***We are happy to announce that the Micro Cabin made it on 604now's 2020 BC Bucket List*** Come see why we're one of the most wish-listed Airbnbs in the Pacific Northwest, as featured in Cottage Life and Canadian Living magazines! The Micro Cabin is nestled on a heritage homestead surrounded by lush garden and towering cedars. The ocean and the hobbit village of Roberts Creek are two minutes away. Enjoy a solo retreat or a relaxing getaway for two while trying out tiny house living!
We are very proud to be the highest-rated listing and one of only a handful of Airbnb-verified properties on the Sunshine Coast! LAST-MINUTE AND SAME-DAY BOOKINGS: The Micro Cabin is kept ready for guests so if you need a place to stay (even on very short notice), go ahead and use the "Instant Book" feature. Our calendar is always up to date, too! The 125-square-foot Micro Cabin was inspired by the tiny house movement. Guests should be aware that this is a tiny cabin, which means -- it is a tiny cabin! The space is small but bright and airy, with high ceilings and lots of windows and natural light. We think you'll find it to be carefully laid out and thoughtfully appointed. In the winter the cabin stays very warm and cozy, even on the coldest nights. We are very close to the ocean so it seldom gets very cold here and rarely snows. The full-size bed is made up with 100% cotton linens to ensure a good night's sleep. The kitchen is well stocked with all that you need to make something delicious. The bathroom is a fully tiled wet bath like that on a boat. There is plenty of outdoor space here on our private acreage to sit and daydream or finally start writing that novel. Relax at the picnic table with a mug of hot tea and watch the sunrise or gaze at the stars. If you're lucky you might see one of our resident deer and her two fawns wandering around the property. Black bears live here, too! Our small homestead is one of the oldest in Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast. We live on the property in the original farmhouse that was built in 1926 for the area's first school teacher. We look forward to sharing our slice of paradise with you.
Roberts Creek is a whimsical ocean-side haven for nature lovers, artists, and forward thinkers. If you consider yourself any of these, you'll fit right in around here!
  • Karen's tiny cabin is super cozy and makes for a perfect quiet getaway! I spend 3 days there by myself and had a great time either staying in with a book, or exploring the area :)

  • Karen will make sure you feel at home. Loved all the details and thoughtful touches. We found very helpful all the tips and the quick responses. Great value and awesome experience.

  • We loved our stay! I can't recommend this place enough. This beautiful tiny home is just the right size for a weekend getaway for two. It had everything you needed. We arrived to cold beers in the fridge and a personalised card welcoming us. It's a short walk to a quiet beach, 20 minutes to the local cafe and a 10 minute drive to Gibson's. I can't wait to stay here again.

    Victoria2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay in the cozy cabin. Karen was a great and very accommodating host.

Crowe's Nest has incredible views of the Sechelt Inlet and gets all the afternoon sun. The beach is a three minute walk downhill, and our community is very quiet as it sits at the end of the road. Why not come and relax for a few days?
Our cabin has a wonderful view of the Sechelt Inlet. And it is all yours to enjoy. It has a very open layout on the inside. It has one bedroom, also with an ocean view, a full kitchen, a reading nook, and a large, private balcony out front. The cabin is situated very close to the end of the road that it lives on (10kms from the town of Sechelt), so there is little to no traffic to disturb your time away. Be careful, you may have the best sleep of your life here. There is oodles of hiking and mountain biking nearby (Coast Gravity Park is just up the road) as well as plenty of events and festivals to be enjoyed, especially during the summer months. Our cabin is a perfect retreat for anyone interested in experiencing the best of British Columbia. Two people can be accommodated very comfortably, but as well there is a pullout couch in the living room that can sleep two more! Pets are welcome, please let us know if you plan to bring one.
Our cabin is in Tuwanek which is situated very close to the end of the road that runs north along the east side of the Sechelt Inlet. Beyond Tuwanek there is little else besides wilderness, accessed only by plane or boat. As a result, it is very quiet up here with little to no traffic. Right below us is the Tuwanek spit, which is often abuzz with divers. There is a second beach a short walk away that's a little more kid-friendly and easier to swim. Behind us up the logging road is Mount Richardson and Tetrahedron Provincial Parks, which have plenty of trails and even a series of cabins that can be stayed in for the more adventurous type. It is advisable to have a rugged vehicle to get up there, and definitely chains if attempting in winter. About a five minute drive back towards town is Hidden Grove which has a very lovely, and easily accessible set of trails to be enjoyed by all. And another couple minutes towards town you will find Porpoise Bay Provincial Park which has a fairly nice, sandy beach and is pleasant to visit during the summer months. There is of course plenty more to see and do further away on the Coast. A few highlights include a nice hike about forty minutes from here at Smugglers Cove, hiking/snowshoeing up on Dakota Ridge, a nice drive through Madeira Park or Garden Bay, and a venture all the way to the end of the peninsula to see the standing waves at the Skookumchuck Narrows!
  • A fantastic cabin in a magical place. Beautiful view and beautiful neighborhood. The cabin has direct access from the street and is surrounded by trees so: easy access and private. 1min walk to the beach. Everything as described. Extremely happy with this stay.

    Sofiene2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing view, a really big terasse, a nice and warm cabin with all you need for 2...

    Joachim2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is absolutely perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. We are already planning to book it again! The reading nook was my favourite part. There is an amazing view of the ocean and trees off the balcony. The kitchen is spacious, and extremely well stocked with lots of spices. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom is clean and spacious, and there's a great wood burning stove with plenty of firewood.

    Sumair2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect spot for a weekend getaway! Look forward to coming back soon :)

    Sierra2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Enjoyed the fireplace and afternoon light.

    Alyssa2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The stay at the cabin was great. It felt very private and remote despite being just off the main road in a small subdivision. Looking out from the deck all you can see is water and trees and the landscape. The inside of the cabin was just a delight with the wood burning stove, small reading/relaxing nook, and very well-stocked kitchen.

    Ryan2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay here. Super cozy space in a beautiful location. Would definitely come back and stay here again.

