The building in which the homestay is, had been built in traditional Ladakhi style, the floors are wooden & ceiling is also made in the traditional Ladakhi style- with tree trunks. Some of the rooms have best view of the mountains specially Stok glacier. ( 6150 meters above sea level). Outside the building there is farm in which we grow green-spinach, bokchoy, brocolli, cauliflower, cabbage, potato, tomato etc. we practice organic farming since 2009.

We are away from the buzz in Leh but still very close with 7km to Leh. We started building this house in 2019 with the idea to create a space which feels part of the land it is built on and in harmony with the ecosystem of Ladakh. We love cooking for our guests so dinner and breakfast are included if you wish.

Our stay is near the village of Sumur. Away from the usual hustle in the sand dunes of Hunder. The interiors are carefully handcrafted and a sight to behold. Quite secluded but homely. You will get simple home-cooked food, with seasonal vegetables plucked straight from our farm at times. Simple vegetarian breakfast and dinner are included. Heating charges extra during the winter months.
