Great weekend getaway in a beautiful location! Views of the sunset from the waterfront hot tub was perfect. Cant wait to go back!

If you want to have a relaxing time, but also enjoy the sights and adventures in Sechelt, i highly recommend this place and these hosts. This place is clean and cozy. The views are picturesque! And the details in the property were well thought off. We had a relaxing time drinking our coffees by the dock in the morning, and then sipping our wines just after sunset by the covered patio. We also enjoyed the views while sitting on the hot tub. And, got to see some seals & jellyfish. The hosts are knowledgeable, friendly, but also professional. I especially appreciated their tips & recommendations on places to see, & things to do in Sechelt. As we followed most of them and enjoyed them. Particularly, trying out the food places, canoeing and hiking. Location is also close enough driving to most places. Thanks Jack & Sheila for letting us stay in your lovely B&B! We'll be recommending this to our friends!

This place is amazing. Jack and Sheila are great hosts and their suite does not disappoint. The hardest decision we had to make the entire time was whether to have coffee on the patio or on the dock. The location is so beautiful and calm, Sechelt also has such a calm feel around town and Jack will not hesitate to tell you about his top picks for dinner or coffee or day trips. 10 out of 10 would stay here again.

Wow what an oasis this was! This is the place you go to when you just want to melt away into a total state of relaxation. We loved our first and definitely not our last stay at coracle waterfront suite. The hot tub was amazing, sitting there at sunset with a glass and wine and the view = heaven! We brought out dog Nala which was so awesome. Rarely do places allow dogs. There is a small beach a 5min walk away which she loved swimming around and playing in. We went into town one day to a fish market for fresh oysters and crab and sat on the balcony eating fresh seafood and taking in the amazing view. Jack and Sheila have an incredible herb garden. One night we cooked a roast lamb and was able to head to the garden for some fresh rosemary. Yum! We shall be back and recommending this place to our friends and family. Thanks so much jack for your suggestions on places to explore especially with Nala. We loved the heritage trails a short drive from the apartment.

It is right on the water, has stunning views, is very quiet and is very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

From our first contact with Jack and Sheila they went out of their way to help make our short trip as enjoyable as possible. Their guide and helpful suggestions whilst there for a couple of nights helped us have a really enjoyable stay. It is a beautiful home and location, but if you can, stay for a lot longer than just the 2 nights we did to really appreciate all that there is to enjoy.

We just had a fantastic stay at Jack&Sheila's. The directions were accurate and straightforward. Jack offered us a warm welcome to their amazing house in a very friendly but also very professional way. The suite, the garden and the patio were in perfect condition. The spectacular views from the patio, the hot-tub deck and the dock (with the red chairs) make this place a truly amazing retreat for a relaxing time on the Coast. The view from the hot tub and the dock alone would have made this place a gem but we could definitely tell that Jack and Sheila also really paid attention to the details (furniture, arrangements, linens, bed ...) and put a lot of efforts into providing their guests with a 5-star experience. Highly recommended, this might become a recurring late summer retreat for us. Thanks again Jack. Cheers.

Wonderful place to get away for a few days. Cosy spot with great views of the water. The small dock, outdoor hot tub, BBQ and balcony were great! All was clean and modern. The area is so quiet and peaceful. While sipping wine on the dock we saw harbour seals, or they were checking us out. We also sighted and heard ravens throughout our stay, I love that gurgling croak or call that echoes across the water. Jack was the perfect host. Miho and I had a fantastic time on the Sunshine coast and certainly recommend staying here. Marcel & Miho

The cottage was great, it was just as described. The place has everything you need (cookware, movies, games) etc. The wood construction of literally everything in the house really gives it a rustic feel. The hosts were great and we couldn't have asked for more. The only negative I have to say is the smell of sewage you get upon arrival. As you walk from your car to the cabin it is not he most welcoming smell. From the cabin it is not noticeable. I would recommend this to others.

We had a wonderful stay at The Lily Pad. Gary and Jen clearly give a lot of consideration to what will make their guests' stays most comfortable and provide a spacious and clean cabin in an idyllic location. Our family of four loved our time there.