    Breanne2020-01-10T00:00:00Z

We live next door and we are happy to answer any questions you have but the cabin and the garden area are very private. Tuwanek is famous for it's world class scuba diving and calm water kayaking and now downhill mountain biking with Coast Gravity Park just 6 minutes drive away. Feel free to bring your own kayaks, we can provide storage in the garden or you can rent them at the beach close by. The beach access is directly opposite our cabin where you will find paradise, it is perfect for sun lovers and provides safe swimming for all the family. There is another beach we call Tuwanek spit just a 5 minute walk away where you can watch amazing sunsets over the islets. Tuwanek is an amazing untouched hidden gem on the Sunshine Coast ....relax and unwind in our west coast cabin.
Tuwanek is a unique and beautiful waterfront village. Take a stroll around the Tuwanek 'loop' and take a peak at the westcoast style houses, cabin's and cottages. It's a place where the locals are friendly where fisherman bring in catches of crab and prawns on the beach and an area where children run free and safe. We are on the edge of the wilderness though so we ask all our guests to be bear aware!
  • Very great hot tub!

    Sandy2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful little cabin in a gorgeous location with a private little yard and adjacent creek. Great communication and descriptions to get to nearby beaches. Hidden Grove is a great place to visit nearby with well laid out trails and big trees to admire.

    Diane2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot, with a nice put together vibe. The coffee, hot tub, and overall set up! Amazing. Not only that but easy and fast communication. 🙂

    Matt2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here! Beach access is super easy and the area is beautiful. The space was very clean and serene. Wish we could’ve stayed a few more days.

    Breanne2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • The place was stunning, clean and perfectly arranged to make people feel like home instantaneously. There are board games in the cabin. We also enjoyed the hot tubs in the garden. The beach is only 5 minutes walking from the cabin. Annika was super reactive in replying to messages, and gave us all the information we needed during our stay. We had a great time, we will definitively come back!

    Aurélie2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great place to retreat for the weekend. Nice hot tub and a lovely cottage :)

    Mike2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is pretty well exactly as described. And the hot tub just outside the door, next to the stream - divine. Lovely place. I would definitely go back.

    Maria2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute little cabin - It was cozy, had lots of lovely touches, with a private entry next to trees and a stream, with a private hot tub. The location was great, perfect for lots of great hikes. The ambiance was perfect for our little family getaway - but would be a lovely romantic getaway spot too. Friendly quick easy communication. It was perfect. We’d for sure come again.

  • The Lilypad was the perfect place to spend our Babymoon. The place itself is so cute, cozy, and tranquil and the hot tub is a great touch. The bed was the MOST comfortable bed we have ever slept in while away. The kitchen comes well stocked and has all the utensils and items you would need. There is a closet filled with movies, books, and games to keep you entertained when the weather is cold or it's raining outside. The word that comes to mind when describing our trip is PEACEFUL. Exactly what we were looking for. Thank you again, Gary and Jen for a fantastic stay.

    Courtney2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay, close to Sechelt. Lovely beach down the road walking distance. Cozy retreat!

    Jade2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely place! We had so much fun although the weather wasn't great during our stays. My son loved to play inside hot tub!

    Bora2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time staying at Gary and Jen’s place and it was just as amazing as we remembered. The hot tub is definitely a highlight but so is the cozy fireplace and quiet surroundings. This is a true oasis and we will definitely be back!

    Whitney2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Lily Pad is a great spot to relax. Gary and Jen were quick to respond whenever we messaged them. Visiting in February, it was great to have the hot tub to sit in under the stars. The beds were very comfortable, and there were lots of towels for our indoor and outdoor use. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there was even a collection of dressings and condiments in the fridge. When we arrived, the deck and patio furniture had a lot of small branches and needles on them, but it's February, after all. Overall a very cozy and enjoyable place to stay.

    Bob2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really lovely time. It's a beautiful location. We enjoyed using the BBQ, and having dinner together.

    Bethan2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend staying at Lily Pad! It’s beautiful, well designed, and comfortable. Excellent location with an ocean view! And the hot tub just steps from the front door is wonderful! We had a hot tub in the morning in the sunshine as well as under the full moon with the starry sky.

    Kim2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay here! The cabin was warm and cozy. The king size bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed to stay in and cook. It was quiet and peaceful but not too far from town for grocery shopping and restaurants. The property was beautiful and so were the nearby hiking trails. The hot tub and fire were amazing after hiking all day. We definitely recommend staying here!

Private suite with ocean vistas and private hot tub. This well maintained property presents beautiful views of the Salish Sea. The well-appointed one-bedroom suite has its own entrance and features a large private deck with a barbecue.
Very private, clean and comfortable one bedroom suite. The suite, property and hot tub are for the exclusive use of our guests and is not shared with anyone during your stay. Children are most welcome however, please note that children 5 and under are not permitted in the hot tub.
Our property is located on the lower part of a dead end street. Driving down our street you will be greeted with a spectacular view of the ocean. Our property is a short 10 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Gibsons; Bonniebrook Beach and Ocean Beach Esplanade, a 5 minute drive to the Grocery store (and Starbucks), and a 8 minute drive to historic lower Gibsons.
  • The word ‘suite’ made me think twice - perhaps my English sensitivities - but I read the reviews and thought let’s go for it! My boyfriend and I just wanted a quiet secluded break away from it all and we so loved everything about Edda and Heiko’s place! They were so friendly and efficient during the booking and the suite is perfect - and then there’s the hot tub! Wow! Great value for money and highly recommended!

    Martin2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Edda and Heiko have a beautiful place. The suite has everything you could need to have a relaxing trip.

    Mark2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodation of Edda and Heiko is as it is in the description. The communication was flawless. It was super clean there and we felt very comfortable. All in all a great time for us.

    Torsten2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Exceeded expectations, so glad we found this little piece of heaven. Book it!

    Alexa2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • We got a warm welcome from Heiko and a brief tour of the place. The place was cozy and very attentive to detail. Beautiful view from the hot tub and lovely outside lights. Would definitely recommend!

    Jessa2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • The space was better than expected. The suite is pretty clean and the decoration is super relaxing. The hot tub is a super plus for sure. Edda and Heiko are amazing people, they have a wonderful hospitality. We loved the Gibsons community as well and we are planning to return!

    Gabriela2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay at Edda and Heiko's suite. The highlight is the large covered hot tub with an amazing view of the ocean looking south-west. The view of the sunset from the hot tub was worth the price of admission on its own. The suite itself is also excellent - very clean, stylish yet comfortable. Exactly as the pictures showed. The owners live upstairs, but privacy was not an issue at all. We saw them at check-in and never again. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Greg2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is by far one of the best stays we've had. We will definitely come back! Thank you so much Edda and Heiko, EVERYTHING was amazing!!!

