Places to stay in Ranelagh, Dublin
Exceptional en-suite double bedroom in a fully refurbished-stylish period house, in one of Dublin´s most beautiful streets. Location is unmatched in the lovely Ranelagh area, only 10 mins walk to St Stephen's Green!
Enjoy this exclusive en-suite double bedroom with all the advantages of a hotel room: WiFi, mini fridge, kettle, large wardrobes, and powerful shower.
The house sits in one of South Dublin’s most beautiful streets and quiet areas. No less than five embassies / ambassador residences (such as Netherlands and Hungary) are located just around the corner! Although the house is perfectly located only 10mins walk to St Stephen's Green, the area has a nice residential character, enjoying plenty of trees, parks (Darthmouth Square and Ranelagh Gardens) and period houses. It’s perfect for a morning/evening walk or jog, for instance, along the canal.
  • Great location, surroundered by beautiful walks and parks . Great host. Very accomodating, he was very quick to respond and to advice on the location. Highly recommended!

  • The location is great and just a quick train ride to downtown. Parking wasn’t an issue on site but honestly wish we would have just skipped having a rental car and used the train. Quiet area with lots of great restaurants a quick walk away.

    Dublin, Ireland

Your own door apartment in a gated and secure apartment complex. 20 minutes walk from St Stephen's Green and round the corner from Ranelagh Village, where Dubliners go for a meal and a drink. (Temple Bar is more touristy and too far away - trams stop at 12pm) You can either walk to St Stephen's Green and Grafton Street or take the Luas (Tram) from Ranelagh Village. Shops and supermarkets are nearby. The Luas/tram track runs beside the apartment on top of the old communal garden wall.
The apartment is compact with a double bedroom, a small single bedroom and kitchen and bathroom. If the weather is good you can relax in the outside patio. You will hear the trams passing the communal gardens and faintly inside the apartment as the old railway line is on the boundary of the communal garden. The Luas operating times are from 5.30am to 12pm. The front of the apartment is on Northbrook Road which is a reasonable quite road traffic wise. When you open the window in the bedrooms you will of course hear traffic passing by. It is very near Ranelagh Village but far enough removed that you won't hear any entertainment noise form pubs and restaurants.
Ranelagh is the fashionable place in Dublin for living and eating out. There is a range of good quality restaurants from Italian, Indian to traditional Irish food and there is a wide variety of (gastro) pubs and local supermarkets. The suburb is well connected to the City Centre with 2 trams stops that will bring you to the centre within 10 minutes. I often get asked for luggage to be left in the apartment after checking out because the plane leaves in the evening. If I've no check-ins that day I can look after it - if I do have check ins my advice is to go to Saint Andrew Street, Dublin 2, near the Tourist Office and leave your luggage in Number One Newsagents in Saint Andrew Street (near Trinity College) - €3 per bag per day. They securely take your bag for the day and it also saves you having to walk back to the apartment to collect the bags.
  • Gerry was friendly and helpful. The place we stayed in was clean and warm. It was also in a great location for walking some places and also having the LUAS right there made it extra convenient. We highly recommend it.

  • I highly recommend Jerry's place when you visit Dublin. The apartment is close to the city centre and has everything you'll need while visiting Dublin. The apartment is spacious and has a modern kitchen. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of hot water for your bath or shower. Jerry is considerate and very quick to respond to any questions you have.

    Diane2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was perfect. Jerry is a very welcoming host, easy to communicate with and even provide guests with culinary gifts. :-) The apartment was crystal clean and located in quiet neighborhood one street-far from Dublin4 center; in particular, the supermarket is at a 3 minute walk. We recommend Jerry's apartment without any kind of reserve!

    Damien2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Jerry was very friendly despite late arrival and was very accommodating throughout the stay. The apartment was very clean and the equipment includes everything you need. Downtown Dublin is within walking distance in about 30 minutes. Supermarkets are about 7 minutes walk from the apartment. A clear recommendation!

    Anna-Lena2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely calm space in a gated development in easy reach of Charlemont LUAS stop and the excellent eating options of Ranelagh village. Jerry was incredibly welcoming and amenable; we had a wonderful weekend in Dublin.

