Apartment vacation rentals in Shiga

My stay was just as expected! The room is big and has a private bathroom, its on the first floor so you have to go up the stairs but the building has a luggage elevator so its bo problem if you are traveling with big luggages! the house is very central only 5 min by walking away from the closest train and bus station! the room was clean and i worth the price i would totally stay here again!

This was a fantastic place to stay during our road trip. Felt comfy, peaceful and safe. Included car space too which was super helpful. Will stay again if we find ourselves in the area.

Was a nice quant little location away from Kyoto's hustle and bustle. The Cocoro hotel was as per the description. A nice bedroom with a neat toilet and a clean kitchen. We were able to keep our luggages in early and in thankful to the host for the same. They give us fresh towels each day and were super responsive. The icing on the cake is however the proximity to the Misasagi Station and that saved us a lot of time on travel. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Our stay at the apartment was wonderful, largely thanks to Hirari's incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. He was always ready to help with anything we needed, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touches for our children, including some delicious local sweets! Hirari even helped us reorganize the room to better suit our family's needs, which was so kind and helpful. His warm and generous nature truly made our trip even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a host who genuinely cares about their guests.

The place is amazing, it may be not the biggest, but has everything you could need. Its location is super close to Fushimi Inari, we took advantadge of if and went at 4:30am so it wouldn't be that crowded. It was perfect. We even had time to do a bit of hiking going off the rails on our way to the top of the mountain, and even so, we were back at the AirBnb at 8am. Everything was neatly cleaned and welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay. The Kyoto Station was only 2 stops away from Fushimi Inari JR Station (Nara Line) and really close to the place. Super recommended if you want to go to Kyoto.

It was just perfect. The area was lively during the day and then quiet again in the evening. There are two train stations right next door, which makes you very flexible and means you can get into the city quickly. You should be aware that there is a railway crossing nearby that makes a bit of noise, but that wasn't so bad for me. If I lived in Kyoto, I would definitely be very happy living in this apartment. If I come back to Kyoto, I will book the same apartment again.

Nice views from windows on the fifth floor. Airy, clean, comfortable place. Elevator was very quiet and fast. Very happy with the place. Will come back and stay again.

Yoshimi est une hôte géniale. Elle est sympathique et repose toujours très rapidement. Elle nous a également arrangés pour le check-in. Le logement est très propre et à distance de marche des principaux points d'intérêt de Kyoto, et à proximité des vélos également. Il y a le nécessaire pour rester sur place (gel douche, vaisselle, machine etc) mais on s'y sent vite à l'étroit lorsque l'on reste longtemps. Je recommande pour rester quelques jours.

I enjoyed 2 lovely nights here. It was perfectly suited to what I needed and was close to the river, the centre and there were plenty of options for food around. Would recommend and would stay again! Thanks

Suzuko was a great host, he always responded quickly and was very caring to me, his guest. If you have large heavy cases, I suggest you leave them at the bottom of the narrow windy staircase and go up to the room to prop the outward opening door, then carry them up one at a time. And for savoury lovers there is a FABULOUS bakery just opposite. I visited far too many times😊 Also the location is just great, minutes from the market, 2 underground lines, department stores and dozens of eating places. I really enjoyed staying here for 10 days.

Wincent was a wonderful host. His place was very clean and perfect for our stay in Kyoto. Easy access to bus and train stations made it a breeze to travel to all the amazing places in Kyoto. It was also very easy to walk to the bustling parts of town, but very quiet back at the apartment. Highly recommend!

L'apartament es troba en un complex d'aparta-hotels, es a dir, que hi trobaras tot el que et pots esperar d'una habitació d'hotel, pero amb cuina. La recepcionista es una dona dolça i encantadora que ens ha atés extremadament bé. A en Tayo no l'hem vist; entenc que serà un especulador més que turistifica la zona. No negaré que amb les seves indicacions m'esperaba que fos un apartament d'ell o la seva familia, i no pas un gran negoci, pero així estan les coses. Tot i així, no puc valorar negativament la estada, doncs malgrat tot es bo, bonic i barat. Una gran estada en un lloc super céntric.

Yoshimi’s place was a great place to stay. It was out of the busy tourist areas but extremely walkable to things and transportation. It was quiet and comfortable. We would stay again.

I love the place I was at, everything was so near and easy to find. The host did a great job checking me in and out. Was there for a whole month so it felt like home and was so comfortable. I highly recommend for a ling stay because everything you need is near by.

I absolutely loved this apartment. I stayed for a few weeks and didn’t want to leave. The bed was so comfortable and there was plenty of closet space for a longer stay. It was so close to everything too, but in a really quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in Kyoto! Host was so friendly and kind as well, and helped me ship my luggage when it was time to move on.

Wir haben 2 Nächte in Seths Unterkunft im modernen Ryokanstil verbracht und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Es ist die perfekte Mischung aus traditionellem, japanischem Wohnstil und Moderne, die Komfort bietet. Das Haus liegt im historischen, ruhigen Viertel, zu Fuß ist man aber in ca. 15-20 Minuten im Trubel der Stadt. Eine Bushaltestelle ist fussläufig nur eine Minute entfernt. Das Haus ist in zwei getrennte Apartments aufgeteilt, im oberen Stock gibt es „nur“ eine Außendusche, was wir aber wirklich toll fanden! Der Bereich ist sicht-/ und windgeschützt und verfügt außerdem über eine Außenbadewanne mit automatischer Temperaturregelung. Hier haben wir abends den Sonnenuntergang genießen können. Die Futonbetten waren sehr bequem, die Unterkunft sehr sauber. Wir können das Café „Nona“, das fußläufig nur ca. eine Minute entfernt ist, sehr empfehlen! Wir waren rundum begeistert und würden sofort wieder kommen!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The place was spotless, with both indoor and outdoor bathtubs that made for a truly relaxing experience. It’s incredibly cozy and well-designed, with a perfect location—just a short walk to the subway and the river. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Kyoto!

We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

very large apartment. very close to tourist areas in Kyoto. lovely semi-outdoors bath big bathroom. lots of living space. fresh towels when needed would recommend. The apartment has a small kettle and fridge would have been better to have a small kitchenette added with a bit more facilities but didn't negatively affect our trip