  • Do not hesitate to book! Absolutely incredible experience from booking to check out. Stephan and Ivan’s hospitality goes unmatched- simply the best air bnb experience my partner and I have ever had. Beautiful cabin, amenities, dock on the water! Thank you again!

    Meghan2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The treehouse is a wonderful place to get away from it all - but with all the comforts of home. The hosts have gone out of their way to provide wonderful little touches: a few much-needed grocery items, home-baked cupcakes, cozy bathrobes, even chocolates on our pillow when we checked in! The place itself is sweet. Comfortable, clean, with a full kitchen, TV with a bunch of movies on DVD, lovely soaker bathtub. And the outdoor hot tub was exactly what we needed after a long day of hiking. Stephen is a great host (we sadly didn’t have a chance to meet Ivan) - even driving over to pick us up at the bus stop when we arrived. Each day Stephen texted us to make sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet getaway - this is the place. We’ll be back.

    Charles2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Treehouse did not disappoint! It is comfortable, cozy and surrounded by stunning nature. We loved the hot tub and the views from it. Stephen is the perfect host. He was quick to respond and had a great list of recommendations for us. It’s a place we will definitely return to.

    Tanya2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful spot, great private accommodation, loved the fireplace and the hot tub. Lovely place for a very quiet winter getaway.

    matt2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This beautiful Airbnb was spectacular in all ways. It’s secluded, yet not far from town location, tranquil dock, lovely cottage and kind, accommodating host made my stay truly outstanding. The space showed outstanding attention to detail and cleanliness.

    Kristin2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Stephen was very communicative and thorough. He gave us amazing tips about the area and recommended two outstanding hikes. Our car didn't start one morning and he came down to help. Our suite was spacious and cosy, hot tub is a nice add-on!

    Thomas2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a must to visit! The place is magical, and a great getaway close to Vancouver. Stephen made our stay a thousand times amazing with all his details, personal touches and attentiveness. Be sure that if you book at tree house you will have an amazing host and an unforgettable experience. We will be coming back in the summer and become regular guests at tree house!! We had a memorable time and the cottage is sparkling clean, with all the amenities and special touches! Thank you for hosting us at your place!!

    Francisco Jose2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Do not hesitate to book this place! The cottage was spotless and so cozy, and Stephen is a great host.

  • This place amazing !!!! Minutes away from a beautiful beach where my husband and I Spent lots of time, the house is filled with amazing vintage items, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom is the cutest thing ever the bathtub is to die for. We went in the end of February but are planning on returning in the summer and bringing our children and we are very excited to see what the property looks like with all the trees full of leaves, green grass and flowers. Highly recommend this place ! This couple has created a beautiful little getaway.

  • Stylish and cozy cabin with unique touches. Was roomier and brighter than we were expecting, and the wood stove and hot tub were so welcome for our winter visit. Shirt walk to the gorgeous beach that we had to ourselves each time we visited. Recommend staying here!

  • What a great place to escape the city! The cabins are wonderfully rustic, quiet, and private, yet with all the creature comforts. With a brand new sauna and yoga studio, this could practically be a personal spa in the woods. Highly recommend a visit if you are looking for a place to unwind.

    Oliver2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cabin 2 was great! During a windy weekend the wood stove kept us warm and cosy. It was a peaceful place to read, play music and cards. Reg welcomed us when we arrived and made himself easy to get ahold of when necessary. We will definitely be back to Wildwood!

    Daniel2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay in the cabin. Everything was perfect : the accommodations, the decoration, the services and the fireplace. We loved spending our days by the fireplace playing bord games (available in the cabin). Thanks to Reg. He is incredible. He helped us to make our first fire, he is very friendly. He offered us some eggs that his child did the day we were there. And he gave us a list of recommendations to do in Bowen Island. Special mention for the view next to the cabane and for the magnificent sunset. We highly recommend this experience and Airbnb.

    Elise2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Reg was an awesome host, and this Cabin exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully built and tucked away in the trees surrounded by nature. Between the wood burning stove, board games and cozy cabin touches we wanted to take full advantage of our time there and ended up cooking all of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen. We were so grateful to find a place we could bring our dog along , there was so much wooded space on the property for her to explore. One other huge bonus of this place is the up the hill behind the cabins is a beautiful ocean viewpoint with several big Adirondack chairs to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets. Everything about it was perfect, and we cant wait to come back!

    Stephanie2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Reg was a great host! My husband and I had an amazing time is these cute cabins. We were wanting a quote week away in nature and that’s exactly what we got. He was very attentive, responsive and gave lots of local tips. His partner who taught the yoga classes on site was great as-well. She was very attentive and helped modify the classes for me as I am 6 months pregnant. It was very appreciated! Would 100% recommend and would stay again.

    Kayla2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • The rustic charm of the log cabin is perfect. Definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to disconnect and refresh. Nothing but good things to say about Reg and his little gem of log cabins. Very thoughtful of him to have everything ready with extras for surprise. Thanks a lot for a lovely stay. Also, what a pleasure to have coffee from Matchstick for our mornings. We will definitely be back☺️

    Valentina2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Reg was a great host! We loved staying in the cabin. Would 10000% book in again!

It really is a wonderful little spot to spend some time. Perfectly located, on the water a block from the local pub. Love it!

  • My fiancé and I needed a quiet getaway from the city and this tiny home exceeded our expectations. The views through the giant windows looking out to the beautiful scenery was beyond breathtaking. Jan and Sandra were very friendly and welcoming and made sure we felt at home. It was so peaceful and relaxing which is exactly what we needed. Sandra showed us the tiny home in great detail as well as the booklets that showed you all the hot spots to go amongst the islands. We leave now refreshed and renewed and would recommend this beautiful place to anyone who just needs some peace and quiet and spectacular/relaxing views. Thanks for your amazing home and hospitality Jan and Sandra!