    Anna2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Jerry's apartment is comfortable, located in a quiet area and rather close to the center of Dublin: 20mns walk or 10mns of transport (bus, tram). Ideal for a short visit of Dublin. We recommend. Samia & Patrick

  • We stayed at Jerry’s apartment for two nights and had a lovely time! Jerry greeted us upon arrival and explained everything to us. He even provided us with some yummy snacks! The apartment was perfectly clean and everything worked really well. The area is very nice with lots of stores and a LUAS station nearby. I can only recommend this accommodation!

    Verena2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was the perfect size for my husband, my 18 month old, and myself. We loved the location-you are a quick walk to Ranelagh village, a local center with shops and restaurants, and a 15 minute walk to St Stephens green. We found Dublin to be very walkable. The apartment is also exceptionally clean.

Located just 5 minutes' walk from the City Centre, this comfortable room has a private bathroom, kitchen and a whole floor to yourself! On direct bus routes to Dublin airport and walking distance from Trinity College, Grafton Street and City Center.
The room is spacious and quiet and you will have the whole floor to yourself with a private bathroom and a kitchenette with your own fridge, microwave oven, kettle and toaster (we provide tea, coffee and snacks). The room is also freshly painted and the bed is brand new. The room has a TV with an Apple TV with Netflix and a stereo speaker for music if you're staying in. Single air mattress is available too - just ask!
We live in historic Georgian Dublin. The house itself was built in the 1800's and still maintains many original features, with a modern twist. The area is really charming just outside the city center. Just across the street there is a deli, Starbucks, convenience store, restaurants and traditional Irish pubs! There are also local parks and a canal with a nice walk on our street.
  • Fantastic place to stay whilst in Dublin. Clean and stylish room, with brilliant extra touches - cereals, tea/coffee etc for the mornings. Great location, and the hosts were excellent with communication.

    Lucy2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Fab location, check in was very handy. Pictures are very accurate and the bedroom is a good size. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a central location - it is everything you could want!!

    Lucy2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • A really nice place to stay for a weekend in Dublin. The room was very clean and Ben’s mom is extremely helpful.

    Camille2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay in Dublin at Ben’s house. We had the whole basement floor to ourselves and were left undisturbed for the entirety of our trip. The room was cosy and warm every night when we got in from our nights out at the local pubs, however the bathroom was almost always freezing due to the fan outlet which exposed the room to the temperature outdoors. It had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. It was about a 15/20 minute walk to the centre. Dublin is quite a small city so we had no issue walking everywhere but on the one night we were out too late to want to walk home in the bitter cold, it was more than easy to hop on public transport and get back. We’d stay here again if we were to ever come back to Dublin!

  • Excellent location in a lovely area

    Gillian2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Ben's place was a great place to stay during my 2 nights in Dublin. Great location which is in close enough walking distance to the centre but also in a quiet place with a convenience shop close by. The apartment was clean and the check in was easy .

    Katie2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice room in a lovely house. Everything was tidy and clean. Even though the location is a little far from the city centre, there are many options to conveniently get around.

  • I rented Mary's place for my mum and brother who came over for two weeks around Christmas time. I was looking for a flat close to us and the location was just perfect for our needs. We could walk from one place to the other many times during the day. The flat was sparkling clean and it had everything they needed for their stay. The bathroom was bigger than I expected and there were nice touches around the place. Mary is an amazing host. She was just out of the hospital and still she was super responsive to all our queries, she was in touch on many occasions to make sure we were fine and we didn't need anything. She came over after a week to change the linen and give fresh towels. Also she has maps and brochures for tourists in the flat. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at her place. Thank you for making our Christmas reunion easy and smooth. We'll probably rent it again in the future. :)

  • Mary was a wonderful host. She was always available to help us when we needed it. She gave us excellent pointers about nearby stores and restaurants. Everything is pretty much at a walking distance from her place. We hardly ever used the public transport. The apartment is perfectly located, it was spotless, and well equipped for our long stay. We'd choose her place again without even thinking about it!

