Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Urubamba Province

I agree with the other reviewers—the photos don’t do justice to how truly stunning this place is. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. The garden is a little paradise, with hummingbirds and other wildlife visiting daily. It’s just a short walk to mototaxis that can take you into town. The local people are incredibly kind and generous, always ready to help. Fabiola was warm, welcoming, and always available to answer questions or offer suggestions. I can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely magical place. The trot to get to and from the villa was an adventure within itself. We will remember those views forever. Ariana, thank you and the workers for all of your help!

what an amazing home in an absolutely peaceful town. yucay is now one of my favorite spots. its so refreshing being in a community where everyone is friendly, welcoming, and deeply connected to their agricultural history. sofi's house immediately feels like home, and adjusting to the pace in yucay happened almost instantly. great climate. great backyard to walk barefoot in the grass. awesome spot for a campfire. def a must stay.

El lugar nos encantó, super limpio ordenado, tenía todo lo necesario y más. El acceso es un poco complicado sino conoces el lugar pero la ayuda del encargado fue buena. Vistas maravillosas y el ambiente simplemente mágico.

This is a review for the hosts rather than the place, since our circumstances changed and we weren’t able to even stay at the house. However, the hosts were incredibly helpful and I am SO thankful for them and all their help! Our flight from Lima to Cusco was cancelled and we got on a flight for the next morning, so we weren’t able to check into the Airbnb at all, but we were still headed to Ollantaytambo. When we messaged them and communicated our situation, they advised us that they had another property in the area and that we could settle there for the rest of the day. This was a life saver. It gave a place to store our things, and more importantly, rest and relax after a stressful day. Flor at reception was so helpful - she picked us up from the main plaza and walked us to the property, and then got us all set up for the day. So, although we didn’t stay at this property, I’m sure it’s amazing, just as the hosts were.

Really nice place, there’s a large yard with a grassed area to hang out, the restaurant they have there is really good, and they are very nice and welcoming. It’s located close to everything and about a 10-15 minute walk to get anywhere. Definitely recommend staying here :)

El hospedaje de Mark se encuentra en pleno corazón del Valle Sagrado, a unos metros del museo Inkariy. Sí bien está en la misma carretera, el lugar es tranquilo y muy acogedor. Las camas son cómodas y se encuentra todo lo necesario para una estadía placentera. La habitación tiene un pequeño balcón con una hermosa vista. Mark respondió a mis consultas y, las personas que nos acogieron fueron muy amables.

Johuel is a wonderful host. He was very responsive with everything we needed. He even changed our towels and sheets during our one-week stay, which I found very thoughtful and impressively clean. He also let us store our bags for an afternoon after we checked out. One important thing to know is that the apartment is not soundproof; it’s in a complex where you can consistently hear other residents in their living spaces and showers. It was not a huge problem for us, but it was unexpected. Generally, the apartment was perfect, and I was very impressed by how clean and well-prepared it was. The shower was very hot and all cooking necessities were provided. Right behind the apartment is a beautiful trail through farmland up to the mountains. We suggest this home for people coming to explore the Sacred Valley. It is VERY easy to get to and from Urubamba and every town in the Sacred Valley. We would definitely stay here again! I had a great time at Raices. It’s a 10/10 from me. The main reason I was there was for a retreat but I stayed for a couple of days prior to that starting and for a week afterwards. Harold has built an amazingly beautiful place in the heart of Sacred Valley. If you want to relax and unwind then this is the place to do it. It’s incredibly tranquil. He and his staff are also extremely attentive and helpful which adds to the overall vibe of the place. I’m already tentatively planning on returning in September.

I had an amazing stay! The place was spotlessly clean, exactly as described in the listing, and exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail and accuracy in the listing made me feel confident in my choice. Everything was well-maintained, and the space was comfortable and inviting. Such an incredible place and location. Ada is an incredible host and made sure I felt right at home the entire stay. I spent 5 weeks here and enjoyed every moment of the place, the rooftop terrace / views, and surrounding area. Very peaceful and quiet. Central to all the amazing places in the Sacred Valley. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to fully immerse in this beautiful part of the world.

We loved our time in Urubamba! The Airbnb was cozy, comfortable, and clean. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It’s well located in the Sacred Valley, making it a great base for nearby sites. Self check-in was smooth and easy, and the host was very proactive and flexible throughout our stay, which we really appreciated! :) Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Fue muy amable, super hospitalaria desde que nos dio la bienvenida hasta que nos despidió. Siempre respondió a nuestras inquietudes y solicitudes con rapidez. El lugar muy acogedor y tranquilo. Camas cómodas y con bastantes frazadas para el frío. El lugar estaba frente a una pequeña plaza, linda vista. Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme ahí. Gracias Cintya, muchos éxitos.

I don’t think you will find a nicer place in Urubamba. The decor was beautiful, it had hot water and everything you need for a perfect stay. The host was helpful and left a manual with local suggestions. You are right in the middle of everything- stores, markets and restaurants. I highly recommend. One caution though - I am a 5’10, plus size woman (size 16) and i just fit in the bathroom. The opening for the shower is about 12 inches. if you are a bigger person, be warned. Otherwise, this is 100% the place for you.

Beautiful apartment and a great host! Location was ideal and safe. Would definitely use this apartment the next time we visit Urubamba.
