Hillside's Rest Nest

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

Our wonderful holiday property "Dabas Mājas" ("Nature Home") is the ideal place for your family's dream retreat. Only 90-minute drive away from Riga, the house is located in an idyllic and green area overlooking water. It's the perfect spot if you want to take a break from the everyday city busyness. Essentially it’s Latvian Bathhouse with beautiful view to share with your close ones. If you want to you will have chance to experience traditional sauna (additional + 60 EUR, there is also outside hot tub available + 60 EUR and take a fresh swim in a clear pond next to bathhouse. Surrounding has view of a larger lake and if you like even take a boat ride or do fishing. Host house is 80 meters away, so you will be able to have your privacy. Experience Latvia!

There are also rocky Goat rapids and Feeling Park nearby, which are popular walking/relaxing spots. The grocery store is 3 min walk, as well as there is a parking lot for parking near the house itself. The building also has a backyard and garden with a canopy and a fire pit that can be used to coordinate with hosts.