This Studio space offers comfortable quiet accommodation in leafy central Dublin. 3 minute walk from Leeson St. 15 minute walk from St Stephens Green & Grafton St. Easy access to city and to the many restaurants in Ranelagh. IMPORTANT NOTICE from Host: In mid February 2018 Air BnB introduced a major redesign of their website. While the overall effect of the redesign is positive, some aspects of the redesign can leave a prospective guest confused. See "OTHER THINGS TO NOTE" below.
This is one of two similar Self Contained Studio/Bedsits for one person available at this property. There are also two other Self Contained Studio/Bedsits No. 2 & 3, (slightly larger) for two people on the same corridor. The space contains: 1. A bedroom with single bed adjoining an en suite, toilet, shower and sink, with hair dryer along with a fixed or hand held mirror. 2. A small sitting room area with easy chairs, dining table, TV (Irish Channels only) and complimentary telephone with calls to Dublin numbers only. Wired Internet access plus wireless access. 3. A small closed off kitchenette with small electric cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, sink with delft and cutlery. The kitchenette is a basic back up amenity presuming that guests will be eating out for their main meals. It would not be suitable for regular daily preparation of meals at home.
Ranelagh is a leafy suburb of Dublin just south of the Grand canal. Originally a village, it was incorporated into the city of Dublin in the 19th century. In 1785 the first manned balloon flight in Ireland took off from Ranelagh and landed in Clontarf on the north side of the city. The rented property is a 10 minute walk to Ranelagh village with its many fashionable restaurants and small shops. Just over ten minutes in the other direction and you are at the gates of Stephens Green having walked through fashionable Leeson Street with its clubs and restaurants. A further five to ten minutes and you find yourself in Grafton Street to do you shopping and heading on to Trinity College for the famous book of Kells.
  • Everything perfect, very tidy, clean. Excellent communication. Eamon very attentive and helpful.

    María Del Mar2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Eamon was a perfect host, available, welcoming, flexible and in the same time very respectful of your privacy. He makes you feel at home even if you're miles away from your place. I really enjoyed the studio, perfectly located in a quiet area where you can walk safely at night. I was able to reach the city center every day by foot, but the LUAS (tram) is also less than 10min walk. It's perfect for a work week in Dublin as it was my case. It's really clean, well accomodated (toaster, dishes, microwave, private bathroom, little desk, hair drier, filtered water, and you can have access on demand to the bigger kitchen). All these little details that counts. Special mention to the serious respect of waste sorting and spirit of the house in general! Warmly recommanded !

    Elsa2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Good location. Everything needed in a sweet studio flat. Great hospitality

    Miles2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Eamon is a wonderful host. He was very welcoming when I arrived and gave me fantastic recommendations for things to do in Dublin and how to get around. The bedsit is very clean and well maintained. The location is quite good, with shops and restaurants very nearby with quick access to the city by bus or tram (or even on foot). Overall, I would absolutely recommend this listing.

    Simon2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • The location is exceptional- a few minutes' walk from the centre of Dublin, yet quiet & residential - & also on the edge of Ranelagh, with its shops and restaurants. Closeness to public transport (including Air coach to Dublin Airport) is a huge plus. The flats are thoughtfully designed, compact, well equipped, tasteful and comfortable. Also provided: filtered water, ironing facilities and laundry for long-term guests. The priority given to security, lighting and the comfort of guests makes one feel very welcome & safe. Eamon's detailed instructions before arrival, explaining transport, location and facilities, were extremely helpful; on arrival, he was ready to assist in every way. I highly recommend these marvelous apartments and Eamon's warm and generous welcome. An amazing place to stay and a very helpful host.

    Jennifer2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Eamon‘s place (Coudrin House) is highly recommended by me as a female solo traveller with the aim of exploring Dublin without needing to participate in the liveliness of Dublin‘s nightlife. The location is in a very quiet, yet central area of the city. It‘s only a 30 minutes walk to e.g. Temple Bar (if you look for touristic attractions) and there are also frequent operating means of transport, either bus or tram, which make you go there a little faster. Eamon is an absolutely kind and careful host. Communication was always and immediately given for any questions I had. The studio is cozy and all of it is very clean. It contains a small kitchen facility that includes a fridge and even a microwave plus a small oven for preparing meals. There are various supermarkets nearby which all in all makes it a perfect place for self-supply. In case I return to Dublin, I‘ll chose this accommodation again. Thanks Eamon for letting me have as a guest.