A fantastic location for a weekend trip from Vancouver. The house had all the amenities we needed and we were able to feel right at home. There is an off leash dog park just down the road and the beach is just a short walk down the hill. We hope to come back and stay again soon!

Great spot! Super secluded, we'll appointed and exactly as advertised. A fabulous get away, a short driving distance to the ferry. The master bed is incredibly comfortable as well!

We stayed here in June 2017with our three boys (ages 5, 10, and 12). This cabin was so comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. We loved grilling on the deck for dinner! And the hot tub is the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring the area. There is so much to do in the area: hiking, kayaking, biking, shopping, swimming, and (our favorite) looking for tiny crabs and shells on the beach, which is just a short walk away. This was a very family-friendly place. Gary and Jen are awesome hosts and made our stay so easy and comfortable. A perfect stay!

This was, by far, the best all-around experience I've had staying at an airbnb! Monika and Richard have a beautiful space, and the view is incredible. We spent the most relaxing 3 days sitting on the deck, and appreciated Monika's recommendations for things to do in the area! Would highly, highly recommend.

Great accommodation. We spent 4 nights there with my parents (4 of us). My parents in the main room and my girlfriend and I on the couch. The place was very warm and inviting, with delicious food in the fridge and even freshly baked bread which Monika made the day we arrived. Both Monika & Richard were great at organising us in getting to the accommodation and were very friendly, even giving us a slack-line demo on arrival - yup, accommodation comes with a slack line :). Highly recommend. You will be far from disappointed with this quaint little place in a slice of paradise. Thanks!

Canada Day -- my wife and I arrived at Monika and Richard's by bicycle... It's a bit hilly to get there, but when we arrived the view of the inlet was fantastic! Monika welcomed us and showed us the private suite - and we were impressed from the start. Great liveable space, heated floors, bright, fresh and clean. There was freshly baked bread, fresh fruit, and thoughtful items in the fridge for breakfast as well as refreshments, along with coffee and tea just like at home. Kitchen has all you need. We had dinner at the Lighthouse Pub and then with Monika's directions, we had a pleasant walk back, so their place is walkable if you are so inclined. (I had a tire blowout on the second day shortly after leaving the BnB and had to walk all the way into town - wasn't bad at all). The deck is in sun for breakfasts, and then in shade for relaxing in the afternoon and evening. To top it off, we were invited to spend some time with Monika and Richard and their sons (who were visiting) around the fire pit one evening - just super nice people. We really enjoyed our stay and we would love to come back!

Lovely quiet spot with a gorgeous view.

Home was well appointed with a great view. Tony was very helpful in getting us setup and showing us around. Only problem would be some spots where construction was still ongoing and some places that were without protective railing for our small children.

We had a fantastic time staying in Madeira Park at Tonyland. The host is a very lovely guy and great to talk to, upon arrival he gave us a guided tour of his place, which is not only well kept but also a super interesting place to hang out. We spend time in and around the area which is beautiful, returning back and relaxing on the deck or in the hot tub. Totally recommend Tonyland as a place to stay while in the area and it was a pleasure meeting Tony also :)

Everything about Michele's Starfish Retreat was far and beyond our expectations. Michele is a brilliant host who welcomed us warmly and was always available if needed and otherwise gave us our privacy. We felt so at home it was hard to pack up and leave. The high ceilings, beautiful wood detail, comfortable furniture, and killer view were all perfect. We would highly recommend anyone travelling to the Sunshine Coast to check in here. The setting is stunning, the beach beautiful, and just minutes outside of the town of Sechelt , and close to anywhere you want to visit on the Sunshine Coast. We most definitely would love to stay there again. :)

If you get a chance to stay here, do not hesitate to book it right away!! Michele is the consummate hostess, her place is a 10/10, and the view from that balcony (and your king size bed) is indescribable, you just need to experience it for yourself. Beautiful and private, it was perfect for a romantic weekend away with my significant other. Should note that if someone is staying in the cabin beneath this place, there is no access to the inlet which was a bit of a let down. Overall an amazing place. We really appreciated the exposed timerstrand beams and the wood burn fireplace, the entire design of the place was outstandingly beautiful and modern.

