  • Jenny’s place was perfect for our weekend of visiting sirromet winery for a day on the green, very close to the winery and only a half hour from Brisbane.     The flat is close to public transport, parks, marina, beach, cafes, restaurants, shopping mall and hospitals. You’ll love the flat because of the location, total privacy, and has everything you need for your stay. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The entire groundfloor flat will be available (living/TV room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette (induction hot-plate w/saucepans, electric frypan, microwave, fridge, toaster, electric jug) washing machine/dryer & pateo.
    We have a two-story townhouse. We live in the upper story. The entire private ground-floor flat will be available for our guest with separate entrance door. It comprises : 1) a comfortable living and TV room with an electronic reclining Media Chairs, 55" 3D Plasma TV, Blue-Ray DVD Player. Please note : reclining sofa is not to be used as bed. There is a folding bed you can request if needed. 2) nicely furnished queen bedroom with an alarm-clock, radio/cd player, table lamp, laptop desk, fan or heater. There is also a 2-door build-in wardrobe with hangers and shelves. Towels and linen are provided. 3) bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin. Body wash, shampoo/conditioner are provided. Hair dryer and iron upon request 4) kitchenette with induction hot-plate and two saucepans, microwave, fridge, toaster, electric jug, cutlery and crockery. Optional washing machine and dryer are available (small fee applicable.) 5) ground-floor patio with table, chairs and a 3-piece cane outdoor setting. We will expect that you will feel very comfortable in this fully self contained flat with heating/ remote control ceiling fan and boxed fan. Free Wireless broadband is available for your use. Public Transport: There are buses with bus stops right outside our front door connecting to shopping precints in either direction Victoria Pt. (3 min) or Cleveland (2 min.) The train from Cleveland station to the city takes 55 mins. Location: We are south east of Brisbane, overlooking Stradbrooke Island with bay views and refreshing bay breezes. There are many cafes & restaurants in the Raby Bay Marina/Cleveland and Lakeside in Victoria Pt. Within 5 minutes you can find Medical/Dental clinic, Mater (private) and Redland (public) Hospitals, Movie theatre, Performing Art Centre, Library, Shopping centre and supermarkets nearby. Ferries to the Islands are close by. The Gold Coast could be reach less than an hour offering some of the best beaches in Australia and theme parks (Dreamworld, Wet & Wild, Seaworld, Movie World) and to Sunshine Coast in approx. 1h 1/2.
    There are several parks where you can ride bicycles, run, walk. Boardwalk is 10 min. walk from here. There is also a small beach where you can swim.- 3 min. drive. Ferries to islands are close by.

    Seawater is a Double story brick home on 3000 sq/m surround by lawn. You will have your own areas downstairs that are separate from the upstairs area (where hosts live). Their is a outside BBQ/ lounge area for guest to use Unit Has A/C in Lounge area Deluxe King Size Bed in bedroom 2 single sofa beds with spring mattresses in the Lounge area. Bus 250 metres, Shops 1.5klms This is a NON SMOKING HOUSE. NO PETS, NO PARTIES. Our House is on the Mainland.
    Our House is set on 3000sq/m ( 3/4 of a acre) of open lawn and gardens. We have large fruit trees and a spectacular Leopard tree which graces our front lawn. The flat is in the lower floor of our house which is of double brick construction , making it naturally cooled in the warmer months and warm in the winter. Their is reverse cycle A/C in the unit and this cools and heats the whole unit their are Wall Fans in Lounge and Bedroom. The Bathroom is fitted with assistance rails at both the toilet and shower, and a wall mounted ceramic heater, making idea for older travellers as well as younger people but is not wheelchair friendly. As Grandparents we also have available a folding cot and travel high-chair and stroller for a younger baby and a big fenced back yard suitable for a game of bocce, backyard cricket or just a run around for children to have a game. The outside covered area has a lounge setting and table and chair setting as well as a bbq with side burner and a full gas oven in it. Their is a spa and you are welcome to use it. You will be the only guest(s) while staying with us, and your accommodation, which suits 1-2 people perfectly but can accommodate a second adult couple or up to two children on our sofa beds ( maximum of 4 people + a infant). Both sofa beds are of single bed size with spring mattress and mattress topper for a comfortable nights sleep. These are in the lounge kitchenette area of the flat. Your accommodation includes: • Private bedroom with King size bed , desk & 32" TV / DVD – inc. linen • Lounge room contains 2x2 seater sofas which convert to 2 single sofa beds - inc linen • Private living/lounge room with 32" TV, CD/ Radio system and access to outside patio area • Private bathroom (shower), toilet & Vanity with large mirror and Hairdryer. • Your living area is situated on the ground floor, while our own main living quarters are upstairs. • Kitchenette with Coffee, tea & toast making facilities, small fridge, microwave, cooktop & basic equipment. • cable internet connection OR a wireless connection available to use • Access to washer & dryer on request. • Ironing facilities in room • Hooded Bar-B-Q with side burner and gas oven, and Spa in covered area • Continental style breakfast - Cereal, Bread, Milk, Fruit, Jams and spreads.     Our home is at Thornlands in the Redlands City Area. We are only minutes away (1.5km) from Victoria Point and the local shopping centres, supermarkets, 28 restaurants and numerous casual eateries and cafes, 9 screen cinema, pubs, clubs, boutiques, and buses are a easy walking distance. Their are trains from Cleveland (7km away to the city) , and to Victoria Point waterfront for swimming (Thompson beach and Point O"Halloran) and various parks are 5 minutes drive away. At Victoria Point you can get a boat/ ferry ride to Coochiemudlo Island with lovely sandy beaches. Both Redland Bay & Cleveland are less than 10 minutes drive away where you can get access to the Bay islands from the ferry terminals for North Stradbroke Island ( You will have to book to use the car Ferry and it is around $190+ return for a car). Capalaba is less than 15 minutes away and has major shopping malls with Carindale, Logan Hyperdome and Garden City are all within an easy half hour drive. Redland Bay has an 18 hole golf course, Victoria Point Bowls club and Sirromet Winery are close by. Easy access to Brisbane or the Theme Parks and Gold Coast.