    Simone2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • If you're traveling alone, you are lucky to be able to be in this appartement. There is public transport quite near, but in a 15 minute walk you are in the park 'St. Stepans Green', and in 20 minutes in the shopping area 'Graftonstreet'; I hardly used the tram and busses. The place itself has everything you need, it's like a Tiny House.

Beautiful converted attic space with private en-suite in our Victorian home . Great views of the neighbourhood and surrounds through the two velux windows. We are located in Ranelagh, a bustling and trendy neighbourhood with an array of pubs, restaurants and cafes, a stones throw from the city centre. Grab the LUAS (tram) from the bottom of our road and be in the city centre in just 6 minutes. If you’re looking for peace and tranquility close to the action then our place is for you!
We live in a beautiful Victorian red brick house which dates back to the late 1800s. And has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. You'll be staying in the converted attic space tucked away at the top of the house. Be aware that there will be two flights of stairs to climb but we can help you with your luggage!
We live five minute walk from Ranelagh's main street. Ranelagh is as close a city suburb as you can get, a stone's throw from the action. It's a decidedly trendy and cosmopolitan neighbourhood with a plethora of great and interesting pubs and restaurants to choose from.
  • This is one of the best places you could stay at in Dublin. The location was perfect. 4 stops to the city centre. Also, the nearby village was a perfect place to mingle with locals. Coffee at Nick’s and a pint at Smith’s was how I started and ended my days respectively. Highly recommended. The attic was nice and cozy also. They are brilliant hosts and are excellent to communicate with.

  • I simply had a wonderful time - Rick knows what travellers need - all the things you often forget are there (umbrella, socket adaptor). Besides the room is well layed out, the bed is super comfy & the provided kettle & tea is really handy. Ricks tipps concerning restaurants are awesome. I never had so many good meals in a holiday. The location is super - quiet but in 5min walk you have many superb restaurants and within 20min you are in Dublin center. I fully recommand staying with Rick.

  • My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and had a great time. The room was clean, cozy, and warm. Rick met us when we checked in and gave us some local tips. The location was our favorite part of our stay - a two minute walk to the light rail station which can get you around the city much faster than the other transit options in Dublin. Not a far walk from restaurants and bars too. Definitely recommend!

    Mara2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Rick greeted us at the door and was very helpful. He offered to take our bags to the room, he walked us to the room and offered local tips about the area. He was very enthusiastic which made us feel we were safe and in good hands. Also, our phone charger stopped working and he leant us his own charger within 5 minutes of asking! Thank you Rick:))

  • Really stylish and spacious apartment with great ambiance and view! The room was very clean with lots of space to hang up clothes etc In terms of the location, it’s a little bit away from the city centre but there’s a tram just across the river which I used to get pretty much anywhere. Unfortunately there was no hot water for the 5 nights I was there otherwise all was good.

    Casey2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Elo’s place was absolutely fantastic! No problems with communication, a nice self-check in system and it’s located in a great area! Only minutes walk from 3Arena, close to tram and train stations and in a beautiful area that has local cafes, restaurants and bars only a short walk away. I was a solo traveler and it was perfect! The hosts made my stay welcoming and comfortable. The room is a bit bigger than I expected from the photos and it has a lot of storage options such as a wardrobe and drawers. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to explore Dublin and see a show at 3Arena haha ☺️☺️

Minimum Stay 14 days Feel like you are staying in a mini-luxury hotel at this home, experience the relaxed ambiance of our lobby room with Bose Sound system, 55inch smart TV and amply sumptuous velvet sofas and armchairs. We have our friendly housekeeper to ensure 5 star cleaning standards, luxury hotel quality sheets and soft towels all included. Share a Nespresso coffee, or a glass of wine and some local cheese at the rustic farmhouse table in our fully equipped kitchen .
The concept of the house is the offer a unique 5 star experience and accommodation to visitors to our beautiful city. All rooms are designed to be trendy, comfortable and light. They feature smart TV's and are Netflix enabled. All our rooms are light filled and no bathroom shares with more than 1 other bedroom, so no queuing required!
Located between both Rathmines and Rathgar you have the best of both trendy neigbourhoods, with easy access to the city centre.. what more could you want? Neighbouring Rathmines might be a touch more fashionable, but Rathgar is enviably classy, and has lots of village-like local spots to explore. Kanem (Thai) and Mahek (Indian) are the area’s more international eateries, and both exude flavour. The Flower Bowl is an extravagant local florist worth sticking your head in through the door just for the scent. The Revolution offers family-friendly dining, and Runzone is a haven for athletes. Finish at Comans Pub, which is a local institution. - Stock up and learn to cook at Butler’s Pantry This small local chain is the perfect stop-off for a cake, bread or some spectacular hampers, but it’s their occasional demonstrations to really watch out for. Butler’s Pantry‘s demos might delve into anything from stew to cakes, and serve as a great introduction to cooking with Irish ingredients. They’re a fantastic stop-off for short-term guests in Airbnb-style accommodation, too, as they serve up a ready-to-cook selection of menus that save waste and make your life easy when you get in from a day of exploring. Keep an eye out for their regular recipes on the website.