The Perch is an idyllic property, fantastic design and attention to detail with all the trimmings. Arrangements were smooth and easy to follow. The location, solitude and great space make this the perfect getaway. it was nice to bump into Kathleen and hear some of the story of the property. They care a lot which shows.

The Perch was an amazingly clean, modern and cozy cabin with tons of privacy. We had a beautiful weekend and will definitely be returning. Due to the unexpected snowfall, Kathleen and Brent kept in good contact with us and were accommodating and helpful in every way possible. Brent even picked us up and drove us straight to the doorstep as our little car couldn't make it the whole way. Kind and thoughtful hosts, beautiful place. 10/10 would recommend!

We enjoyed our time in the space burrito very clean and nice. Beautiful vacation spot, within 200m of delicious food at LaVerne's, John Henry's general store and the picturesque Marina! We enjoyed exploring the Garden Bay area, swimming in the local lakes, and going for a hike up Pender Hill.

Awesome part of BC to visit. Crystal clear lakes and lots of places to explore by boat in the harbour! Liz's trailer had everything we needed for a weekend getaway with the family.

Great spot to base yourself to get around this beautiful area

We loved the lake! The location was ideal for swimming and paddle boarding. The airstream was within walking distance of restaurants and groceries. We found the trailer cozy for the 3 of us. Liz was very quick with her responses to any of our questions. I only wish that the trailer placement was further from the main road. We were there on a long weekend and an accident happened only a few meters away from the trailer in the middle of the night. There was very little privacy being set so close to the road and some outdoor space would have been nice.

Always a warm welcome at the indigo cottage- yogurt, waffles, fresh berries, coffee & maple sirup...such treats! The cottage is just around the corner from the best lake beach at Ruby lake...hiking trails all around. We love coming here!

We had a fantastic stay at Indigo Cottage. It's a short walk to Ruby Lake, as well as Ruby Lake Resort, and a great Italian restaurant. The cottage is very well decorated, clean, and has everything you need for your stay. Karin stocked the fridge with waffles, yogurt, and coffee cream. There's a really nice back yard and chairs to hang out in. It's a really quiet neighborhood. We were there as two couples and an infant, and there was lots of room. I'd highly recommend Karin's place for anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast.

Indigo cottage is a wonderful place to get relax and enjoy the beautiful nature around the Ruby lake. We got a nice welcome, Karin and Jeremy are the great host, we soon felt at home. Everything was perfect, clean and we really love the design and the details in the house.

This is a quaint cottage with charm and nice amenities. Not all windows that open have screens but we did manage to keep it cooler by opening the upstairs windows during the day and closing the ones facing the sun downstairs during the day. There is a very good fan, but consider bringing your own as well, especially if someone will be sleeping downstairs in the summer heat. We tried the queen size pull out bed on the main floor and the king bed in the loft. We were not at all comfortable on the pull out so as soon as it cooled off we slept upstairs. There is no microwave or dishwasher so be prepared for that. The oven does have a warming tray which was useful for some things. Hosts are very nice - we had some issues with our car and an alarm going off at home when we arrived - Karin was helpful in getting us tools and WiFi access so we could make calls. Nice selection of books and movies for all ages, but there is no TV, VCR or DVD... The location is perfect and the property is quiet and private- far enough away from any bustle, but close enough to shopping (stop in Sechelt or Pender Harbour on your way in), and outdoor recreation. We met more than a few very nice folks during our too-short stay. Ruby lake is perfect! Spent 3+ hours in the water at a stretch and never felt cold. Can't wait to come back!

Karin & Jeremy were super welcoming and made us feel right at home in their lovely, wonderfully appointed cottage. Upon arrival, there were many treats waiting for us: a bowl of freshly picked blueberries, marmalade, coffee & cream for the morning & waffles in the freezer for the kids! Comfortable beds and high quality linens made our stay even more enjoyable. The cottage is on a property with fruit trees, surrounded by the sounds of nature. A truly special place to spend a holiday! The location was perfect - close to the best swimming beach, trails & even an Italian restaurant within walking distance.