  • We used this AirB&B to have a close by place to stay for a concert at Mt Cotton (Sirromet Wines - a day on the green - cold chisel). It is ideally located and so perfectly clean and tidy. We had Foxtel, Aircon, a comfortable bed and a perfect little couples nest. We will be using it again for future “Day on the Green” stays.

  • When we first arrived, Courtney welcomed us warmly. She provided bread, milk and Jam. Best bread I've ever had!! Which saved us because we were too tired from a long flight to go the store. Overall the studio had everything we needed, it was a cozy place to call home during our stay. It has a bus stop right outside, which is live saving when you don't have a car. We had 100% privacy and it also was very quiet. The most important thing for me was that there were no insects or spiders, the studio was completely clean. Also she was so sweet and kind!! We had a really nice time and would definitely come back. Thank you for being such a wonderful host, Courtney.

The bed was super comfortable and at night it was nice to lay in bed and watch some Netflix on the TV. It was a short distance to the city centre as well as beaches. Courtney and her family truly went above and beyond for us, and we’re so thankful for all the help they provided to us during our stay!   • This place is great in every way. Great location, great value and great place. It has everything that you need; a functional kitchen with cutlery and dishes, a washing machine and air conditioning. The place itself is surprisingly big with 2 separate bedrooms. Easy for just taking it easy or a great starting place for a look around Brisbane. The small touches are there too; detergent and sponges for the kitchen, laundry liquid and pegs and handwash liquid and towels for the bathroom. Thanks for everything!

    A self-contained unit finished to a high spec; the unit features a large bedroom with room to sit and with queen bed and new en-suite shower room. A brand new kitchenette, featuring 2-hob stove top, microwave, fridge and sink. The bedroom looks out over the pool. There is a private entrance to the unit, with a shared deck. The other airbnb is alongside, and shares the deck space only. There are separate entrances, and the 2 are locked off from each other.
    We have recently added a lounge room for relaxing indoors. The outdoor space and the animals provide a relaxing environment.
    The unit is close to Sirromet winery (3km), Victoria Point restaurants and shops are 4km away. Walking along the road opposite you will see wallabies and other wildlife every day. Cleveland and Raby Bay are 8km away. It is very close to the islands; an easy, quick drive to the ferries for North Stradbroke, Coochimudlo, Russell and other bay islands.