House was built in 1910 and retains its period features. It has a historic connection with Michael Collins. Bathrooms have just been upgraded with a bath with shower in one and a power shower in the second. House is a 25 minute walk from Grafton Street and 15 minutes from the Aviva Stadium. Herbert Park is just a 5 minute stroll and there are many local restaurants and pubs.
There are great coffee shops, restaurants and pubs within a short walking distance. Herbert Park is on the doorstep.
  • If you do not choose to stay with Colm, then you will truly be missing out on a great opportunity. This may be my 21st Air BnB experience, and it was the best. About the host: Colm knows what it is to be a great host, and goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are happy and comfortable. He is extremely friendly, kind, attentive, and a great conversationalist. He is also very happy to help with information regarding transportation to/from airport, the city center, etc., and information regarding Dublin sightseeing. Perfect host for an independent introvert (like me) and extroverts alike. About the Amenities: first, the room I stayed in was very nicely decorated, and the bathroom was renovated - both were bright and made the stay all that much more comfortable. Colm keeps the Air BnB private room, bathroom, and parlor (with a working fireplace to be used!) *extremely* clean. It feels like staying in a cozy hotel (which is awesome because of the reasonable price!). Fresh towels, around the clock espresso machine, ten or so types of tea and hot water at the ready, breakfast bars, liters of water (which Colm constantly refills so you have a fresh liter whenever you are finished with the last), shampoo/conditioner, and even wine glasses and cork screw all available. About Location: Colm’s home is located in a beautiful area of Dublin. It is a really pretty walk from his place to the city center (Trinity College, museums, Saint Stephens Green, Temple Bar, etc.) and not long at all (approx 30 min which goes by fast because of the scenery). The neighborhood is very safe and extremely quiet (a nice respite from the loud excitement that is Dublin). A skittish person myself, I felt perfectly safe walking from Temple Bar area/ city center back home every night alone (and as a woman, this says a lot). 100% would stay again! Thank you, Colm!

    Kathleen2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Can only recommend to stay at Colm’d place. Not only is the house nicely decorated, with coffee machine and tea bags available, but Colm was truly helpful and answered very quickly.

    Stephanie2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • 30 minutes walkable distance to the center and a beautiful room with a spotless clean bathroom. Colm was a very welcoming host and we felt at home from day one. We will definitely stay at Colm’s place again when coming back to Dublin. Thanks again for everything, Colm!