The Roberts Creek Park Tiny bnb is located at the end of a quiet, private section of road, nestled into the giant cedars of Roberts Creek Provincial Park. Instagram view more photos @robertscreekparktinyhouse We just made it on the list for Canada.com 8 coziest tiny house rentals! https://beta.canada.com/travel/8-of-the-coziest-tiny-house-rentals-in-canada/wcm/02d6bbb8-cb2a-455e-8bb1-99e20681e315/amp/
**During this time we are taking extra precautions we have put away the natural cleaning products and are cleaning with bleach and Lysol. We pride our selves on the cleanliness of our rental and are doing what ever we can to keep it a safe place for guests to escape and relax. The tiny house is small at 170 square feet but has all of the comforts of home with lots of big windows. The loft has a pillow top queen size bed fitted with hotel quality linens. The spacious tiled wet room features a standup shower with hot water on demand, a flush toilet, and organic, biodegradable toiletries. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a great meal and is equipped with a built-in propane cooktop, pots & pans, mini fridge, a selection of teas, locally roasted coffee, cream, sugar and cooking oils & spices. Cozy up in the living space on the loveseat and take in the views of giant cedar trees in the park or Netflix and chill in front of the 24” T.V. with chromecast and high speed wifi. French doors off the living space open to your own private outdoor space which sits on the edge of the park with a propane BBQ, teak table & chairs, an elegant daybed and a fire pit (fire ban may be in effect during peak summer months). The tiny house is equipped with a unique silent convection heater that keeps the house warm and cozy even on the coldest winter nights while the windows and doors open up to keep it cool and comfortable on the hottest summer days. Black out blinds and curtains keep the morning rays out so you can sleep in. Crawl out of bed and throw on your guest robe and step out to your outdoor dining table and sip your locally roasted morning coffee while you watch the hummingbirds and robins do their morning routines. Every second summer the owls have their babies and they are often heard and seen all over the property and in the park. Same day and last minute bookings are always welcome for those spontaneous getaways. Just bring your toothbrush and a change of clothes and we will take care of the rest. Please note that as of June 15th, 2019 we completed the landscaping around the tiny house about one month ago so it is mostly established but it has not reached maturity to block all lines of site to the main house. That being said it is at the back of our property and we rarely go back there and never really need to. Our rates are set to reflect the evolving status of our landscaping.
Our private acreage backs onto the park with it’s own private trail to Moscrop Creek, which runs through our property and continues on into the ocean. At the end of the driveway is the head of the park with walking trails through the forest. Our nearest neighbour is campsite number one at the Roberts Creek Provincial Park campground through the forest and across the creek but only from June to September..
  • Cute little spot, cozy stay for two.

    Corey2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful space! Everything you might need is provided, and there were many thoughtful touches such as bread and eggs in the fridge and an extra space heater for the chillier nights. The sound of rain on the roof and the proximity to the forest made for a tranquil and endearing stay. Perfectly relaxing after a long day at work.

  • The Tiny house is the best! Has everything you need and a lo of very thoughtful extra gifts. The fireplace area outside is lovely and the location is incredible. The beach is close and stunning. Thank you Tiny House!

    Arturo2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place!! Highly recommend staying here. All the little touches make a huge difference in this tiny home. The bed is comfy, the stove works great. The hosts really know how to make you feel at home here. The self check in and check out is extremely convenient. I will be suggesting this place to anyone looking for a BC getaway. You have to go visit jeans organic grocery. Supports local business and BC/Canadian grown produce. The beach is a short walking distance (careful on the way back it’s all uphill). If you like firmer pillows, I suggest you bring one from home. I enjoyed the soft pillow but my BF struggled since he sleeps with a firm one.

    Bianca2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny house is an absolute gem! I booked this last minute escape and could not be happier to be surrounded by trees, and a short walk to the coastline and beaches. Cory's hospitality and impeccable decoration of the place made this a memorable stay. I would highly recommend staying here.

  • This tiny house was a gem on the Sunshine Coast. It is like youre camping, but in style, and it is so cozy in the winter when the rain falls on the roof. So much love has been put in the house, and it is sparkling clean. We had such a romantic time there, and it was nice to also be able to cozy up and watch Netflix. The location between Gibson and Sechelt is also awesome, and it is really close by to a lot of nice restaurants and beautiful hikes. Highly recommend!

We had the chance to catch up with them and go on a little roadtrip where they show us the beautiful sunshine coast. We loved our time there and the suite was such a cosy nest. So clean, confortable and beautiful heartwarming view on the morning when you wake up. We didn't want to leave! Thank you to both of you for being such nice host! Cheers

Delicious bread, coffee, local eggs, etc. Is a perfect place to be disconnected from the city but close enough if you want to go to Seachelt. • Great view. Can see straight across to Vancouver and all along the sea to sky.

  • My partner and I had a wonderful time. It was peaceful and relaxing. The only noise you hear are the birds chirping and the waves hitting the rocks. We put the hot tub to good use, several times a day we would sit and watch the ferries go by. Would definitely recommend. Nice and clean, nice and updated.

  • When I booked Li's home, I honestly thought that it couldn't actually be as nice as it was in pictures but somehow, it was even better. This is the perfect spot for a romantic weekend away or perhaps two friends looking to relax. When we weren't exploring the island, we were likely sitting in the hot tub watching the ferries pass by and enjoying the view. The house had all of the necessary amenities to cook our meals, and a bottle of red wine was left as a lovely touch. Extremely thorough instructions were left so I never had any questions and self check-in was a breeze. Location wise, we walked on/off the ferry and weren't bothered by the distances at all. It's about a 30 minute walk (mostly uphill) from the ferry so as long as you bring a backpack and grocery shop light, you should be fine. We also walked to the Killarney Lake trail for a lovely hike around the lake. We can't wait to plan our next visit!

  • The cottage was amazing!! Great location , privacy great view . We will definitely be back. Such a nice small town getaway, locals very welcoming. The hot tub and shower were great. We will definitely be back ..

  • This cottage was absolutely gorgeous! An absolutely stunning view from a private deck with a hot tub! The cottage itself was stylish and incredibly cozy, and the location is super close to all the shops and restaurants along with the ferry. Li was also kind enough to provide us with a bottle of wine for our stay! Hoping to come back soon!

