We were welcomed by Didier one night. It was warm and thoughtful because he bought us a “survival kit” for breakfast and recommended us the exceptional places to visit…this area is a real favorite. The cottage is great, you feel at home very quickly with the spacious living room and its superb fireplace, the comfortable bedding, as well as the hot tub that served every day. The outside is amazing, it's in the middle of the quiet greenery, where crickets accompany our days and evenings. The cottage is equipped for children…toys, books, bikes, swings and slides. A stone's throw from the Château de Bonaguil, it's easy to enjoy one of the most beautiful castles in the area as well as the restaurant downstairs. Didier, thank you so much for this week, it was perfect!

Very good stay, atypical accommodation as we were looking for, the best jacuzzi and its panorama, very welcoming host and good advice, and very clean accommodation.

If you're looking for a quiet oasis in the countryside, this is the place to be! The view is magnificent, the sunset a dream. The treehouse is comfortably furnished, in the kitchen there are the most important utensils so you can cook well at home. In the vicinity there are countless small tranquil villages, which are among the most beautiful places in France. In the preseason, some activities, such as canoeing, are usually not yet open, which did not bother us as we mainly focused on hiking and resting. Anne is a wonderful hostess - she was quickly available for questions and stopped by if necessary. Gladly again :-)

we stayed for a week in April with the three of us. We were the only guests but had a wonderfully quiet week. The house was beautiful, modern, robust with everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at april and max’s (4 adults and a 1 and 4 year old). The house is in a beautiful and peaceful setting with lots of lovely places a short drive away. April and Max were such warm and kind hosts - we had a minor incident with one of our children while on holiday and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed with great facilities - we felt it was better in real life than the pictures. We would definitely return if coming back to the area 😊

We had a great weekend at Laure's, at the dovecote. The setting is conducive to disconnection. The famous village Collonges la rouge is within easy walking distance and beautiful walks are to be taken. The accommodation, atypical, was clean and provided all the necessary equipment. A welcome organic apple juice was waiting for us. A big thank you to Laure for her communication, kindness and flexibility on our departure time. A beautiful place to decompress!

The environment of the house is exceptional there is no better way to get away from it all. Jacques was also a forward-looking, welcoming and attentive host. As for the house itself, there is nothing to complain about, it is comfortable and very well equipped. We'll be back with pleasure.

Very welcoming hosts in a great accommodation: very clean, very well equipped and close to many tourist spots. Only downside: a little noisy with the road but I highly recommend it

It’s all been said before but La Petite Burnie really is a gem. A lovely restoration of an old barn, really well equipped and with endless outside space so you can find the sun at any time of the day. Above all a really generous and welcoming host. Thank you Christian.

Ideal for visiting the beautiful sites of Périgord Noir. Mariette and Jacques are lovers , have a sense of hospitality which is rare nowadays! Everything is great: the setting, the typical house with character. Well equipped, welcome tray, good bedding, a beautiful fireplace very pleasant in the evening! We recommend 100% for those who want to have a good simple and true holiday. Special mention for the welcome of our 2 dogs. We will be back next year as we did not have time to thoroughly visit the surroundings so rich in heritage. Thank you again

We loved staying here a week for our anniversary. Suzy & Steve were fantastic hosts, always on hand to answer any questions and provide recommendations. The cottage was perfect for what we needed and everything had been thought of. The pool area was an added treat and it was all really well looked after. The fizz and homemade cake on arrival was a lovely touch. We enjoyed exploring the nearby towns/villages as the surrounding area is beautiful, particularly Brantom, but was very quiet “off peak” (if that’s what you like). Many thanks to Suzy, Steve & Alfie for a great stay!

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

We stayed for 10 nights as 5 adults and 3 kids all under the age of 5. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the size of space and facilities available were excellent and we felt right at home. The cellar was a big hit with the adults and we all enjoyed the pool day and night. Plenty of nice villages and towns within driving distance if you want to get out and explore which we did on several occasions. Rachel will keep you right with plenty of local tips and info she’s a great host. I’m sure we will be back, thanks again

Serges is very nice and prepares the house like a hotel. The photos totally match reality. The house has 5 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, offering good independence to all. The accommodation is extremely quiet with a very pleasant setting for a weekend with loved ones or for sightseeing. Great stay, I recommend it👌.

Our holiday at Morganes House was SO perfekt. I lost my husband four months ago and I needed the peace together with my children and this house was more than perfect for this - so thank you.

It is a great and homely furnished home. Lots of privacy, and beautiful views from really any space! We immediately felt at home. At the beginning we had a request to Nathalie, which was immediately arranged for us, really great. In short: highly recommended, also because it is a perfect base for the area between the rivers Dordogne and the Vésère, near the beautiful town of Sarlat.

We had a great time: the house is very beautiful, well located, and very quiet (15 min walk to the city center). The rooms are very well furnished, and everything is prepared "like at a hotel": towels, shower gel, tissues, etc. The kitchen is brand new and very well-equipped: nothing missing! Only one downside: the pool was not "in service" (it only works from May), and this detail was not given to us at the time of booking. It's a shame because we were lucky enough to have weather worthy of July, and a little dip at the end of the day would have been much appreciated.