    Spacious, fully equipped, one-bedroom cottage located on 10 acres but still very accessible to Victoria Point, Mount Cotton, Redland Bay, Cleveland and the Bay Islands. . 30 mins from Brisbane, 45 mins from Gold Coast. 40 mins to the major Theme Parks. The space is probably best described as somewhere between a farmstay and a granny flat. We have some animals: horses, chickens, dog, cat, guinea pigs and budgies.
    We have some animals that guests are welcome to interact with or just relax on the verandah.
    We are in the Redlands, on the edge of the beautiful bayside, close to Redland Bay, Victoria Pt and Cleveland. It is easy access to the Bay Islands from here; Coochiemudlo, Stradbroke Island, Russell Island.... We are also walking distance (3km) down a quiet lane to Sirromet winery and other Mount Cotton attractions such as the Venman Bushland for walks, Skirmish and Paintball for active kids, Kindilan and Mt Cotton Hillclimb for car racing. We are 4km from Lakeside at Victoria Point - which has a main shopping centre and several nice restaurants.

  • I stayed in Judys place for one night because I was on placement in the area and I had a really lovely stay. There were so many thoughtful touches and the property was beautiful! Judy was very friendly and easy to communicate with but also gave me my space. I would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to stay in the Redlands area.

  • I arrived fairly late and left early but Judith's place was extremely clean, very large, private and in a delightful tropical surround. I took a quick drive in the morning up to Wellington Point and walked up and down King Island (recommend). I was also delighted to find in Clevland just a couple of minutes up the road a plethora of restaurants open on a sunday night as well as the IGA for supplies. Highly recommend this place Thanks Jude

The spa bath is a luxurious delight that our family used well, as we also did with the pool, and the special 'welcome back' touches she left for us were an absolute treat. There is everything you can think of for a wonderful, comfortable and relaxing gathering, the beds are super comfy and the entire experience is so good that this was our second family gathering at Debbie-Lyn's house. Excellent communication, ease of arrival and Debbie-Lyn was able to let us have both an early check-in and late check-out that was a perfect bookend to our frazzled arrival as we'd been stuck in flashflooding the night before. I would definitely recommend Debbie-Lyn's home for any event. Wonderful host and space.

  • Debbie-Lyn’s home is huge! Exceptionally clean and perfect for a family get away. We didn’t want to leave we had so much fun in the Swimming pool and playing on the billiards table. My children loved the outdoor toys. Everything was set up so nicely even having books for the children to read. I cannot recommend this listing high enough. It thoroughly exceeded our expectations. We’d love to stay again another time. Thanks for having us.

    Brand new granny flat. A perfect home base while visiting the family or the local attractions. Stradbroke Island with deserted crystal clear surfing beaches and beautiful white sand. Plenty of parks and play areas for the children. Natural environmental reserves. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping centres. 30min- Brisbane airport 10 min - Cleveland Hospital. 20 min- Sirromet winery. 10 min - Stradbroke ferry. 15 min - Sleeman Sports
    My aim has been to provide the best comfortable stay at a very reasonable price. Both bedrooms have queen size beds with plenty of hanging space. The bathroom is larger than normal. Fresh towels and linen is suppĺied. The food preparation area is in a real kitchen. Fully fitted out with pots, pans, glasses, cups, plates and a gas stove for cooking. A decent size fridge and front load washing machine is included. Fully air conditioned.
    Directly across the road are large gum trees where Koala's can be seen occasionally during mating season. There is a large park 5 min down the road where you can fish, have a bbq and a play gym for the kids. The neighbourhood is very quite and relaxing.

    We're lucky enough to be in a very friendly neighborhood. Neighbors on all sides wave and say hello and there are often people out and about exercising, walking dogs or just enjoying the beautiful South East Queensland weather. We have near by Thai, Indian & Chinese restaurants as well as a number of fast food chains, a great butcher, a Woolworths and a number of other shops a 10 minute walk away in the Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre.

The cabin is air conditioned and fully screened so the tropical Queensland heat won't effect your peaceful nights sleep. Expect to be awakened by the sounds of the many birds that enjoy our very own Australian rainforest bushland, which sits next to the cabin.
    We are ideally located in a quiet bushland setting but yet so close to so many fun things to do! A great size inside and out, to relax and unwind after a busy Christmas period with our family and friends in Brisbane, before our return to Melbourne. We would love to return to Heidi's apartment again and would highly recommend it, as a quiet getaway, close to Ferry terminal to North Stradbroke Island, a local cafe and the RSL which served a great meal. Just a pleasant 20 minutes walk , or minutes by car, takes you to "the Point", a beautiful recreation area right on the bay, where you can swim, walk out to King Island or participate in any number of water activities. There are public barbecues and "fish and chips" and excellent coffee are available at the Point of View cafe.

