French Rural Retreat

Relaxing family and dog friendly Gite with it's own pond, on the border of Brittany in a peaceful rural area. Great for local walking, cycling and fishing. Nearby is La Rincerie, which provides water activities including a wake park, a lido beach and cafe bars. Supermarkets are a short drive away. Two hours drive from the ferry at St Malo or one and a half hours from Nantes airport. We are near the towns of Craon, Rennes, Laval and Vitre. Your hosts live next door and have a few cats.

Séjour de 3 nuits à 7 personnes pour un long week-end. La maison est agréable, avec quelques points perfectibles (literie, oreillers, manque de volets), mais le ventilateur à l’étage a été bien apprécié lors des fortes chaleurs. Un grand merci à Claudine et Emmanuel, des hôtes chaleureux, attentionnés et toujours disponibles. On se sent vraiment bien accueillis. Idéalement situé si vous vous rendez à la Rincerie ou à La Basse Forterie. Le jardin est paisible, parfait pour se détendre… et les cerises sont un vrai régal !

Très bon séjour chez John. Une semaine en famille reposante comme nous le cherchions. La piscine est vraiment super, l'accès au lac et vraiment un plus avec un chien. John est un hôte très réactif en cas de questions. Merci John pour ce séjour

Nous sommes ravis de notre week-end dans le Gîte d'Emilie et Olivier, c'était vraiment un accueil chaleureux, un lieu magnifique et ressourçant. J'ai pu inviter ma famille le midi pour célébrer le cap de mes 40 ans entourée de nature, vraiment très très agréable. Tout a été facile, et les hôtes ont été très réactifs à nos besoins. Nous recommandons ce gîte les yeux fermés. Encore merci Emilie et Olivier. Nous aurons plaisir à revenir :) Capucine
