birgit was available all the time and very friendly and helpful. I'm sure we'll be back.

Lovely house , nice location

We had a wonderful week at this villa. We were a group of 8 people (4 adults and 4 children). The villa has all the comforts and the location is fantastic. Landal's playground is within walking distance. The beach (pole 28) is a 5-minute drive away and there are beautiful hiking (running) routes nearby. The other villa (the Bosuil) is on the same property, but you won't know. We will definitely come back!

Very clean and well decorated house, placed in a beautiful corner of the island. It has a full working kitchen, a great garden with a great view, and nice relaxing living room space. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway.

It was a very nice stay - peace and relaxation is on Texel program! The place was very clean, modernly equipped and just like in the pictures! Giant meadow and piece of forest opposite the terrace - even if the holiday parks on the island certainly offer more - we just enjoyed the peace and the extensive property, as well as the "solitude" very much. ❤️ Thanks also to the uncomplicated assistance - we were able to check in later than planned due to various circumstances - this was very hospitable and uncomplicated! I'm sure we'll be back!

All in all great place to stay! However, a few things were missing: - shower gel and shampoo - Dish soap - Coffee filter - Salt/pepper or an oil And in the end you had to strip the beds and bring everything with towels into the hallway. For the price, I would think this is included in the cleaning fee. At least I don't know this from other apartments. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay 😊

Small "house" nicer in real life than in photos. We were pleasantly surprised. Nothing to say about the accommodation. Everything is new.

It was a quick search for the location where the key to the stay could be picked up. Check-in went smoothly and instructions were clear. The stay was not far from there. The cottage fully met our expectations: it is spacious, clean, comfortable and felt very cozy due to the pleasant atmosphere. We usually book a slightly more spacious holiday home, because we sometimes find it a bit cramped for the number of people for whom it is intended. That's not the case here. This stay was perfect for 6. Very nice that each couple had their own bathroom at their disposal. Spacious kitchen, with all the comforts. Furthermore, we were able to walk from the house in the area with our dog. Thank you for the lovely stay. We would love to come back!
