The old wooden Japanese house is very beautiful, making people reluctant to go out, experiencing a rare rural time. The host was friendly and hospitable, and picked us up and dropped us off at the B&B after we arrived. The stay was very pleasant. Highly recommended!

We wish we could give 10 stars to Tadashi and Hideyo! They are the most caring and amazing hosts that you could ask for! They treated us like family and spoiled us with tons of snacks, drinks, gifts for our children and 2 fantastic breakfasts! Tadashi also helped us plan our itinerary and gave us great ideas on where to go and what to eat. The traditional Japanese house has an amazing garden and view with lots of space and amazing decorations throughout. It was well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We definitely hope to return, and would 100% highly recommend Yugetsu to our friends and family!!

Enjoy Shikashima, protected by a 1200-year-old camphor tree

When I went to the rest area that was guided by the Airbnb app chat, the host came to pick me up halfway and I was able to enter the room smoothly. The room was spacious and clean, and I was able to relax as if it were my grandparents' house in the countryside. The people on the island also spoke to us in moderation, and I had a very relaxing stay.I'll definitely be back again.

Teshima Museum walk, in-room dining, sauna (RSV)

JoeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Shin and Emi are very nice and friendly, as they gave us advice about transportation, to-dos etc. months before our stay, also collect our preferences (meal options, sauna, art performance etc.) days before. About the house, it is everything we wish for and beyond, neat and tidy, traditional Japanese style (we slept on the tatami like babies), and retro but beautiful interior design. Would definitely recommend for group of 2-3 people! Last but not least, their art performance transcends our understanding of live cinema, also learnt a lot about history and environment, would also recommend!

Central Takamatsu/A place to settle/Easy access

佳琳Rating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at Miyuki-san and Yukichika-san’s lovely home. The traditional Japanese-style house was warm, clean, and cozy—it really felt like home. The bike they provided was especially helpful for exploring Takamatsu, as many scenic spots are a bit far apart. Their restaurant recommendations were spot-on, and the anime-style pictures added a fun touch. You can really feel the care they put into every detail, from the fresh scent in the bathroom to the welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear that they truly enjoy hosting, and that made our trip even more special. Highly recommended!

It's the No. 1 accommodation I've ever been to. First of all, cleanliness is basic! It's perfectly clean without a single speck of dust or hair. Everything is perfectly equipped, from bedding, sofas, dining tables, and tableware to very generous towels and various necessities, so that there is no inconvenience at all, even if I brought my luggage. It's so meticulously prepared that you'll be surprised to find that they even have this. But it's not just practical. I liked the interior so much that I wanted to refer to it later at home. And they rented two bikes for free, so I rode the bike so well throughout the trip. Also, the response is very quick and really kind. I love this place so much that I want to come back to Takamatsu and live for a month!!! Even the value for the money is the best. The overall score is 50 million out of 5! I rested and enjoyed it so well. Thank you.🥰

Very nice 2-week stay! Responsive host, supermarkets nearby (5 min walk) and accommodation close to the train station (13 min walk from Shin-Kurashiki station). Small bonus on the reliability of the description and photos of the apartment. All the necessary appliances are available (mini-oven, washing machine, microwave, kettle, fridge, electric stove) and we are provided with a large part of the cleaning products (dishwashing liquid, shower gel, shampoo, laundry,...) and hygiene (towels, toilet paper, toothbrush,...). Finally, the apartment is very clean and big enough for 2 people.
