We had a short, but fantastic stay with Carstens family and very easy going. It's a perfect pls e to go with children, since we traveled with our little child. We can recommend it!

We had a pleasant 3 days in a secure environment. The studio is as described, daily cleaning and towels replaced at discretion almost every day. Bedding with mosquito net and large bathroom. Communication with Mireille and Franck her husband was fluid. We also had an early check-in because our flight was in the morning.

We love the house, besides beautiful, clean and comfortable (all very practical and complete with appliances), the location is great. It is next to the República subway and Consolação Avenue, which is a facility for those who are on public transportation. Also a block from Roosevelt Square where many delicious little bars are located. We love everything, Isabela is so helpful and promptly helped us with everything we need. We'll be back!!!

Beach front location. Great spot with all the resort restaurants along the beach. Nice big comfy beds and nice looking apartment. There isn't hot water and there isn't water at certain points of the day. Wasn't an issue as there was always running water in the evenings after 5pm. The kitchen isn't fully equipped for cooking so you have to either eat cold meals in the apartment or eat out. A can of can be bought for the gas hobs at an extra cost. Didn't bother for a few days. No fridge either. You need to pick up the keys from Bamboo beach club which is 200m along the beach front. You can also use the pool there! Bamboo beach was pretty good for food. We loved the place overall even if we couldn't really use the kitchen.

There are two second floor and two first floor apartments. We stayed in one of the second floor apartments, which have kitchens (the first floor ones do not). Everything we needed to cook was there. There is a restaurant just up the road that you can call or text that delivers if you don't want to cook. The photos are accurate. The room was cozy and comfortable and spacious enough although the bathroom is bit small. The view was fantastic from the large porch. The porch of the two second floor apartments is shared, but there is a divider so you have complete privacy. The beach is long and cresent shaped great for walking. There is a surfing school right next door if you'd like to try. The instructor is a Malagasy man named Joe. Very friendly. Lydie, the manager, was one of the best parts of our visit. She is amazing! So friendly and helpful! She went out of her way to make us feel at home. She's a gem! Definitely a place that I would like to return to.