Indigo cottage is a beautiful space, open concept with lots of light. I had originally envisioned exploring a bit more but once I was there I didn't feel inclined to leave much! It was a space I could really sink into, both inside and out. The songbirds and frogs were an extra delight. I didn't get to meet Karin but Jeremy was very welcoming while also giving me the space I was needing for this trip. I would happily return!

If you're looking for a secluded, quiet, retreat home, this is the place to stay! The pictures are exactly what the house looks like. The neighbourhood is quiet and the house was kept clean. It was a quick drive to and from Sechelt, so if you need something and would like more options, it was a nice and convenient location. The only minor downside was there were some items missing that would've been nice to have at the house. There was no microwave (which we didn't clue in to until arriving at the house), so any leftovers or food required to be (re)-heated had to be done on the stove or the oven. A few more pots and pans would've been nice since we did make and prepare some of our meals at the house. Also, the pillows were just enough for 4 people (1 pillow per person), so if you're one to use more pillows while sleeping, it would be wise to bring your own. Having stayed at other Airbnb places, that would be my only criticism for the house, but it's not a deal-breaker by any means. Other than that, it was an overall good experience. Communication with Shaina was easy and pleasant. Thanks again for having us!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the blue house. It was cozy, comfortable and very clean. Nice location. The only minor issue was having to climb down a set of steep stairs to take our five year old to the bathroom at night (no bathroom upstairs). Overall, a great place!

We had such a lovely, relaxing weekend! The house was really clean and the kitchen and bathroom were large. House was in a beautiful location, just a short drive to the beach and 12 minutes away from Sechelt.

This is a wonderful holiday home in a fantastic location. the pictures do not do the place justice. The house itself is spacious (plenty of room to accommodate six people easily) and is very nicely furnished to a high (comfortable and luxurious) standard. But it is the location (right on the beach) that marks this place out as being so special. We just sat on the deck in lovely sunshine for our whole stay while our kids took to the ocean in the provided kayaks and small boat, though we did manage a swim or two ourselves. There is good shopping just a few minutes' drive away, meaning you can enjoy some lovely BBQs on the deck in the evening. Just a wonderful, idyllic spot. Do bring insect repellent though!

What a wonderful place to stay, right on the beach! Maryanne has thought of everything to make our stay so comfortable and enjoyable! She really has thought of everything! From Kayaking to a row boat and supplied life jackets and beach shoes, and crabbing equipment there is plenty to do! Our family hopes to make it back again next year!

A beautiful cabin only steps to the ocean. Very peaceful and relaxing. The water is clean and inviting. A short 10 minutes into town and close to many beautiful lakes and marinas. A wonderful place to explore

The ocean is only a couple steps away and the patio is the perfect place to lounge with a book in hand and a drink in the other. Maryanne has thoughtfully provided anything you might need during your stay and we loved using the fully equipped kitchen or napping on our comfy beds. The ferry is about 20 minutes away, and with a 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, this is the perfect getaway for anyone in the Lower Mainland.

This was a great choice for us. We spent a lovely four days here with our friends and family. Marryane is very helpful and wonderful host. We had a blast. Highly recommended and we are looking forward to come again.

Beautiful home on the beach where you can sleep to the sound of waves rolling on the rock beach, barbecue while watching cruise ships go by and roast s'mores while looking at the stars. Maryanne made us feel at home from the time we arrived. We look forward to going back.

