Vacation rentals in Vänern

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

What a location!! Perfect hideaway for the most relaxing time, away from everyone and everything. We absolutely loved our stay. The panoramic sauna & enormous jacuzzi were a dream. We love cooking & the kitchen had everything we needed, wíth the most amazing views on the lake. As a music lover it was very nice to find high quality Sonos speakers throughout the house. Daniel answered every question we had immediately. And his father welcomed us very kindly. Great place to stay!

the host is very kind, was always available, very friendly, the house was in perfect state, everything worked as it should. The place is perfect for a calm and relaxing holiday.

Huset var stort, med to deilig store bad og gode senger/madrasser. Kjøkkenet var velutstyrt, og med med god peis. Huset ligger med vakker utsikt over et vann, og man ser en gammel kirke i enden av vannet. Herlig vakker, fredfylt og harmonisk utsikt. Fine turmuligheter i skogen rett på den andre siden av veien. Veldig fin liten tur gjennom skogen med irrgrønn mose, og nydelig utsikt over vann, skog og himmel på toppen. Hadde vi hatt mer tid skulle vi ha gått mer langs ev. rundt vannet og sett på de søte Svenske stuene og gårdene rundt vannet. Tusen takk for god oppfølging fra verten og at hun deler dette fantastiske stedet med oss! Vi kommer gjerne igjen

Välplanerad och jättemysig stuga i närheten av sjön. Trädgården hade gott om plats för aktiviteter för barnen. Henrik var mycket lättillgänglig när vi hade frågor om vägbeskrivning och annat. Vi var där över en helg men hade gärna stannat längre!

We had an exceptional experience staying with Mario's place, who is a super host! He was quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay. We spent 1 night and 2 days in the camper, and it was amazing. The view from the camper is really good, providing a beautiful backdrop for our stay. Mario provided full instructions about the camper and was always available if we needed anything. We enjoyed a BBQ on the upper deck, which offered an incredible view. He even allowed us an early check-in, making our arrival smooth and convenient. The jacuzzi was a nice touch and very relaxing. It’s a great place for families too. My daughter loved playing on the trampoline and in the separate kids' playhouse. She had a fantastic time! Overall, our experience was exceptional. We are definitely coming again!

Tobias and Clara have created a peaceful and packed with utilities cabin in a quiet place surrounded by lovely nature, where you can easily spot wildlife from time to time and enjoy a beautiful starry sky:). This combined with them being kind people that really respect your privacy and time helped us a lot with recharging for the rest of our journey. If you want a place to relax and recharge I really recommend going here:).

Mein Sohn war mit seinen Freunden für ein paar Tage in der Unterkunft. Es ist sehr idyllisch gelegen. Besonders toll war, dass ein Boot vorhanden war, sodass man auf dem See angeln konnte. Insgesamt waren alle sehr zufrieden. Vielen Dank an Annalena, die alles so gut organisiert hat.
