Vacation rentals in The Settlement

Coconut Breeze was as good as advertised. The home was comfortable, well stocked and had spectacular views, absolutely perfect for our group of 6. Definitely get a 4 wheel drive vehicle as the roads leading up are steep and a bumpy, but hey it’s St John and that’s what you signed up for. While the home is tucked into the private, lush jungle hillside it’s also conveniently located a short drive away from multiple restaurants, grocery stores etc. We had an issue with an AC unit in the cottage, but it was promptly resolved by our host. The cottage porch was not screened in, but maybe this is something that will be done in the future. If you are staying in Coral Bay Coconut Breeze is the way.

Heaven’s gate is a beautiful place and appropriately named. The drive-in is gorgeous with impeccable, landscaping and beautiful flowers the views from all of the rooms, the decks and the pool were breathtaking. It was peaceful and private with all the amenities that Hugo listed as as well as many more restaurants bars, snorkeling, stores, and more were close by inconvenient. The linens on the beds were crisp and smelled so fresh and clean. Each bedroom had its own private shower and it was difficult to say goodbye because we felt so comfortable and at home there. Our entire party 100% agrees that heaven’s gate is a 10 out of 10.

My husband and I just got back from Donald’s place and we could not have loved it more. It was the perfect location, felt right at home, and had the best vacation. We rented a car for the first few days to explore the island, get ferries to Jost and Virgin Gorda, and enjoyed a gorgeous sunset dinner at Bananakeet, one of Donald’s recommendations. Donald’s home has everything you could possibly need, with the most comfortable bed and the perfect balcony for sitting out to enjoy the view. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back! We absolutely loved our stay! The communication with Lorraine was 10/10 and she gave us some excellent recommendations for snorkeling/beaches. The cottage was clean and had all the things we needed. Water pressure wasn't great, but everything needs to be conserved on the island and it wasn't a deal breaker. The grounds were exceptional and absolutely gorgeous! The pool area we utilized every day and would have even more, but didn't want to miss the beaches. The driveway and stairs leading up to Ocean are not for the faint of heart, but when you see the view, it's worth it! We fell in love with Coral Bay and the remote beaches. If you need time to decompress and relax and take in the beauty, this is the spot for you!

Amazing! Spacious and beautiful place, very comfortable for my family. Full house with a very well equipped kitchen. Nice location and near ferry terminal. Wesley was very responsive. We hope to return.

I can’t say enough about our stay! Gorgeous private beach with so many beach treasures. I only wish we could’ve enjoyed some snorkeling out on the reef. Kitchen is well equipped for any cooking needs. Incredible views! Sonny took good care of us during our stay. We can’t wait to return.

This was a great place for a break from sailing if you needed some time with your feet on the ground. The place was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only downside is you need to be reasonably healthy to walk up from the dinghy dock and beach area as the road is quite steep, which we were advised beforehand. All in all, a wonderful experience with both Bob and the place.

Our stay at Sand Dollar was perfect! Beds were comfy and home is well appointed. I don’t know that the view could get any better. We had a wonderful time with a slight glitch when I sprained by ankle, but Jude came to the rescue with an elasticized ankle support and our BVI adventure continued. We found the binder on the coffee table very helpful with restaurant and excursion suggestions. Hosts were very responsive and went out of their to make our trip the very best!

Jonathan & Jude we’re terrific hosts. The villa is beautiful and we couldn’t have been happier. We had five adults, lots of room and fantastic views The pool was very refreshing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and trips to the islands.
