Vacation rentals in Tanegashima

Retreat house was a great visit with plenty of supplies covering small things needed in the trip!! The whole house was spotless including the toilets. The host was prompt to any queries we had.

We loved staying in this house. after a busy week in Tokyo and Hiroshima, it was great to get back into nature and decompress. Yoshi the host was very helpful and always quick yo respond when we had a question or asked for local advice. The photographs and description accurately describe the house and we loved coming back on the evenings after a having packed days hiking and exploringvthe island by car. I would definitely come back again.

Once I stepped into the house, I know why Mike got 4.99 score. Lovely house with lots of privacy surrounding. Best place to stay if you rented a car.

We loved every minute of our stay. The cottage is located away from the main road within a beautiful forest (a small creek you can bathe in!) and a tea plantation (a car is recommended). Kayoko left clear instructions and the check in was simple. The cottage has a beautiful view of the sea from the porch area, which we enjoyed sitting on before and after our hikes. The place is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you could need. Although there isn’t a full kitchen, we managed to cook simple dishes with the combo-microwave. We only stayed for three nights but could have stayed for much longer. We’ll always remember it as a special place and hope we can return here one day! Thank you Kayoko :)

Akrira's home expresses thoughtfulness in every detail. For example, there is a multitude of young family members. You are greeted by a vase of beautiful flowers. There aren't a thousand signs like on other listings that you get excellent instructions via email. Bathroom and kitchen are bellows equipped. Good location to restaurants. Beautiful beaches along the coast. Vikan really recommend Akira's accommodation.

I plan to stay in Yakushima, and if you have a rental car, I highly recommend this place!!️ This is a place that meets all the expectations of Airbnb.🥹 In Yakushima, the restaurants closed early, and it was difficult to eat out because they were quickly filled to capacity. However, there was a grocery store near the property, so it was easy to get food, and it was nice to be able to cook because it was equipped with cutlery and seasonings. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, so it was a comfortable stay. The host was quick to respond and kind. It was nice that you provided information on nearby restaurants and amenities. I want to stay again next time I come to Yakushima!!

Cameron’s place is absolutely stunning, we completely fell in love with it the moment we arrived. The interiod design is beautiful, with so much attention to detail, and the whole house feels incredibly warm and welcoming. It’s also very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and feel comfortable. The beds were super comfy, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep. Honestly, the house looks even better in person than in the listing photos, which is saying a lot! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Host was so nice and helpful. The place itself was very peaceful and clean, would absolutely stay here next time I’m back in Yakushima.
