Vacation rentals in Spittal of Glenshee

We booked both apartments for our 2 families - for a family wedding at the Rhynd just along the road. The kitchens are really well equipped, very clean. We had lots of space, it was very flexible for a large group. Bathrooms lovely. Heating efficient and easy to use. And our dog Molly loved the enclosed back garden. Would highly recommend these apartments.

The photos don’t do Camusmore justice - it’s even better in person! The house was perfect for our family getaway - ages 8-70 catered for. Great rooms, well equipped kitchen and lovely surroundings. Plenty seating inside and out with a good sized enclosed garden for dogs and children. Close to plenty of activities and we’d recommend the Balavoulin for food.

Beautiful place to stay. Down the track from their farm hidden away with beautiful views. Everything was clean, modern and well kept. The bed linen was superior and so comfy. The garden and outside areas were nicely kept. We had some meat from their farm shop for our dinner. I’d say the space is suited more for two adults or two adults and children as the single beds are narrow. Lovely hot shower and good basic cooking facilities. The hot tub was why we booked it and it didn’t disappoint, it was fab! We had a lovely walk from the pod past the burn and a waterfall to the town for lunch. Lots to see nearby in terms of walks/hikes, fishing, distilleries, castles, coast, towns etc. Responsive host. A good location to explore this side of Scotland and top notch comfortable accommodation to stay in.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Chloé avec notre petit chien Barney. L’environnement est calme, sécurisé et paisible. Le jacuzzi est très agréable et le logement propre, rempli de petites attentions. Chloé est une hôte réactive, qui nous a donné beaucoup d’informations utiles et qui nous a été très agréable. Le logement se trouve à proximité d’Inverness et du Loch Ness, idéal pour prévoir quelques visites. Nous recommandons totalement !

Wonderful place, stunning, would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in Bo’ness. Het huis was comfortabel, schoon en volledig uitgerust. Het voelde meteen als thuis. De locatie is top: rustig, maar met supermarkten en een pub met lekkere, huisgemaakte gerechten op loopafstand. Met onze 2 tienerzonen genoten we van de mooie omgeving: wandelingen, fietstochten en uitstapjes naar Stirling, Edinburgh en zelfs de Highlands. De hosts waren ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op de dag van vertrek verraste de eigenaar ons zelfs met verse broodjes, aardbeien en water voor onderweg – zo attent! Een geweldige plek om te verblijven en een perfect vertrekpunt om Schotland te ontdekken. Aanrader! Gijs & Marian

We stayed here for a family get together with 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. The area in newtonmore is so lovely, quiet and so many beautiful walks nearby. You are a five minute walk from beautiful Scottish landscapes. The kids had so much fun finding the wildcats around the town. The house was lovely and spacious- much bigger than we thought because of the photos. Museum was also in walking distance which is free (just asked for donations). The house was very clean and had all amenities we needed along with lots of board games and DVDs. The TV has been upgraded since the photos also. Mark was responsive to messages and sorted anything we asked for. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we will 100% be back. Thanks again☺️

Mark & James were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble at all. On arrival Mark presented us with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and was very chatty and welcoming, we needed some milk and James popped round to the spa shop for it. The apartment was very nice and in a quiet surrounding area. Very private and enclosed garden handy for the little dog we have. The apartment had everything we needed and we were able to cook a nice meal there on the last night, the hosts had left crisps, sweets, drinks and dog treats there which was a very nice touch. The outside hot tub and pit fire in the private garden was very relaxing and I would recommend this to anyone who stays. All in all we had a fantastic 3 nights there and will definitely be back again and that’s the best recommendation we can give.

A lovely place to stay with our dog, Bear, who loved the sheep and the secure “mini dog park”. We loved the home and said how we both immediately felt comfortable there thanks to the nice atmosphere, goodies and Veronica’s welcome. Ample parking too. Only a shame we didn’t stay longer. The road was a little noisy at night and there is currently some road works, but these were only during the day time. Very happy with our stay indeed!