    Zoe2020-03-02T00:00:00Z

Newly refurbished second floor unit 5 mins walk to Temple Bar, Trinity college & close to all tourist attractions & O'Connell st just 20 min walk. Featuring keyless, digital entry, & self-check in, high-speed wifi & TV, the apartment has all you need to explore from & cook, shower & sleep comfortably in. With a cosy living space to relax in, plus a sofa bed, this suits people who travel light and want to be close to the action without breaking the budget. Great value and super central location.
PLEASE NOTE - the bathroom is only accessible via the bedroom. Please consider this when booking for guests intending to use the sofa bed in the living room. When booking for groups of 3 or more, this apartment is more suited to people who won't be bothered by the compact size of the apartment, or the bathroom access issues. Paper towels are not provided - this is a choice for the environment and the future. We do not supply face cloths, sorry - our linen company does not stock them. The space consists of a one-bed apt with own front door access. When you walk in the lobby of the building, it is up one flight of stairs on the first floor (no lift, sorry). In the apartment you have the Living Room With Big Sofa Bed, Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom..
Due to it's most central location, this neighborhood is always popular with travellers, international students and locals. Whilst well within walking distance of most attractions, the area is generally more suited to younger travellers or people who are comfortable in diverse, city crowds, populated by people of all classes and creeds. Being so close to Temple Bar, Heuston Sation and many working class pubs, you may see some quite intoxicated locals, but they really are just on their own journey and keep to themselves. Some guests have reported feeling unsafe at night because of this, yet to this day, we have hosted over 1500 travellers without a single report of harm or confrontation ever occurring. This can be validated by checking the many other Airbnb's closeby. The house is in the Liberties which is one of Dublin’s oldest and most fascinating areas which is a short walking distance to many historical attractions such as Christchurch Cathedral, Teelings Whiskey Distillery, Jameson Distillery, Guinness Storehouse, St. Patricks Cathedral and Kilmainham Gaol. There are also many café’s, restaurants and bars around the area, which is home to the famous Liberty Market (Thursday-Saturday) and many shops and eateries. There is also a flea market which takes place in Newmarket Square on the last Sunday of every month and this would take approximately 5 minutes to reach by foot. This area is very popular with tourists considering its history and how centrally located it is, it really is a perfect location if you are looking to visit and experience all of what this great city has to offer.

This is a clean, comfortable, bright and spacious studio with a double bed. The studio is on the top floor of the house, has just been newly refurbished and is next door to Sandymount DART (Train) Station which gives you direct access to exploring anywhere in Dublin right on the door step.
This space is newly refurbished, super clean & comfortable and is a great place to stay while in Dublin. Note: The house is literally next to the railway line and the trains can be heard when passing. Trains run daily from 6am to 11:30pm.
The house is right next door to the train (DART) station that can take you all over Dublin (or Ireland!). Only 3 stops on the train (less than 10 mins.) and you are in the heart of Dublin City. The house is 2 minutes walk from the RDS Arena. It is 15 minutes walking to the Aviva Stadium or 2 minutes on the train (1 stop away). The house is also less than 10 minutes walk to Sandymount village where you will find a supermarket, shops, chemists, hairdressers, park, bars and pubs, etc. Sandymount beach is 15 minutes walking from the house and is perfect for taking nice scenic walks along the strand.
  • Great stay, very prompt communication and easy to deal with Peter. The location is exceptional, right beside the train station with quick access to the entire city. You can feel the train going past in the mornings but if that’s not an issue for you then you’ll be really happy to book this place.

  • Great studio apartment on the top floor. Right on the train line which was good and bad, but I knew going in that there was noise. Trains run roughly every 15 minutes from 6am till midnight. It'll shake the windows and rattle the house a bit, but it goes by really quickly. This place was really clean with extra blankets and fresh towels. I'd stay here again if I ever return to Ireland! Thank you for hosting us!

  • Enjoyed our one night stay. Easy to get to and Peter was always quick to respond. Clean, comfortable and close to embassy area of Dublin and DART which was perfect for us. Jake2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Let me start by saying, this is hands -down the best room one can get for the money in Dublin! That being said as much as I appreciated the hotel-like quality of the lodging, the terraces (yes, there is more than one) and the views of the river Liffey, and the Grand Canal docks - the accommodation is far from being the best thing about this Airbnb. What really steals the show are the hosts - spending time with them was the real treat here. Lovely people and truly genuine characters I felt privileged to be in their company. We shared a meal, we sang, we laughed and told a story. On the accommodation - it is very conveniently located in one of the best and most expensive parts of Dublin. Short walk from the Airlink bus stop leading to and from the airport. Short walk from everything really. The perfect base for anyone to explore Dublin. The room is big, very suitable for a couple, and very clean. The flat offers a fully functional kitchen and there is a washing machine and a dryer which is important if you’re staying longer. The pictures don’t really do it justice, the flat’s ceilings are very high and the panoramic windows open-up the place to the riverfront with morning sunlight flooding in. Highly recommend staying here. I also owe a special thank you to the lovely and charming Giuliana who took care of me when I arrived there - thanks love :)

The house was nice and clean, the house is shared with the family but at the same time we had a lot of privacy. I highly recommend staying at Kitty’s :)

