Highly recommend this cottage stay. Peter was extremely friendly and welcoming. The house was equipped with everything needed for a short stay. Beautiful view of the mountains and the wild life walking around and visits from the horses and Zebra was very special. Highly recommend.

We unfortunately did not manage to get to Audrey's place due to heavy snowfall. But our experience of Audrey as a host was exceptional. Her communication was brilliant, she was very helpful and understanding of our situation. We have rescheduled our trip and look forward to our stay

A little hard to locate with the driveway overgrown and the sign was not visible so really difficult to find specially at night. The host was extremely helpful and drove out to find us and take us in. The location was simply amazing, peaceful and I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Mooi River.

Had a wonderful stay, and really enjoyed sitting in front of the roaring fireplace soaking up the magnificent view of the Drakensberg.

Hilda was so friendly and nice. We felt quite at home.

My family and I spent Christmas at Oakvlei Farm and we absolutely loved it! The house was perfect in every way. We were amazed by how friendly and responsive Carol and her team were during our stay as they never hesitated to assist us. I have to condone her for the extremely comfy beds and quality linen on the beds. We were able to bring our two little dogs in which they were able to run around the whole day, seeing as the big garden is completely closed off. If you are looking for a peaceful and spacious retreat with friends or family, I highly recommend Carol's place.

Poppet is very friendly, very helpful. Her staff is brilliant, they went above and beyond what we needed and did not hesitate to assist. The house is beautiful internally as well as the surrounding landscape. We had booked for one night but extended our stay an extra night due to how lovely an experience it was.

We had the most outstanding and memorable stay. Sue kept the comms flowing and was an amazing host. The house felt like home away from home, with scenic 360 views. We will definitely be back.

This was an outstanding family holiday venue. There was plenty for the kids to do; rowing, walks around the farm, a visit to the dairy, jumping on the trampoline. The house interior is a collectors dream exquisitely declared with antiques yet it has a welcoming homely feel. The main bedroom has an ensuit bathroom with a fireplace...gorgeous! The indoor pizza oven was an awesomeness experience. Sli is such a gracious lady who helped with the dishes and cleaning. we lacked for nothing. Family holiday dream come true. Thank you.

This place is exquisite. Very peaceful farm house with all the bells and whistle. Very spacious for large families. Lots of animals around the farm. Very peaceful calming countryside sounds to wake up to in the morning. Beauty and Mary were very helpful and friendly. Roads to get to this place was not bad. Few bad potholes right at the beginning of the bridge. Doable with a car. Sandra was friendly, accommodating and very responsive to messages.

Had a great, relaxing stay. Unbelievable views. Michelle and Brendon were extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Oh what a beautiful & peaceful place to be in. The pictures honestly do not do justice, it’s much more beautiful in person with gorgeous surroundings and the rooms are huge. The restaurant, playground and horse riding being in the same estate are a cherry on top. My family and I will definitely be coming back.

Robyn is the most friendly and responsive host I have dealt with. The property is amazing and wonderfully private. Great open areas for the kids to play and a game of Rugby was awesome on the lawn. We enjoyed the friendly horses and beautiful cows and the kids loved the chicken coop. The house was amazing loads of areas to braai with a large wrap around veranda and a fantastic pizza oven. All bedrooms look onto the mountain and were a good size. Huge kitchen and lovely herb garden. Royce the farm manager was lovely and helpful. The games room was a win. Kirsten the farm manager as even posted back a few items my teenager left behind - such amazing hassle free service. Thank you were had an amazing stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and fresh on arrival. We appreciated the daily cleaning and Sylvia was extremely helpful. The position of the property was private but also gave easy access to the pool and tennis courts. We really enjoyed the amazing views. We also enjoyed the location as we could walk and enjoy the surrounding area. We will definitely return to this gem!

We had an unforgettable stay at Lake Zonk in the breathtaking Drakensberg mountains. Nestled right on the lake’s edge, the views were absolutely stunning – especially during sunrise and sunset, with the crisp air and golden light ushering in the winter season. The accommodation was spot-on for a mountain retreat – cozy, warm, and thoughtfully equipped with plenty of blankets and heaters to keep us snug. The fireplace, both inside and outside, added that extra touch of magic and made evenings feel truly special. One small frustration was the number of flies around – likely due to the season – so next time we’ll come prepared with something to keep them at bay. Still, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting to unwind in nature with unbeatable views and homely comfort. We’ll definitely be back!

What a treat! Incredible location with amazing views. Can go for lovely walks on the Estate. Communication was great, check-in and check-out was straight forward. House exactly matches the description. Spacious, well equipped. Access to a communal swimming pool. Look forward to returning!

What a stunning spot offering beautiful gardens, world class views, comfortable facilities and it is very well located. The birdlife is tremendous including a display from a pair of Ground Hornbills.

Hospitality from the heart at Sasi! From the moment we arrived till when we left; everything was just awesome. Stunning views, peaceful and quiet. Service with a smile from absolutely everyone at Sasi. The food was awesome! Charl, Wendy and the team were tops. Would highly recommend if you just want to relax and get away from the rat race...

Colleens place was awesome, exactly like the pictures. The Cottage had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. We will definitely be back.