  • Cat’s Meow is one of those AirBNB places you don’t want to say truly how great it is for fear of it getting overbooked. But truly, I can’t say enough about this place. Irina is an amazing host and that’s even without me meeting her! The house manual was detailed, the place was sparkling clean and sitting in the hot tub overlooking the mountains was surreal. Definitely a great place if you’re looking to unwind and find some peace. Oh and the bed is super comfortable!!!’n

Located between Gibsons and Sechelt with walkout access to Davis Bay beach. Perfect for a couple or small family, with a queen bed in the bedroom and a pull-out sofa bed in the living room.
Located right at the water's edge, our bright space features fir hardwood floors with radiant heat, natural gas fireplace and new furniture. Large French doors lead you directly to your private patio, lawn and beach. We have kept the space as open as possible to maximize daylight and views of the water and nearby Trail Islands. There is a kitchen with cooktop, fridge, microwave and toaster oven. We also now have a BBQ outside for guest use. The suite is the perfect getaway for a couple or family with children. There is one bedroom with an additional (small-ish) sleeper sofa.
Everyday we say to ourselves 'we live in paradise' and hope that while you stay with us you enjoy the community as much as we do. There is a great little bakery just a block from the house where you can grab a coffee and enjoy a stroll of the seaside Boardwalk. Not far from our home (7min drive) you can enjoy the amenities of Sechelt, a waterfront town that has lots to offer, sights, shopping, food and outdoor activities.
  • Great, true ocean-side spot. Gobsmacking views. Recommended.

    Andrew2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • The space was amazing and beautiful. We woke up with ocean wave sounds everyday. We also brought our own fire pit and burned firewood on the beach at night! Highly recommend!

The Seaview Cabin at Moulton Meadow Farm is the perfect escape for those wanting spectacular Ocean Views and complete privacy. This beautifully designed 250sqft cabin is rustic but luxurious in its appointments. It has a full sized deluxe kitchen for those of you who prefer to stay in and cook. A huge soaker tub and an incredibly comfortable queen sized bed in a loft setting. With wifi and Netflix you can both work and play to your delight!
Moulton Meadow Farm is a hobby farm on 14 acres with incredible Ocean and mountain views. We are a mere 7 minutes from town, the ferry terminal and all the fantastic shops and restaurants that Bowen has to offer. The 1 bedroom cabin is nestled in a canopy of firs, maples and cedar trees. It is completely private from the main farmhouse with its own deck and private seating area for your viewing pleasure.
There are two beaches really close to our home, one is across the street called Eagle Cliff Beach. The other beach, which is very popular, is called Kate’s Bay and that is about a 4 min drive. Snug Cove is a mere 7 minutes drive from our place
  • The cabin is as enchanting as it looks in the photos! We were looking for a place to rest and recharge and this cute cabin did the trick. We enjoyed our trip and came back home feeling like new. The design of the cabin is very thoughtful and we particularly enjoyed the bathroom and the awesome tub/shower. My only word of advice for visitors without a car (like us) is that the walk from the bus is longer and steeper than described. Ditch carry-ons unless you want to feel like Amy Adams in Leap Year. :)

    Ana Lucia2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We’re very happy with our stay at the Seaview Cabin. The space was just the right size for 2 adults. For reference, we are 6ft 1in and 5ft 8in tall. I would recommend using a vehicle to go up their winding driveway. The ferry over was very easy to use. Just make sure you arrive a bit early as the schedule times are when the ferry leaves, not when it begins loading. The view from the cabin was fantastic. If it had been a bit warmer we would have enjoyed our meals on the back patio that overlooks the water and mountains. The bed was very comfortable. A nice balance of firm and soft. We very much enjoyed the bathtub/shower combo. The kitchen had plenty of space to cook meals. Just keep in mind that there are only 2 full sized burners on the stove and one thin burner to be used with a griddle. I don’t remember seeing a griddle in the provided utensils. We recommend this cabin if you are looking for something a bit tucked away, but want the option to hike and explore a cozy little island town.

    Molly2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely recommend Karen and Corey's place. The setting is beautiful, the space is incredibly charming with so many thoughful touches. They have everything you need for cooking, the bed is super comfy, the space is very clean and well thought out. My personal favourite thing, though, was the massive bath! There's some really lovely walks around the property and the view from the cabin is gorgeous. Totally worth it!

    Jo2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny house is very cute, cozy and comfortable! The view of the mountains is fantastic! The kitchen has all that is needed for cooking meals. It was fun to visit the chickens and goats and walk the trails on the farm. Just be aware, although the bus conveniently stops at the bottom of the driveway, the driveway is very long and steep so those without their own transit may want to think carefully about their choice of luggage and carrying groceries. It was otherwise easy to get around the island on the bus to the village, restaurants, grocery store and most of the hiking trails.

    Karen2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had an absolutely amazing stay here. The whole island is absolutely beautiful, even the views from right outside the tiny house are amazing. We had a great time here and we'd definitely come back! The local food was good! Make sure to check out the island! A small tip for anyone who plans to cook here, the propane alarm may go off , the reset switch is on the floor board directly under the stove! Thanks for the stays guys

    Michael2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay! The place is perfect for a couple to get away to. Super clean and has everything you need. I enjoyed eating the farm fresh eggs each morning! I’m sure we will be back.

  • So happy with our decision to stay at the Secret Cove Treehouse! It was a beautiful setting & Stephen and Ivan were amazing hosts.

    Jessica2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for a serene, quiet getaway, Stephen and Ivan's stylish treehouse is a must see! The suite was immaculately clean and the interior design was so thoughtful. Everything from the wooden details, the rainfall shower, the provided cozy knit slippers, it was all so thoughtful! Waking up in the morning to the sounds and beauty of the forest was the ultimate treat. The hot tub during the winter is an excellent way to wind down. Stephen also really took the time to show us how everything worked in the home and give us suggestions about local eateries and must see sites. The only thing I had wished is that we stayed longer!