  • This lovely cottage at Wellington Point was our home for 2 nights. The location is fantastic and we walked everywhere. The village is just around the corner and the recreation area at the point was a pleasant 25 minute walk. Very private and safe with off street, undercover parking and an electronic gate for extra security. Peaceful and serene and wonderful birdsong in the morning. Lovely hosts who we enjoyed chatting to. Lots of little surprises left for guests and nice herbal teas to choose from. A stylish space has been created and it is nice and light and airy by day and block out curtains for night which helped us sleep in for the first time in ages. We hope to stay again as it was very relaxing and we highly recommend to other travellers.

  • I went to Brisbane for the first time. And We had stayed for three days. The first feeling was a very cozy and relaxing house. It was a very well chosen guest house. The morning from third day there was a lot of rain and the wind blew hard. The cyclone came. In the morning, Joe told me to be careful about driving. The house does not always end up laughing.   • April's place was perfect for my stopover on the way to Stradbroke Island. The room is comfortable with lots of light and a great bed with super-soft linens. The best feature however is the generous outdoor space which includes a covered patio with a daybed and dining table, plus a pool with gardens. April was very easy going about me having a few friends over for dinner and it was lovely to have all that space to relax in. There are simple breakfast provisions which made the morning easier. April was very easy to communicate with and (with advance notice) was able to offer me a later checkout. It was a really pleasant surprise when she also offered a lift to the ferry terminal. One note - the bathroom is not en suite but down the hall and around the corner. It's easy enough to get to but I wasn't entirely clear on that from the listing. Overall, the space is light and comfortable and the hospitality outstanding.

Part of the Redlands koala precinct and myriad of bird life and other wildlife like the glider, it's a hub for nature lovers. With shopping centres nearby and a myriad of restaurants, fast food outlets and food delivery options like Uber Eats, both entertainment, dining and shopping is on our doorstep. Catch the ferries to Bayside Islands from neighbouring suburbs. Walk to King Island at low tide or enjoy seafood on the beach at Cleveland Point or many other beachside locations. Walk boardwalks through natural wildlife and flora habitats, or jog or cycle along beach side pathways. Opt for a picnic on the water, or enjoy a day at Streets Beach at Southbank, Brisbane city. Very well appointed apartment and the lounge and bed were soo comfortable, what a treat! Nice little touches, well stocked start-up items in pantry and fridge. Lovely bathroom with rain shower-head, which was so nice. We made short trips over to Stradbroke Island, from Cleveland and so the location was ideal for us. Would highly recommend!

    Peaceful house in garden setting with pool. 35 minutes from Brisbane airport and CBD. North Stradbroke Island ferry on Moreton Bay is five minutes drive. Guest suite on ground floor with separate entry, double bed and bathroom. Guests lounge and deck, kitchenette with microwave, fridge, coffee, tea & toast provided. One double bed in 2nd guest bedroom upstairs if requested. We live in the house. Please leave hall door open when you’re out so we can access shared laundry. Small pets welcome.
    Our home is in a quiet garden setting, with a guest lounge and private covered deck area. A fire pit is available in the back garden, with fruit and vegetable gardens producing throughout the year.
    Cleveland is a suburb of Brisbane on Moreton Bay. Ferry to beautiful North Stradbroke Island from here, or a 15 minute drive to Redland Bay ferries to other islands. The Sirromet Winery has fine dining in two restaurants, and hosts outdoor events such as A Day on the Green.

  • Helen and Norm made my dog and I very welcome. You could tell immediately they love dogs and their home is very dog friendly. My dog loved exploring their big back yard whenever we were there and visiting with them when they ate. I thought the private space was fantastic. It was like a mini apartment inside their house with a private entrance, laundry/kitchenette with the basics supplied, a large bedroom and bathroom and an entrance from inside their house which you could lock for more privacy. I enjoyed reading and eating my meals in the comfortable sun room and sitting on the deck in the evening sun. Helen and Norm were very accommodating with the shared areas like their kitchen, deck and BBQ if you needed to use them and you just had to ask if you needed anything. They are very friendly and easy to chat to. If I go to Brisbane or North Stradbroke Island in the future Helen and Norm's will be the first place I try. I would highly recommend their home to anyone heading to the area.

    This apartment is 128 sq.m. It boasts a secluded balcony, complete with outdoor furniture to seat at least 8-10. It has (Premium) Foxtel, (high-speed) internet, luxurious furniture and everything else you might need. It is directly across the road from the train station/buses. It is directly across the road from the marina (restaurants and bars) and is a 3 minute walk to the town centre. The closest pub - take your pick. There are a few. All within 3 minutes walk.

