Stunning period Farmhouse in rural setting

VilianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an amazing stay in this amazing condition 17th century house. It had all the amenities we needed, the fireplace was set up for us and Jennifer was responsive and super friendly when I asked for additional information such as the what3words address of the house. Highly recommended with beautiful surroundings and a short drive from many great locations in the area.

Old Fishermans Cottage

JoanneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had such a lovely stay. The cottage is cosy and comfy. It was a much needed space for a long weekend of R&R. Loved being so close to the coastal path for long dog walks, and having the lovely garden and/or squishy sofa to come back to for lazy afternoons. The area is beautiful and it was very easy to switch off. The goodies left by Linda were such a lovely touch. Linda was a fab host - there were some works going on near the house and she went out of her way to ensure we were aware of the situation and kept updated before our stay, as well as being flexible about our stay length, in case it was too noisy. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and easy. Thank you!

Peaceful 3 Bedroom Cottage in the Welsh Hills

RogerRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had beautiful weather for our stay, so I confess we spent more time outdoors than in the house, but it truly is a lovely, peaceful spot (apart from the occasional frenzy of our working cocker spaniel who was triggered by the pheasants)! For balance, I should point out that other weathers are available. Thank you, Lizzie and Simon.

Modern 2 bedroom house on the Foryd estuary

LindaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house is in a beautiful location, overlooking the bay. It was particularly lovely when the tide came in, bringing with it numerous species of birds, including fourteen swans. This is the perfect place if you are a birdwatcher (there is a hide about half a mile up the road, too). The house itself was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. It was a perfect location with easy access to Anglesey, Snowdonia, and the Llyn Peninsula.

Perfect for a Family Gathering and Otter Spotting!

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
An absolute favourite place to be. Mountains, estuary, seaside, walks, bike rides. Looking out over the estuary we feel like the only people there, away from the roads. Peaceful, in fact idyllic is not an exaggeration. A great place to make family memories. We had perfect blue skies and so clear at night we could see every star in the sky 😊

Cosy townhouse with private parking and log burner

AllannaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The little cottage was absolutely beautiful and great to have private parking too! We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing time, the little village has shops that are only a couple of minutes away and also some restaurants/pubs too. Rebecca was brilliant at replying and also made sure to ask about how our stay was going which I felt was very nice and friendly. Would definitely stay here again 100%.

Swyn-y-Mor Barmouth, two mins sea, Pets, Hot tub.

PhilRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great stay from the get go with Sam checking in with us that we had arrived safely and that everything was as expected, which it was. The downstairs rooms were airy and light with plenty of comfy furniture; the kitchen, not that we used it much, was large clean and really well equipped. The bedrooms were excellent with quality bedding and as with the bathroom, spotlessly clean. The rear outside space is a good size with a table and bench seating and is safe and secure, our little dog was very happy out there. We didn't get to use the hot tub but it was very well maintained, clean and ready to go if we wanted it. Parking outside the property is straightforward and the house location is a very short step to the lovely promenade for a then leisurely 10 to 15 minute stroll to the shops, bars, restaurants and harbour. We definitely recommend Sam's place if you're looking to stay in Barmouth and we'll certainly stay there again when we return. Thanks Sam šŸ‘

We loved our short break at Jane’s lodge. The instructions were on time and to the point. Lovely welcome pack and Prosecco on arrival. Was a little worried as I’m allergic to animal fur and the lodge is pet friendly. However the place was clean throughout and the bed one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Loved the bath and Bluetooth mirror. Hot tub was fantastic and a lovely balcony. The kids also enjoyed the pool on the site. Could have a stopped the week tbh ha ha. Will definitely look to stay again in future.

2a Cambrian Street

NickRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I spent a week in this bright, clean cottage. The location was perfect—an easy walk to shops and restaurants—and although street parking is limited to 1 hour, free spots are nearby. The entry door is low, so anyone over four feet tall will need to duck, but once inside the interior is open and welcoming. The kitchen was great: we used the cooktop and oven, and the refrigerator, while small, held enough for a week’s worth of groceries. The only downside was the knife block - each knife was so blunt that slicing tomatoes or carving meat was difficult. In the living area we found comfortable seating for two, but no table for meals. We ended up using plates on our laps while on the sofa. Supplying a folding table or trays would solve this easily. The firm bed was comfortable, but the room door does take a bit of space. A sliding barn door could work better. The en-suite is modern, but clean and functional. We really loved this cottage and would choose to stay here again. 5 stars!

Hud y Machlud. Stunning views farm stay Rhoslefain

AmyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Sarah is a fantastic host so welcoming and friendly, she gave us clear instructions for how to get to the caravan and information is provided to help us during our stay. Thank you for the lovely treats provided on arrival, such a kind gesture. The caravan is very well equipped, with everything you may need and more. Sarah has really thought of everything and made it a lovely cosy place to stay, it really feels like a home away from home. We enjoyed waking up in the morning watching the horses and goats chase around in the field. The caravan has beautiful views, a brilliant place to sit and watch the sunset and the stars at night. It was such a clear night for us that the starry sky was amazing to see. It is in such a peaceful location, the caravan is set away from the main house so it feels private and comfortable but with the knowledge that if you do need anything Sarah is around to help. A great stay will be back. Thanks again :)

We were looking for a restful place for the long weekend with our two children. The Uchaf Cottage was serene and full of light. You can see the rolling hills and the curious cows come to greet you. You wake up to the peaceful bleating of sheep! The surroundings are gorgeous and you can easily go beach hopping or drive up to the mountains. Alex and Wayne are super friendly and kind hosts. Absolutely perfect experience.

Luxury Snowdonia Cottage With Stunning Lake Views

SophieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay at Simon’s beautiful cottage. The bed was really comfy and there was no external noise (apart from the sheep!). It was such a peaceful few days and perfect for us with our 7 month old daughter and dog. The cottage is set on the hillside with stunning panoramic views. The garden is fenced all the way round and there’s a perfectly placed bench to watch the sunset. The interior was kitted out to a high standard and had all the basics you would need. Simon was very friendly and offered some great local recommendations. We will definitely be back one day to visit again - thank you!

This place was fantastic. Exactly what the doctor ordered, stunning location, stunning weather, beach on your door step with all your local amenities, shops, takeaways etc. hannah and Dean described it perfectly, theor alpaca farm was amazing. unfortunately, for us, they were fully booked on the farm walks but that's our fault for not checking. the cabin was clean, and tidy with all the mod cons, WiFi, heating, lovely shower, great decking and barbecue area. very dog friendly with their dog park. I would 100% recommend this place and we will be back to try their farm house and cabin with the rest of the family. thank you for having us.