Airbnb's second "Most-Wishlisted" property across all of Canada, our beautiful loft cabin has incredible views of the Sechelt Inlet and gets all the afternoon sun. The beach is a three minute walk downhill, and our community is very quiet as it sits at the end of the road. Why not come and relax for a few days?
Our cabin has a wonderful view of the Sechelt Inlet. And it is all yours to enjoy. It is an a-frame, and so has a very open layout on the inside. It has an upstairs loft as the bedroom with an attached balcony out front. The bathroom is very bright, having a large skylight to let light in, and it features a lovely claw foot bathtub for soaking in. Two people can be accommodated very comfortably, but as well there is a pullout couch downstairs that can sleep two more!
This is where we keep our canoe which is always available to our guests to use. Behind us up the logging road is Tetrahedron Provincial Park, which has plenty of trails and even a series of cabins that can be stayed in for the more adventurous type.
  • My boyfriend and I were looking for a weekend getaway from the busy city life, and found exactly that at Jen & Gary's A-frame cabin! We loved how quiet the neighbourhood was, and enjoyed waking up to soft breezes from the window and beautiful sunrises from the porch. We watched a movie in the evening and appreciated the local tips on where to eat and explore. While we didn't meet in person, Jen & Gary were quick to respond and very friendly. I would highly recommend staying at their lovely properties - we hope to be back soon!

  • Very clean and comfortable

    Francois2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We were delighted with the Gothic Aframe structure of ‘Alfie’ and the care put into all the building details. The size was spacious but felt intimate and cozy. The loft bedroom was very dreamlike, we had the best naps and sleeps there! We came to relax and play our guitars and it was perfect, and we walked at Hidden Grove one days when it didn’t rain. And the rain on the roof was like music! Gary and Jen were great communicators and we had all we needed. It was our first time in the area near Tuwanek and that was another reason why we picked it. Very unique all around. Thank you for making this space available to enjoy!

    Shirley2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • A really lovely getaway, and exactly what we needed. It was quiet, peaceful, close enough to town to be convenient, but far enough away to feel remote and surrounded by nature. Would highly recommend for a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle.

Welcome to The Moulton Meadow Hobby Farm. Our 14 acre property has the most incredible ocean & mountain views where u can access amazing hiking trails or walk down the drive and go to the beach. Our self contained suite is a mere 7 minute drive to restaurants and dining. You'll love my place because of the views, the privacy, the cosiness, the kitchen, and the comfy bed. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids).
Our self contained private suite has the best views on Bowen! It is extremely cozy with French country flair including hardwood floors, fireplace and a full kitchenette with a portable double burner, microwave, flat grill, rotisserie and a bbq outside. There is no oven but if you want to bake we are happy to let you use ours at the main house. There is a private sitting area where you can soak up the views and relax. The suite is ideal for two adults and two kids. We can accommodate 4 people; sleeps 2 in the comfy Queen sized bed in the bedroom and 2 on the double living room futon but it will be quite cozy. The suite has a TV with Cable/Netflix/Prime that you can watch movies on a rainy day☺ If you want to hit the beach you can simply drive down the road and access any number of beaches. We do recommend you have a car as we have a steep windy driveway. We are 300 ft above sea level which attributes to our spectacular views☺️ On our property we keep chickens, goats, ducks and a pot bellied pig. Sorry no dogs allowed as our animals free range. We are happy to provide you with fresh farm eggs at no extra cost. Please just request them.
We are situated at the very top of a picturesque long, windy driveway. We have complete privacy and enjoy all that nature has to offer. Don't be surprised to see wild deer munching on grass or our very own chickens who roam freely. You can enjoy nature or drive 7min into town to shop & dine or to catch the ferry.
  • Such wonderful hosts! The views are breathtaking and the suite was cozy with all the amenities you could need.

  • This is such a charming place to relax! We really enjoyed the spectacular view from the living room and patio—I could sit there all day long (and I did!). The best surprise was all the friendly creatures who come to say hello—we counted at least 4 cats and 2 dogs, plus the farm inhabitants of Elvira, the pot-bellied pig, Charlotte and Spot, the friendly goats, and countless chickens in a wide array of feathery finery! This kind of unique destination is exactly why I enjoy Airbnb so much! Thank you, Karen and Corey!

    Michele2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay and beyond any expectation! My husband and I felt we could relax and explore the island in this home away from home. The perfect getaway and we would love to return the next time we can!

    Stevie2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had an AMAZING time at Karen and Corey’s place. It was perfectly clean and easy to find with the directions given. The hill is quite steep, but nothing that can’t be managed with a car. The view was absolutely perfect at sunset and sunrise. They even gave us some local tips and some organic eggs for the morning. All in all amazing, and we would highly recommend!! Thank you so much 😊 - Katie and Sean

The loft space (counted as one of the bedrooms) has 2 twin beds tucked under the eaves. A perfect place for the kids to stay.
From the bottom of the driveway we are just 100 steps from Lamb Bay beach. Or a 10 minute walk in the other direction and you'll find another beautiful beach to enjoy.
  • Annaway cottage was beautiful. Peaceful getaway, that feels like home. Beach access just down the driveway which is great.

  • Deanna's stay is absolutely incredible. Like walking into the most Ikea'esc home that feels incredibly comfortable and warm. We stayed here with our baby, and it was incredible. For anyone who cares, the baby monitors reception reaches the hot tub, so double win for us! So many thoughtful touches, everything is labeled and clearly displayed. TV and Netflix are an awesome touch, the full kitchen with appliances were awesome as we bought food in town and cooked our own meals. The location is wonderful, we were able to drive everywhere we wanted and used the hosts recommendations. It was off season, but we would absolutely come back during summer to use the beach that is so close and really well maintained, the stay also had all the fixings for a beach day with towels, chairs and extras. Another amazing part we're the two comfy beds, with lovely bedding. We really enjoyed our stay in Sechelt and we're excited to come back soon!

  • Do you like beautiful homes on private properties with lots of privacy and amazing scenery? Well then this is the place for you. The hot tub felt great after a day of hiking and the house has so much charm. The bed we slept in was seriously the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The shower was a neat surprise too. I’ve never seen one like it before. The beach was steps away and the area is quiet and peaceful. I really have nothing bad to say about this property. If you aren’t staying here in 2020 then you are missing out.

    James2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Deanna is an incredible host - super communicative, quick responses and very helpful! The place was gorgeous and clean, with lots of little personal touches. The hot tub is magical at night and the loft area is super charming. There is a guidebook to answer any questions you have and check in and out was super smooth. Would come back in a heartbeat!

    Sam2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Deanna was our savior as she accommodated us last minute with a place to stay. It was so much more than we expected. Check in was easy, communication was quick, instructions were clear. Everything was organized and immaculate and the place was like heaven! Such a relaxing stay! The hot tub with a view that overlooked the rainforest. The serene sounds of a stream running downhill, the beautiful fireplace and everything you could need. We will be back for sure! 😊

    Leslie2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as pictured. Deanna was a dream to communicate with! Beautiful, relaxing getaway with the hot tub overlooking forested area, fireplace crackling inside, very comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen! Thank you!