A lovely house right on the beach, with a deck overlooking the ocean, just perfect for chilling out with a BBQ and watching the sunset in the evening. The house was very well-equipped, spacious and comfortable. The second bedroom is a little on the small side for a double bed, but this certainly did not detract from a wonderful stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Marc and Kathie's place. The coach house is stylish, clean, and comfortable and the views are beautiful. Marc and Kathie were very friendly and great to chat with, and I really appreciated the personal touches (fridge stocked with great breakfast options, bottle of wine upon arrival, Marc getting the fireplace going for me because I was convinced I'd fill the place with smoke). The beach is a short trek away from the coach house, and incredibly peaceful with lots of great boulders to hang out and just listen to the waves coming in. Overall, excellent place and excellent hosts.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the carriage house this past weekend. The place is perfect for a relaxing getaway for one or a couple. The lowest tide of the year occurred while I was there and a sandbar appeared that my dog and I loved checking out. The water is filled with Dungeness crab and beautiful starfish. I would highly recommend the Upper Deck cafe in Halfmoon bay for dinner. Marc was a wonderful host. He was flexible with my late arrival and gave me lots of tips about the area. I was grateful for the tram ride up the hill after a bear sighting. I will definitely be returning!

The Treehouse Suite was truly wonderful. We spent six days and could have stayed many more. The space is rustic in feeling, but modern, comfortable, and well-tended. Ivan and Stephen were great hosts, very helpful, and communicated well. The area surrounding the suite is gorgeous and between the many hiking trails in the area, and the canoe that was available, we were able to enjoy the natural beauty of the sunshine coast. Even if the weather is cold and rainy, the day could easily be enjoyed from the porch or the hot tub, both with great views.

This place was beautiful and Stephen was really welcoming. We had perfect weather and the place was super cozy. Hot tub at night was amazing and sitting down by the ocean was so peaceful. The best part was definitely the rainfall shower though! I'd definitely recommend this place - we had everything we needed to cook and bbq each day and the location was great.

Ivan and Stephen made us feel very welcome by being at arms reach but out of sight as hosts. We had everything that we needed and more. We felt particularly taken care of as Stephen guided us through our arrival via text. Accommodation was gorgeous and very homey. We will be back.

Stephen was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. He made sure that he knew our travel itinerary and welcomed us at the door. I also appreciated how he kept in contact with us throughout our time there. We truly felt like it was a retreat - set back in the woods and looking onto the water. Stephen is the IDEAL host! Top notch! There is nothing he hasn't thought through. Accommodations were stellar, communication and hospitality were out of this world...and to top off our experience, the location and scenery were unparalleled! We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Waking up in the very comfortable king size bed in the pristine surroundings of the rainforest was delightful. The rain shower, heated floors and cedarwood soaps were spectacular as well. The outdoor hot tub under the stars made for an epic way to ring in the new year.

The cabin was laid out better than we envisioned. The downstairs is it's own separate space with the home theatre unit and a fold-open futon couch. It has it's own bathroom and kitchen. There is also a room with a bed for 2 (King? Queen? Not sure). So if you have another couple or small family staying, you can give them their own space. Everybody wins. The upstairs master bedroom is lovely with lofted ceilings and it's own "ensuite" deck. The main floor is very spacious and with separate rooms for toilet and shower/bath which is another very convenient factor for larger groups. The main deck off the living room is very spacious and can seat 8 comfortably. The BBQ is new and high quality. We had most of our meals on the deck. There is a kayak rental place just 5 minutes away and it's quick and easy to drive into Sechelt. A perfect spot for the conclusion of our summer. We crafted some very nice memories here. Lovely and big place provides you with everything you need!

With the driving info from David, it was easy to find the home. It looks a bit old from the outside, but it's a surprise when we entered into the house, it's really a beautiful stylish log home. Lots of cutleries, towels, video and board games. We enjoyed a lot when staying there. Would recommend this beautiful home to my friends with no doubt.

This place is exactly as advertised and has everything you could possibly need. Beautiful and spacious, yet comfy and cozy. Gorgeous setting with a spectacular view of the inlet. Great and responsive host should you have any questions. Highly recommended.

The house was in a beautiful location, very quiet and had plenty of room for a larger group. We were shocked that the house didn't have an oven but we made do for the week with the toaster oven/BBQ.

Fantastic place exactly as advertised. Quiet relaxing environment just a short walk to the beach with lovely view of the Inlet. Perfect for BBQ on the deck in the evening before heading inside to enjoy the fantastic log fire. David was a great host - easy to contact and very accommodating.