The bathroom offers a spa and separate shower. Carpets are new and the furniture is luxurious - nothing cheap or nasty. There is another toilet and a separate laundry also.     Ideally facing NE on Moreton Bay, this spacious, self-contained studio has high ceilings, marble floors, fully equipped kitchen, sea and island views with cooling summer breezes. Relax, walk, play golf, fish or use as a base and with separate entry you can come & go. The bayside walking path leads to the golf club (400 m) or pub, village shops & ferry (1 - 1.5 km). It's only 40 mins by car from the City, Airport, Gold Coast and hinterland rainforests. A discount applies for multiple nights.
    The studio apartment is an independent part of our home and is the only living area on the ground floor. It is modern and tastefully furnished. It can be open to enjoy the views and bay breezes or snug and private with the block-out curtains closed. The granite patio is yours to enjoy with an adjustable shade awning, manicured garden and those views of the bay as the tide goes in and out. The apartment is more spacious and light than the photos indicate as I've been told by many guests. It has high ceilings, marble floors and bathroom, high quality fixtures, curtains and paintings. It has a fully equipped kitchenette with convection- grill microwave & toasted sandwich press. There’s also a free electric barbecue down by the water in front. The bathroom is equipped with shampoo, conditioner and soaps as well as towels. There are beach towels for taking out on trips to Coochie or Straddie. The sofa faces the TV and DVD, as well as the view, with surround sound and some DVDs are provided for your use. We have a few more upstairs. There are also books about the area and an assortment of novels. The bed is Queen sized with cotton sheets, a quilt and cotton blanket and an assortment of pillows to suit everyone. The floors are natural marble which is absorbent and easily etched by acids such as fruit juice and scratched by sand and any hard surface. We'd ask that you please wipe your shoes well on the front mat and avoid bringing in sand and dragging or rolling cases or furniture on the floor. There is a security screen on the sliding glass door beside the bed that can be left open except when wind & rain are expected. The louvres near the kitchenette and the ones in the bathroom are also security screened and can be left open for flow through ventilation at all times. The ceiling fan provides extra air movement when it's hot or the air conditioner can be used of a day time. At night the air conditioner compressor unit is a bit noisy up in our living area and for the neighbours, so unless it's a very hot night, so we'd ask you to use it sparingly (see Rules). There’s a folding arm awning over the patio area for adjustable shade in summer. The granite patio has table and chairs to enjoy breakfast, read a book or just the enjoy the view and breezes. The manicured lawn and gardens enhance the experience. Parking is over the road, in the driveway or in the garage by arrangement. We can be accessed for assistance via the intercom in the apartment or at our front door round the side of the house. We live above and will endeavour to keep our noise to a minimum for your comfort and give you as much privacy as we can.
    Our neighbourhood is safe, friendly and everything convenient is close, but out of sight & hearing! We are 40 minutes by road from the airport, Brisbane City and the Gold Coast in what was a farming village. I include a things to do page in your information pack: Across the bay is Queensland's best and most little known gem(other than to locals):- North Stradbroke Island, where you can get close and see dolphins, turtles, manta rays, other marine and land wildlife such as koalas, wallabies and goannas every day and even whales in season. Closer in on the bay is Coochiemudlo Island where there's a safe sandy swimming beach and you can hire a kayak or paddleboat on the weekends or school holidays. There are also the Southern Moreton Bay islands to explore. All of the islands are reached by passenger and vehicle ferries from Redland Bay, Victoria Point or Cleveland. You will have an information page on things to do on the reverse of your welcome and I've included maps, ferry timetables and other information in the folder.

Cathy and Lindsay are exceptional hosts with great kindness, generosity and lots of little touches ... milk, fresh water, fruits picked from their garden, cereals, bread ... everything was there. our arrival. The apartment is modern, very well equipped, impeccably clean and very comfortable. The pedestrian path is superb by the sea, there are a multitude of birds to observe but tranquility is the number one point of this place.     Location is in a quiet street, just one street back from the beach and close to Golf Course. Approx. 500 metres from the ferry terminal, but we are almost always available to pick you & your luggage up.
    There are many activities to pursue here on Coochie; a pleasant 9 hole golf course you can use anytime on an honour system $10, clubs are available. We are so fortunate to have a top class restaurant here "The Red Rock Cafe", A Beauty Spa set in an attractive, restful space, A corner Kiosk that serves tasty homecooking & the usual snacks. Canoe & bicycle hire & of course the obvious - swimming, fishing & walking.