    Cindy2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Deanna's place is truly stunning! Inside and out. We needed a peaceful get away out of busy and what we got was better. Deanna is a tentative host and provided everything we needed to make a trip! Would 100% reccomend!

  • Robyn's place is great! I have stayed here a couple of times now while travelling for work. The space is always sparkling clean and well appointed and Robyn's communication is always clear and quick. The central location in Gibsons is perfect for getting around. I would highly recommend this space whether you are here for work or looking for a weekend get away. I will definitely be back!

    Sarah2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Robyn’s place was every bit as amazing as I hoped it would be. It was sparkling clean, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. My husband, daughter, and I stayed here on a spur of the moment trip and Robyn was very accommodating of our last minute request. I would recommend this place to anyone reading this review. I can’t wait to visit again!

    Sumeyye2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • The design and layout of this little 2 story coach house is simple and perfect! The location in town is convenient, parking at the front door couldnt be more simple. We only went out for one meal and prepared all our own meals of special treats we collected on our day trips to the rest of the Sunshine Coast. The popcorn maker was a great touch and perfect for sampling some Sunshine Coast butter flavoured olive oil. We were so impressed to have Netflix, Amazon Prime and CBS news apps all logged in and ready to go! We realize we could be happy in a tiny home if it was as perfectly laid out and simply designed as this adorable coach house.

    Dw2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend! Cozy and perfect for a relaxing get away. Close to great food and the view from the bedroom in the morning is spectacular!

  • Wonderful space, cozy and cute! Steps to lower Gibson’s and the water. Wonderful hosts!

    Sarah2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is fantastic! So easy to find and check in. And just a short walk to shops and restaurants in lower Gibson. We only stayed two nights but just as easily could have stayed two weeks. Can’t wait to be back!

    Alison2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Robyn’s space was great! Very well located and had just about every amenity you could want. Robyn was a great host. Quick to respond and provided clear communication about the space, check-in, check-out and any other questions I might have had.

  • 10/10 Highly recommended. Clean, cosy, amazing views. I can't wait to come back.

    James2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was just as described and better! It is beautiful designed with attention to details. Even though there is a road that runs in front of the cabin, you still feel a sense of privacy because the house sits up on the hill and there are hedges perfectly placed so you can still see the view but people on the street can’t see you.

    Judy2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re like us city folk who want to just disconnect from the hustle bustle, definitely book M&M’s beach cottage. It’s quick to get to from the ferry, yet secluded enough where all you see is the beautiful ocean/shoreline view. Due to the view I would say this cottage is a great place to visit year round. We look forward to coming back!

    Anna2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Mary’s pictures don’t do her place justice.Breathtaking views from the entire cottage and just steps away from the beach. It was very clean and well kept. Mary was very quick to respond to any questions I had. I would highly recommend booking her place.

    Savina2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Mary's cabin was completely amazing- beautiful view, stylishly decorated, and sparkling clean. I stayed for two days and could have taken a week. Mary was attentive and when I needed something, responded right away. I will definately be back in the summer to experience the beach and patio! I would highly recommend this accomodation.

    Erin2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • We’ve stayed at the beach cottage twice now, and it continues to be our favourite place for a weekend getaway from Vancouver. It’s easy to get to from the ferry (by car), there are uninterrupted views of the ocean from every window, a great sense of privacy, and you can hear the sound of the waves from the bedroom. The space itself is bright, modern and comfortable, and is stocked with everything you need to relax, such as lots of wood for the fireplace, candles, music, etc. And Mary is lovely to deal with. We really can’t recommend this place highly enough.

    Anthony2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing stay! Walking into the place for the first time was definitely a shock, as the pictures do not do Mary's place justice. Cozy, cute and definitely a home away from home. The sound of the waves and the view were spectacular. And the wood burning fireplace was definitely the icing. Would love to come back again, amazing experience. Thanks Mary !

    Kurnpaul2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing getaway cottage right on the ocean. Fantastic hosts. We did a winter trip and the combination of ocean views and roaring fire was perfect. Watched seals playing in the waves from the living room.

The house is situated a 10 min drive away from Snug Cove terminal. We live in a quiet neighborhood on the west side of Bowen, that receives the beautiful evening sun, and spectacular sunsets. There is an expansive window with an ocean view from the suite. We are close to two main beaches, one being a longer walk away! There is access to the trail network from behind the property. The guest suite is surrounded by trees, and offers a quiet and serene getaway from the city. We are on a bus route.
No smoking please! Inside suite and around the entire property Main house, yard, and hot tub are private

  • Nadine's place was absolutely wonderful. We had a great time here and the place was absolutely beautiful. We had a minor mishap on this trip but it didn't bug us too much -- appreciate the attention and care to the unit!

    Jasmine2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Nadine’s cabin is well designed and feels so spacious, even though the footprint is small. As advertised, the kitchen is a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and kettle, but we had what we needed for a super cozy weekend and appreciated the teas, coffee, and fresh cream and milk (also who doesn’t want the excuse to eat a lot of charcuterie?). A really beautiful place to spend the weekend

Three unique small buildings. A sleeping cabin, bathroom and kitchen are all connected by an outdoor deck. Nestle into the woods with peek a boo ocean views and enjoy amazing sunsets from the hot tub. This is a true nature getaway. Please note, we live on the property and you will pass our home on a lower path as you get to the cabins. Once you are at the cabins, it is very private!
Five minutes from the heart of the creek and access to popular biking trails. This area is a quiet, peaceful paradise!
  • We had a great weekend at Katie’s place. It is just as cute in real life! We were just two of us so it was the right size but I can imagine that for four- especially in the winter- it would be a tight squeeze. The hot tub was so nice surrounded by nature. Katie was very helpful and quick when we had questions. Thanks so much!

    Kate2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • What a sweet little spot in the woods. Katie was very gracious to let us in slightly ahead of check in and everything was just as explained in the listing. We definitely want to come back for another stay! Thanks for having us!

