Vacation rentals with a fireplace in South Coast

A perfect getaway for 2 couples. The place was exactly as described and spotless. A well equipped kitchen for cooking and baking. We also enjoyed meals and the experience at the local winery and Drom Hotel.

Gorgeous sea cottage overlooking the cliff. So well designed and decorated with curated eyes in both art collection and furnishings. Private and quiet even though there’s a house directly behind sea cottage. Perfect for a writer and artist as I got so much done with the sea as inspiration. Cockatoos came and visited me everyday. 1st day just by himself, day 2 he brought his partner, on day 3 he invited 8 more of his friends so the 9 of them welcome me with fanfare!

I highly recommend this property as it was stunning. My husband and I went away for two nights for a wedding and from the moment we walked into the door we felt so calm and both in awe at how beautiful the property was. So much thought has gone into this beautiful home and I think it’s one of our favourite spots we have stayed to date. The outside bath was our favourite along with the fireplace to help us relax. The host was great and check in was super easy. We could not fault one thing and we cannot to book again for a weekend reset. The perfect location for anyone wanting to slow down. We stayed as a couple but this place would be amazing to go with two other couples, a family or friends! Location was also great and walking distance into town.

This house is absolutely stunning, you will not want to leave. The view is spectacular, the inside was cosy and spacious, it looked like it was straight out of a magazine and perfect for a weekend to hang with friends. We will be back because we loved it so much! Thanks for being great hosts! We were lucky enough to get an early check-in and late check-out, which we appreciated greatly!

We spent a weekend at Sassafras as a family as a surprise for my Mum's 70th Birthday. It is the most beautiful and private location for anyone wanting a true country escape to unwind. A stunning home nestled amongst rolling hills and greenery with breathtaking views. Huge house with a beautiful relaxed vibe, plenty of room for the family to enjoy together, allowing the kids to enjoy activities on the lawn and for the adults to relax and enjoy conversaion and a glass of wine around the fireplace. Sally was an incredible host, extremely friendly, quick to respond with any question and extremely accomodating. Would recommend hands down, we were very happy with our stay!

Ingela's place is amazing, perfectly located, stunning views and so so relaxing. A perfect place to access the bay and the beach and we were so lucky to have beautiful weather and spectacular sun rises. The house is so peaceful and had plenty of room for our group of 7. We loved the front deck and the fire place, great kitchen for cook ups, and our puppy was very happy in this safe environment. Thanks for having us, we would definitely love to come back.

We just had a lovely 3 nights at Barefoot House at Culburra. Susannah was a lovely host, very friendly and easy to communicate with. The house is just beautiful. It was warm and welcoming as soon as you open the door and see the lake sparkling through the windows. The house is so well styled and it just feels relaxing which is what the wknd was about. A lovely place to spend time with family, close to the beach, 15 mins walk to the shops which has a really cool brewery and coffee shops. All the rooms have big comfortable beds which is also what you want for a relaxing break. A really great place to stay! Highly recommend the house to anyone. Thanks Susannah again for being a great host.

A short walk to the beach and coffee van in the morning. Local shops also super close for last minute items. We loved our stay and hope to be back.

Our stay at Shane's apartment was excellent! Shane was helpful and responsive from the get go and directions/check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was clean, tidy and homey, with all the essential amenities and more. The Parsley Bay area was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views and peaceful surrounds. It is an easy walk to Watson's Bay for seafood or a ferry ride--bus stop right outside the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend staying here to others and can't wait to return.

This Airbnb was exactly how it was described and looked like the photos. Was in a beautiful location and had great beach views. It was in a great location with spots to get coffee and food close by. Kate was a great host and always replied quickly and was helpful!

This was a wonderful place to stay, gorgeous location and surrounds with a great view. The place was very cosy and comfortable and both hosts were incredibly friendly! Well worth the trip!

An absolute gem (pardoned the pun) in the heart of the Southern Highlands! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage like dwelling is the perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy charm, making it the ideal retreat for a relaxing getaway. Perfect for those who are driving through, slightly away from the heart of town and surrounded by lovely estate area. Also ideal for those who like to make the most of a kitchen too & enjoying some of the local delights. Bowral and Berrima provided the perfect backdrop for exploration, with their quaint local shops, delightful cafés, bookstores and scenic countryside. Each day was a wonderful mix of comfort and adventure, returning to this peaceful haven after strolling through historic streets and discovering hidden treasures. We can’t wait to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the residence, which offered exceptional comfort, impressive amenities, and impeccable cleanliness. The expansive outdoor spaces provided ample opportunity for relaxation within the compound. Our host, Helen, demonstrated outstanding hospitality and was readily available to assist with any queries. The property's location was equally impressive, situated mere minutes from the Majura Park Shopping Centre. Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we eagerly anticipate returning on our next visit to Canberra.

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely two night stay at Anna's place. This lovely spot is situated within just minutes of walking distance to some incredible dining and bars. So quick and easy to wander off on foot to check out the local shops and cafes without any hassles. Anna had arranged ahead of time for our expectated arrival and had the heating and lights on ready and waiting for us! The texted instructions and fair lit up walkways was a spectacular sight on arrival. There were also so many small welcoming touches that made it just fabulous from the hand written note, to the fresh fruit biscuits, chocolates and flowers and essentials like English muffins and milk! The space is cozy and so well laid out and furnished with a very much at home vibe. We would absolutely stay again! Anna is a fabulously friendly and welcoming host and the place is so cozy and cared for!

Comfortable apartment, walking distance to good restaurants. Good pool and sauna. The extra comforts of home were very welcoming.

I was hesitant to write a review as I want to keep this slice of paradise to myself! The view is spectacular and when you are soaking in the hot tub watching the sun go down it does not get much better than that. The house is perfect for a catch up with extended family or friends. Lots of comfy beds and room for everyone to either spend time together or get some quiet time separately. The kitchen is well equipped and we loved to sit for hours eating and watching the birds at the bay window. The wood fired pizza oven was a bonus. The internet is not great when outside of the room with the modem but I worked from the dining room table and it worked fine even for video calls. Highly recommend this fabulous house. I don’t really want to leave a review as I would love this place to stay a secret! This was one of the most wonderful Air BnB’s we have ever stayed in. The villa was beautiful, the surroundings even better and the level of care and attention to detail were incredible. A special shout goes out to Patrick the caretaker who took wonderful care of us and really made our stay special. We created memories swimming down at the creek that will stay with us all for a lifetime. A truly special place that we can’t wait to return to 💕

We had a wonderful stay at The Nest in Gundaroo. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and tidy, offering a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We also had a fantastic dinner at Grazing, just down the road, which was a delightful dining experience. The peaceful surroundings, with birds singing and beautiful flowers blooming, made for a tranquil and rejuvenating stay. Thank you Lana 🌸

Wonderful 2 night stay; but would easily stay longer! The hosts arranged in-house massage which was needed after hiking a couple of days beforehand. Wonderful to have fresh produce/supplies and the heated bathroom floor a real treat for us QLD'ers. The bird feeder was fantastic and we seen many rosellas. Will be recommending to family and friends.

The property was absolutely immaculate and worth the financial investment for our stay. No expense has been spared in the property and the attention to the smallest detail made a huge difference. There was nothing lacking in the property. We will be back for sure!
