Stéphane is a responsive, particularly flexible and amiable host. We contacted him because our arrival at another gîte was really disappointing. Half an hour later, we were already able to check in with him for what would be a wonderful week. The cottage is very functional, nothing to criticize. And indeed the view is fantastic. If you are looking for a gîte in peace and within walking distance of the bakery, shop, cafe and restaurant you are in the right place. Rustrel is pleasant to stay and a perfect base from which to explore the stretch. Recommended.

Elodie’s sense of style shows through in this waterfront apartment. As advertised it’s tiny but what does one need with that private terrace facing that amazing lagoon? The restaurants and bars are a few hundred yards away but far away from earshot and anything you need is drivable in minutes. The few questions we had Elodie promptly responded to which was appreciated.

This was truly a dreamy place to stay — it had the warmth of a home and postcard-perfect views. The space was quiet and comfortable, and the fully equipped kitchen with provided seasonings made our holiday absolutely perfect! A delightful surprise was meeting the host’s cat and dog, who added so much joy to our afternoon painting sessions. Although the host lives nearby, the space felt very private and peaceful. The indoor greenery was calming, and at night, lighting the candles prepared by the host created a cozy, cave-like atmosphere. We feel so lucky to have found this place — highly recommended to others!

We enjoyed our visit in this apartment and village. Excellent communication with Neil. Quiet, nice bed, pleasant terrace, good kitchen. Shower was good as was the hot water. There are stone stairs up to the gate; might be limiting for some; we were fine though. Right in the center of the village. Highly recommended.
