Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Élie-de-Caxton

The perfect place for a quiet and peaceful getaway! Would recommend this place to anyone looking to have all that they need under one roof and some added luxuries (hot tub, BBQ, fireplace - indoor AND outdoor, beautiful sunroom, loads of blankets). The small chalet was perfect for the two of us, but could certainly accommodate 4 guests. The main bedroom had a very comfortable bed, great view into the woods. The whole place felt like a warm hug. The hot tub was great both in the evenings with the sunset and in the morning with the early sun. The driveway into the chalet is not for a car with bare tires, but we managed no problem (would need to be careful when there are colder temps/snow/ice). Very quiet neighbourhood, though not very close to groceries/town. A bit of a drive to get to any shops, but didn't bother us. Stopped in on our way out or in. What a beautiful cottage, it has everything for a great time. From the fireplace to the cooking equipment, nothing is missing!!! The atmosphere is warm, you feel at home there. We took a walk on the frozen lake and it was beautiful to discover, certainly in summer. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Bianca and Samuel were able to accommodate me last minute and their place was better than I could’ve imagined! My husband and I wished we lived there and didn’t have to leave. Will definitely be looking forward to coming back again one day. Everything was better than expected from their listing.

We were a big group, the view in front of the lake was so nice! There is too much snow to be able to walk on the lake, the place looks like in the picture, however the bedrooms in the picture look bigger than the actual size. Everything is clean. The Dorwin park is just 7 minutes drive and have a walk there, very nice. I found the mattress a bit soft. Renato was very responsive and great host!

What a beautiful warm, spacious chalet, with a magnificent view. The outdoor property is also large and sunny. Sylvie and Leila respond quickly to messages. Convenience store nearby. We will be back without hesitation.

We used this venue for our company’s EOS introduction, and it was fantastic. The space was well-lit, beautifully furnished, and created the perfect environment for our session.

This place was even better than the pictures described. The hot tub at night looking up at the stars while the snow fell was incredible to experience almost every night we were there. The view of the lake was also beautiful. Really it doesn’t get more peaceful and relaxing than this place

We had a great time at Sophie's place! Great for 2 people, in a very quiet place, by the river, minutes from Shawinigan, we were able to rest and enjoy the beautiful Mauricie Park (about 30 minutes by car from the Saint Jean des Piles entrance).

Wonderful cottage! Very clean and beautiful. I would recommend for couples wanting to have a quiet stay.

My friends and I had an incredible stay at Spamania. Staying here each year in March has become a treasured tradition. The hot tub and saunas are just divine and contribute to the relaxing environment.

France and Carl were so lovely and kind. Carl was a great host and France was so knowledgable about the area. They greeted us with drinks and snacks, and upon our check out, they offered us coffee for the road. If you are visiting Quebec, come stay here! 💗

Veruska’s home was exactly as described, it was very comfortable, enjoyed the heated floors and fireplace. It was very well stocked, appreciated having some essentials (sugar), the kitchen had all the right cooking and serving dishes to make great meals. The beds were comfortable with great linens. I would definitely stay again and recommend. The views are beautiful and the location to the ski hill was great!

Very nice place with everything you need.

I rented the Zen 1 chalet by three nights, it is a perfect place to relax and disconnect from everything, full of vegetation and nature, and it is near Lake Taurus where you can do water sports and hiking. The bedroom, kitchen, toilet, relaxation room, all clean and well appointed, and there is room to park the car well too. Yes I enjoyed my stay there, I recommend renting it if you will stay in Saint-Zenon.
