Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Shikoku

On the day, the evening ferry was cancelled due to bad weather, and they called in the morning and drove the luggage to the apartment at the ferry time. (We accidentally missed the ferry to Ogi Island once, and despite the inconvenience, they came to pick us up a second time.I'm really grateful. Check-in was smooth and I was able to relax immediately. The room was private and very spacious, and 6 of us used it, but 2 people were prepared in 3 rooms, and we had a relaxing stay. The ocean spread out in front of me, and even in bad weather (cloudy) it felt very open. Also, the decorated interior and art were very nice, and it felt like we were staying in a villa by the sea overseas. The kitchen was equipped with a commercial stove and a spacious sink, and we were able to use the basic condiments left by previous guests. If you buy food in Takamatsu, I think you can make basic dishes without any problems. Also, there were two bathrooms, one with only a shower and one with a bathtub, It was great to get into the bathtub early.It was a luxurious bath time where the sea breeze came in and the sound of the waves could be felt nearby, even though the outside was not visible to pedestrians. Also, I was told that the sound of the wind and rattling might be louder at night, but I didn't really notice it. At check-out, breakfast was served early so that we could make it in time for the ferry. I was able to get together with friends in a very nice space and enjoy reading in peace.Thank you very much. Lastly, I was surprised to learn that the author of Hotaru no Hikari was drawing a manga here!It's certainly a place that's so charming you'll want to paint it!

We went to the place as a family of four, as we arrived very late, the place is in the woods and its abit dark and narrow, but with host’s instruction we still manage to find the way in. It’s a renovated old wooden house in the woods, it’s good to experience the old traditional Japanese style. And you can really feel the nature in the morning with singing birds around. Two things to note is the bathroom is separated from the main house and it’s abit not convenient. And highly recommend to arrive daytime so you can see the road clearly. But if you are a nature person, this is a good place to go and it’s also near the Shimanto city which you can do cycling along the river and enjoy the view.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The host was very friendly and took a lot of time to explain us everything about the accommodation. The farm is beautifully renovated and feels very luxurious. There are a lot of additional facilities. The sauna with view on the water was amazing. Thanks for having us!

I used it with 3 families of friends. The reply was quick, and they answered my questions thoroughly, and they also recommended a parking lot, which was helpful. The kids started exploring from the moment they entered the room.I enjoyed the many rooms and the stairs like a maze. It was helpful that there were cups, plates, paper cups, wraps, frying pans, and even seasonings. One bottle of water per person was also helpful. The bed was comfortable, and there were a lot of hair irons, lotions, tissues, etc., and it was well cleaned. If I had to say something I wished for, I would like the shower pressure to be stronger, and since there was only one room with a TV, I thought it would be nice to have one on each floor. However, overall, all three families were very satisfied and would definitely stay again.I was talking about it.

The kitchen, bath, and other water areas were clean, and the tableware and cooking utensils were quite complete, so we had a pleasant time without any inconvenience!

It was a very quiet and relaxing inn surrounded by beautiful rice terraces. I had a dog with me, but the room was tidy and tidy, so I felt at ease. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and condiments, which was very helpful!!I was able to deliciously cook the ingredients I bought at the local supermarket. I want to go again.

The homestay is clean, with modern and new equipment, especially the bathroom and toilet, and it is particularly pleasant to take a bath here.There is a large garden outside the house, and there was light rain on the day of arrival, sitting under a canopy, and it was very comfortable to listen to the sound of the rain. The homestay only has one double room, the other two people need tatami, the tatami space is connected to the living room. The host of the homestay is very friendly and responds very quickly to messages, since I left something behind in the last B&B, it needs to be sent to this side, thankfully he helped him to get the mail smoothly. The amenities of the B&B are fully equipped, the only thing that is insufficient is that there is more clutter, and it feels a little narrow.However, if there are children staying, it should be nice because there are a lot of toys and hair dolls.

Hi from the US! This stay was perfect for the 3 days we visited Hiroshima. Within walking distance to restaurants, stores, and the Peace Memorial. The hosts allowed us to check in early, and were very kind. 10/10 recommend.

The unit was as advertised and perfect for our family. The space was ample and the kitchen was just enough space for some quick meal, though we did eat our mostly. Beds were comfortable and large. Public transportation was a breeze.

This place was an absolute gem! I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Hiroshima, absolutely fantastic location with something to do in every direction. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to stay here, thank you again for having us!

Staying at Mari’s place was a pure bliss. Pretty much everything is a walking distance from it, from groceries, to cafes, touristic places… even the train station is just 30min away if you’re up for just a slightly longer walk. She has clear instructions for absolutely anything and everything, is very responsive, very welcoming… my stay in Okayama felt just like home.

It is a quiet residential neighborhood, and it is close to the station and shopping district, which is convenient.Thank you.😊

It was a nice, clean place near a train stop, making the main station really accessible. The castle was only a few minutes on foot, the city centre is 25-30 minutes away. Nice, clean place.

I loved the beautiful surroundings. It was a very quiet and pleasant experience. The night of check in, I was unsure of which building i had to enter. Thankfully the owner replied to my question extremely fast! In the morning, we chatted for alittle before i left. They are warm and friendly. Highly recommend and would definitely come back. We had a BBQ and sauna in a private space and had a very fulfilling time. The facilities are very new and beautiful.

The view was good, it was a very quiet and comfortable space, I enjoyed the sauna, I was able to take an air bath, and the flow of the bath and water bath was perfect!I was also able to see the morning sun clearly.The sauna in the morning was also a great memory. The kitchen was also spacious and very easy to use.I couldn't connect the projector, but next time I want to come with all my friends!

Used for corporate retreats.There was a training session until 7 pm, so I didn't have time to cook, so I consulted with the owner and asked for a visiting chef. I appreciate the owner's flexibility. The accommodation was really wonderful, with everything you could possibly need, including dishes, knives, an extension cord for the hot plate, a rice cooker for the blender, cutlery for the pots, and more. The sauna was comfortable, the bath was right next to it, and the view was great, so everyone was really happy. Everyone was saying "Yeah, yeah" and it was linked to the name of the accommodation, so it was a little embarrassing. The view from the sauna was also the best, and I was able to experience something extraordinary, making it the best trip.Thank you! Everyone said they wanted to come back.Thank you very much!

I visited with my family.The barbecue, bonfire, Heidi-like swing, hammocks, and sea views were also awesome and I enjoyed it.The facilities are clean and safe. Thank you very much. Large cars require quite a bit of driving skills.
