I had an amazing stay at Joana's place!! It's a modern and well equipped flat, and very spacious!! Both bedrooms had comfy beds, and we loved the bathroom (particularly shower - great pressure and temperature). It's also centrally located and walkable to cafes, bars and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone!! Thank you Joana 😊

The host, Maria was very responsive and provided all details regarding her home ahead of time. Check in was a breeze. The view from the balcony was amazing and you could see both the castle and the river from the top. Perfect to enjoy a glass of wine. The home was decorated nicely and the amenities included a dishwasher, washer/dryer combo, as well as AC, which was needed during our visit considering the hot weather! There were a few convenient stores located next to the listing to pick up bottles of water and cafes and restaurants were just a short walk away.

André & Lucile's apartment served as the home base for my family's visit to Lisbon. The location, actually in Belém, is a convenient walk to several Lisbon attractions as well as the famous Pastéis de Belém. There is a small grocery store a few minutes away, which I would recommend over any convenience stores where you might face tourist prices. The description of the apartment and the pictures in the listing were very accurate. I was aware that the "Patio" was not an open air space based on other reviews; it is enclosed but there is space between the panes of glass to allow fresh air to circulate. I'd liken it to a sunroom with partially open windows. There were 3 generations of us (2 parents, 2 children, and 2 grandparents) so I actually rented their adjacent apartment so that nobody needed to sleep on a sofa bed (the sofa was comfortable). I am happy with having made this decision and would recommend this apartment for anyone visiting the area.

This apartment is absolutely incredible. Immaculate, beautiful sea views, lovely furnishings- just wonderful. And in the interesting old part of town. So glad we chose to come here!

Excellent stay. The location was great - and the home was clean and spacious for all 5 of us (family, including 19mo old). The child-friendly toys and crib/high-chair were huge helps. The location was just around the corner from great shops and restaurants. And we hiked from the Airbnb to the top of the Pena Palace. We stayed for 2 nights, and I wish we had time to stay longer. Would highly recommend for groups that need 3 bedrooms in Sintra!

The place was beautiful and very clean and tidy. She was very flexible when we asked if we could get in early due to a complication with our rental car return. She was always responsive when we asked questions. We definitely recommend this place to stay, it was wonderful.

Charming contemporary apartment in historic building and neighborhood. Easy to walk to popular site seeing areas, nice restaurants, and shopping. Right in the heart of things, but the apartment was quiet with the multiple glazed windows. Furniture and interior design were classic modern style, wood and natural fabrics. Large contemporary bathroom and efficient kitchen and dining area. We had our last night casual dinner a few blocks down the street that was amazing. We highly recommend the apartment and Lisboa!

I stayed at Carlos’s place in Lisbon for my birthday and it was a wonderful experience! Carlos was very friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. The house was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described—perfect for a comfortable stay. I really appreciated the warm welcome and the great location. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back!

Great house, great views. Well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. We would come back. (For small children of walking age, you have to consider that there are many stairs). We would come back.

A really nicely done space that was pleasant to stay. Quiet & relaxing. Great host! Even gave us Americans our extra needed coffee 😎. Able to cook there too. Nice small market next door. Several typical restaurants on the same block. Close drive to the beautiful Comporta beach area. At dusk, there are a lot of mosquitoes outside, so bring bug spay.

Wow!! What a gorgeous house, so peaceful, beautifully and tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. The back garden and surrounding town is stunning. Thank you Anabela, your hosting, thoughtful gifts and quick communication made our first night in Portugal a highlight. Wish we had stayed longer, will definitely return if we come back to Portugal!

We had a fantastic stay at Sofia’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. She took the time to personally meet us, brought us some fresh Pastéis de Belém and wine, which made our experience feel very special. Her instructions and recommendations were incredibly helpful, ensuring we felt comfortable and knew the best places to explore. Whether it was tips on local restaurants or guidance on how to navigate the area, her insights made our trip so much smoother. The space itself was cozy and well-equiped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The appartement is on 3 floors, there is 1 bathroom on 1st floor to be used for bedroom on 3rd floor. The other bathroom is within the masterbed room. We truly appreciate the personal touch and care that Sofia puts into hosting, and we would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a great experience. She also accomodated an earlier check-in as our flights arrived early morning.

we were there for three nights. we really liked it. we had our own little house with everything you need. the kitchen is super equipped and there is a private terrace with lots of greenery. the garden is beautifully landscaped we even had fresh eggs from the chickens living there. If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

As noted earlier, we loved your home! Very comfortable and we loved all of the windows. Would definitely recommend it to friends traveling in this area of Portugal!

We had a wonderful time at Franz’s home. The kids loved playing with the toys, we enjoyed the garden and pool as well. The location was perfect. Just a few minutes walk to shops, great restaurants and several wonderful beaches. Frank was super responsive and gave us lots of great local recommendations. We didn’t end up having a car, but it was super easy and affordable to get round and take day trips using Uber. I’d highly recommend this stay!

Our stay at Ana and Paula's apartment was just great. The location is perfect – just minutes to the beach and to the charming village center with lots of great restaurants. Ana and Paula were responsive at all times and very helpful when we needed support. We felt completely comfortable. Clear 5+ stars!

This was the perfect “home away from home”, ending our Portugal adventure exactly how we wanted to. A quiet “hide-away”, beautifully furnished and decorated, gorgeous and comfortable patio area… very private! While not in the centre of Lisbon, we were a short ( and inexpensive!) Bolt/Uber drive away from all we wanted to see. And then coming back to our quiet retreat at the end of the day was exactly what worked for us. Lucinda was so extremely helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this lovely spot 😊

From the moment we arrived, the host's warm welcome set the tone for a delightful stay. The apartment itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, featuring comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with essentials like coffee, tea, and laundry supplies. Public transportation was easily accessible, with metro stops just a short walk away, making it easy to get around. Ana was great and so was her place!

The building is like a hotel, easy to find and and get in, it was clean and spacious. Ling is very helpful and kind, answered us fast! There are restaurants and an amazing market near and easy to get anywhere in the city. I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Rafa’s apartment. It is clean, bright and sunny, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We walked down to the historic center each day; it’s about a mile walk so wear comfortable shoes. The only difficulty we had was finding the correct building in the complex when we first arrived. We called Rafa and he immediately assisted us in locating the building. As it turned out, the building number (the address as listed in the booking) is above the double glass building entrance doors. Once we located the building, the self check in was very easy. Rafa is a very responsive, helpful, and friendly host. We can’t wait to come back!

This is an excellent property with a great view and private heated pool with terrific outdoor space and chaise lounges. There is also a great coveted outdoor living space/area.

This apartment is incredibly special. The history, the beautiful old details. If you want a one-of-a-kind experience in Lisbon, I highly recommend staying here. The location is perfect and the private outdoor space is divine. Comfortable rooms and spacious overall. Will stay again!