    Maggie2020-02-25T00:00:00Z

    Thomas2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time "somewhere in the woods"! Katie's cabin is a true gem and the perfect getaway from the stressful city life. We loved the hot tub and the piano in the kitchen cabin! Katie was a great host, very responsive and hospitable. Definitely recommended!

  • Somewhere in the woods exceeded my expectations! It was the perfect getaway from city life. Katie was an attentive and responsive host. We had 4 people in the space and it was totally fine! The hot tub and campfire were great touches. We would definitely come back!

    Haley2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Super cozy, quiet and relaxing space to unwind! Definitely recommend!

    Bianca2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Somewhere In The Woods is truly a wonderful stay. We were rained out of our outdoor plans for 2 days, but the amenities saved our much needed little weekend trip! The hosts have truly lended their sense of design to accentuate the gorgeous surroundings and sweet, simple cabins which are thoughtfully laid out to incorporate the natural setting. We ended up loving being rained-in and cozying up in the hot tub. Can’t wait to come back in the spring!

The space is a rustic A-frame cabin on a beautiful lakeside property with a dock and beach. It has a kitchen, bathroom, living room, loft bedroom and deck. Its cute and cozy. SPRING NOTE: the cabin is heated by a wood stove, we provide the wood, there is no furnace. The space is only big enough for 3 adults. Please include all guests in the inquiry, including pets. Pets are like people, we don't accept everyone. While we are pet friendly, we need to discuss and approve each pet individually.
Our property is wooded on a lake shore, it's quintessentially Canadian. The lake is small and warm and great for swimming. It has beaver, otter, loons, herons, eagles and more. The cabin is situated on 2.5 acres on Hotel Lake with 650 feet of lake front. The property has a dock with grassy area and fire pit as well as a separate beach area. Also sharing the property is our house and a vacation cottage.
  • Amazing little rustic cabin. Its nothing fancy but there's hot water, a proper shower, WiFi and whatever you need to be comfortable. It was a challenge keeping it warm with just the log burner but it's all part of the fun. Had a very peaceful weekend away.

    Daniel2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great little spot for a cozy stay!

    Owen2020-03-02T00:00:00Z

  • Great spot! So close to the lake, and if you’re looking for a rustic getaway, this is it.

    Ella2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful little getaway. Nylene is kind and super helpful. Beautiful location and cozy little spot. Close to lots of exploring. The A frame is nice and private and yet close enough to the hosts if needed. Being able to do laundry was an added bonus since we are moving across country currently :) We are also traveling with our mini dachshund who loved it. She especially liked being in front of the wood stove ;) Thanks again so much! Would recommend. A+

    Samantha2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoyed our getaway at this rustic little cabin! Great location, super quiet area right on an amazing lake. Nylene was quick to respond and a very hospitable host.

    Ben2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Nylene's A Frame was exactly what I needed: quiet and stripped down. It was -3 when I was there so the wood burning stove was a necessity but in slightly warmer temperatures it would serve as the perfect mood setter. They were very quick to answer texts and even lent me some cream for afternoon tea! Thank you

  • The actual views are more incredible than the posted photos. Everything you would expect about the place is great - it's large, clean, accessible, and had every tool we needed to cook up some meals. Jennifer was super reachable and ensured our stay was excellent. But the views were absolutely incredible - for sure stole the show. Nothing better than sitting on the deck, or behind the glass wall if it's raining, and watching the Lord of the Rings-esque views of the mountains and seas. Absolutely stunning, will be staying here again the next time we hit Bowen!

  • The view is absolutely the star of the house. Cozy living space to relax and have a cup of tea. Be ready to walk some stairs!

  • Jennifer's home was idyllic. The view itself is worth the visit. We spent our days exploring the forest and our evening cooking and enjoying the beautiful views of seals, ravens, and eagles. The cottage had everything we needed and more! Would definitely come back :)

One of a kind - quiet self contained spacious suite with private deck right on the beach. Fully equipped kitchen (breakfast supplies in fridge) lounge, WiFi, TV, BBQ, smoking outside only, pets ok. Sleeps 4 - queen bed, pull out couch. Please note that access from the parking area requires multiple stairs which makes this property unfit for anyone with mobility issues.
Because of the staircases involved to get to the suite, this space is not suitable for the elderly or the infirm. We will taxi you bags (and you) when you arrive and depart if you prearrange the times.
  • If you want to be close to the water, this is it! When the tide is in, it’s at the base of your private deck. Absolutely gorgeous! Add to it the delicious baked goods, homemade yogurt and organic eggs and you’ve got an enjoyable stay. The bathroom is a little older and tiny but the bedroom is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The hosts are super friendly and very attentive when it comes to getting your bags up and down the steep drive. Otherwise treat the 90 steps up and down as part of your daily workout. We did and had a great time at it.

  • Absolutely incredible place. Only thing better than the location was the hospitality provided by Karen & Paul.

    Ibrahim2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great experience with Karen and Paul in their guest suite. They are attentive and thoughtful hosts, and you couldn’t get much closer to the water without being on a boat! Exactly what we were hoping for from a get-away by the ocean. Their property is well represented by the photos and previous positive reviews - enjoy!

  • This place is incredible and we highly recommend it! Karen and Paul are lovely hosts. They patiently helped us learn how to drive up and down steep driveway, brought us delicious homemade bread and jam in the morning, and were available for any questions or needs we had. Before our stay, they even asked if we have any dietary restrictions (we're vegan), then provided us with almond milk and surprised us with locally-made vegan chocolate. We've never experienced that level of accommodation before during our travels and weren't expecting it. We love the water and everything that comes with it - the sea air, the birds, the boats, the waves - and this place is perfect for being immersed in that. Steps down to the beach allowed us to take beach walks on a whim, and we even took a swim as the water was calm and warm enough. Lots of cool rocks, driftwood, and starfish to look at. If you're here on clear days you'll be able to watch the sun and moonlight reflecting on the water, all from the comfort of their cozy place. All the rooms have windows facing the water, so even if you stay inside you can hear the waves and enjoy the view. The patio is partially covered, so you can sit outside comfortably with protection from rain or sun if need be.

  • Cannot say enough about our stay at Karen and Paul’s. They have thought of all the small details and take a lot of pride in their place. Right from the booking, the communication and small bits of info were great. The place is clean and has all the small things you need when you’re on holiday. The views and location are incredible and the place is very private. We couldn’t have asked for anything more from our stay here.
