Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Tortuguero

De ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk en duidelijk. De service was echt heel goed met zeer vriendelijke en snelle communicatie. We mochten ook eens laarzen gebruiken voor een wandeltocht en ze kwamen ons melden en mee nemen op het moment dat er een luiaard vlakbij was. Nogmaals bedankt voor alles! 👍

Allan's home was a perfect place for us to stay while in Tortuguero. He was a very responsive host and the location was great. Nothing is far in Tortuguero. Clean and comfortable with a fully shaded patio which was SO welcomed during the heat of the day. Would book again for any future trip.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect for our trip, and we felt very welcomed throughout our stay. The pool was not usable at all Would definitely recommend and love to come back again!

Michael is very responsive. The property is very convenient and close to downtown. Lots of restaurants, stores.. The Air conditioning worked great and is a plus in this humid area. I loved the place and look forward to staying again the next time.

Mir wurde auf dem Weg von San José mein Rucksack im Bus geklaut. Janette hat mir sehr dabei geholfen mich zurecht zu finden und hat sehr viel Verständnis gehabt, weil ich am nächsten Tag direkt wieder los musste deswegen. Ich habe sogar mein Geld zurückgekriegt und nur für die eine Nacht gezahlt. Am Abend als ich ankam haben Janette und ihre Familie mir sogar ein Abendessen gekocht. Wenn ich das nächste mal nach Tortuguero gehe, dann gerne wieder bei Janette. Dieses mal passe ich aber besser auf meinen Rucksack auf :)

Heidy's place is a perfectly located, cosy spot from which to explore Tortuguero, relax and go to the beach. Less than five minutes walk to centre of town and boat drop off and pick up place, at one end of the street and beach at the other. It is also very quiet and private, we enjoyed using the patio for quiet meals or drinks. The beach is beautiful and their was a sloth one night in a coconut tree on the beach. Heidy had arranged for us to be met when we stepped off the boat and a local guide showed us to the flat. Heidy was always super responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. Please note there is no air-conditioning or hot water in the shower, but that didn't bother us, the fan kept us cool at night. I would love to come back to Tortuguero and hope to stay at Heidy's again.

El lugar es tan cual se describe, solo que ya no tienen disponible el espacio de pesca, por lo demás todo es como se ve en las fotos, el lugar es privado, estaba organizado y limpio. Él anfitrión es muy amable y atento a lo que uno necesite.

Excelente lugar, muchas cosas para hacer en la propiedad, tiene varios arboles frutales, piscina y varios juegos. Casa muy amplia y con todas las comodidades.

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Patricia et Pablo ! Ils sont adorables ! Nous recherchions un hébergement sur notre trajet pour nous rendre à La Pavona et cette escale était très bien. Le logement était impeccable, tout était très propre. Le linge de lit et les serviettes de bain sentaient bon ! Huuummm ! Nous hôtes ont été aux petits soins ! Merci pour tout !

Séjour d’une nuit incroyable chez Kevin David et Muriela . Nous sommes arrivés à 15h et ils ont pris le temps de nous faire visiter leur propriété. Nous avions réservé le dîner et le petit déjeuner et ces instants de partage resteront gravés dans notre mémoire. Ils ont été accueillant, et ont tout fait pour que l’on se sente comme chez nous. Voir les paresseux en se levant a été un moment magique . Quand au logement, la cabane est bien équipée, nous avons dormi comme des bébés. Quelle belle surprise sur notre parcours , à Max 35 minutes de la navette pour Tortuguero. Kevin David et muriela si vous passez vers chez nous, nous serions ravis de vous accueillir . Pura vida ❤️

Le logement de Rodrigo est très correct, bien placé dans le village avec une belle vue de la cuisine et la terrasse, mais pas de la chambre qui n’a pas de fenêtre. Ce qui a été désagréable c’est qu’en fait je ne communiquais pas avec lui mais avec une personne qu’il a délégué et qui n’était là que pour me vendre des activités et poussait à la consommation sans tenir compte du temps de tranquillité que je souhaitais passer à Tortuguero. Cette personne a même été très intrusif à me déranger au sortir de ma douche alors que je voulais profiter tranquillement du coucher de soleil sur la lagune. J’ai quand même fait une activité avec lui mais il a changé les horaires à sa convenance et n’a pas tenu compte du fait que je ne comprenais rien à ce qu’il me disait.

la atención de Jimmy fue muy buena, estaba muy atento a qué tuviéramos una buena experiencia, y estaba comunicado con los guías de los tours en caso de cualquier cosa. En cuanto llegamos a la Pavona, había alguien esperándonos de parte del hostal dándonos instrucciones para llegar sin problema a Tortugueros. La habitación estaba limpia y ordenada, había aire acondicionado que ayudaba a mantener fresca la habitación. Gracias Jimmy por la preocupación y la experiencia.

Staff is friendly and help full. Clean and quiet area despite main road a few meters away. Convenient location if you have a car. Can be difficult to access entrance when there is traffic because of the one lane bridge. I stayed in July so there were a lot of bugs in the porch area, sometimes they come in if the door is not closed fast enough, but it's part of the CR nature. Bug spray helped keep them at bay.

Tortuguero ist ein einmaliger Ort und die Casa los Chilamates waren die perfekte Unterkunft für diesen Ort. Die Wohnung ist sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Zudem liegt sie direkt neben dem Dschungel, sodass man auf der Veranda sitzen kann und von verschiedensten Tieren wie Kolibris, blauen Krabben, Affen und vielem mehr besucht wird. Gabriel war unser Host. Er war sowohl vorab als auch während der Zeit dort immer sofort erreichbar, super nett und offen. Wir haben das Jungle Pack bei ihm gebucht und waren von allen drei Aktivitäten begeistert. Besonders die Kanu Fahrt ist ein absoluter Traum. Einen besseren Guide als Gabriel hätten wir uns nicht vorstellen können. Alles in allem empfehle ich jedem diese Unterkunft zu buchen.

The house was very simple as you can see from the photos. Only one bedroom has air conditioning and it is very hot and there are no screens on the windows so we didn’t feel comfortable opening windows at night. There are fans but the bedrooms were pretty stuffy at night. We loved the location: right across from a grocery store and on the edge of town so we could see monkeys and macaws in the trees, and we loved that we were in a local neighborhood. Our kids getting to play with the friendly neighborhood kids was a memorable experience that made the stuffiness worth it on balance.

On a passé un excellent séjour grace à Gabriel il était la à nous attendre, il était toujours prêt à aider, très réactif il répondait toujours à toute nos questions et tres rapidement, le logement était propre confortable et approximité de tout

Nous avons passés un chouette séjour ici, la chambre était très propre et agréable. Carmen est gentille et réactive :)