    Dublin 6, County Dublin, Ireland

This stunning recently renovated home offers a huge base for big families or groups in central Dublin. A perfect location in beautiful Ranelagh, you can reach the city's sites (Temple Bar/Liffey River/Guinness etc) with a scenic 30 minute walk or 20 minute bus/tram ride. Renovated to high standards combining period charm & modern style. 6 large double rooms across 3 levels + extra sofa bed. Vast communal kitchen/dining room, separate living room & 2 modern bathrooms + small back garden.
This beautiful late Georgian/Regency Town House has been renovated to update the beautiful period detail with modern facilities. The 3 levels of the house feature 6 double bedrooms all of very similarly large size, furnished with double bed, wardrobe and bedside tables. Period features including beautiful Georgian windows and indoor fireplaces have been incorporated into the modern renovation and give the home great charm and unique style. The house features a small back garden space offering much needed private outdoor space with a westerly aspect this is great for sun in the afternoon and you will have the added benefit of comfortable cushioned outdoor furniture. Bedrooms are all of a very similar good size around 12.5 m2 on average, with nice views and period features. All 6 rooms can be configured to connect with their adjoining rooms, for families, if required. The living room can be subdivided into 2 smaller spaces, one containing the Flatscreen TV and comfortable seating, and the other featuring a fold out sofa bed with a 120cm x 200cm mattress offering a snug bed for 2 or a very comfortable bed for 1. Since this room can be partitioned off its a comfortable option for large groups wanting comfortable, private sleeping spaces. Please refer to our reviews to see how happy people have been with our space. We quote from a recent review in September 2018: "We were on a business trip and it was PERFECT. We actually closed two deals after dinner/drinks at nearby restaurants around the kitchen table (ie we weren’t afraid to bring people back to this place and in fact it impressed the people who visited us). The place is very well maintained. This place is surrounded by million dollar homes with families so I wouldn’t use it to party. The bedroom’s are huge as are the common areas to socialize. It had everything we needed. The host was very quick to communicate. Overall the best place we have stayed in Dublin via Airbnb!"
Ranelagh village is a beautiful gentrified area with many local amenities and fantastic travel connections. Its positioning in south Dublin means you are just a walk away from all the attractions of the city but with a 'village style' atmosphere.
  • Thanks for a wonderful stay, the house is beautiful and in a great location with plenty of amenities nearby. Would recommend.

    Nia2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The house is great for groups and it's location meant it was easy for us to get around Dublin via public transport. I would throughly recommend.

    Anna2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great property in super location. Loved the town feel to the location. Hosts couldn’t have done more.

    Eddie2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Dwayne welcomed us on behalf of Omar. We were able to move into the apartment 1 hour earlier and Dwayne gave valuable tips on how to get there, pubs, etc. We were also able to check out 1 hour later than originally planned. The apartment is super spacious, modern and very clean. There is also a kitchen with all the necessary equipment for guests (huge table, plate, cutlery, etc.) and a large living and dining area. The location is cool, Renalagh has a lot of pubs, cafes and restaurants, it's a hip area. Within 20 minutes you are directly in Temple Bar, as the tram station is close. There were 6 house keys for the guests. Highly recommended for a larger group! Thanks a lot!

  • This part of town is perfect, with local shops, pubs and grocery within a few blocks. There is easy access to downtown Dublin using the tram system. The house is spacious and comfortable.

    Linda2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay couldn’t have been better. We were a family of five adults and three kids and had ample space. The neighborhood was perfect — loads of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores within a five minute walk, and just a 30 min walk or very fast bus to Trinity. Dwayne was extremely helpful with advice for transport, sightseeing, and everything in between. He even went out of his way to mail us medication we’d accidentally left behind. Incredibly helpful and thoughtful hosts.

    Beth2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Very good accommodation. Living up to expectations. The hosts are very attentive to everything

    David2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our trip to Ireland was a great success due to the fact also that Omar’s place was very convenient, central, easy to get to and very helpful with a few issues we had due to parking but he sorted it out straight away. We were 14 in total but all had our own rooms and felt very comfortable with clean bedding and extra towels if we needed. The house was stylish and modern and warm throughout with heating in every room ( which we could adjust if we wanted). They were very friendly and helpful with suggestions as to what to do in the area and good choices in where to eat. Also very close to food shops literally 2 minute walk from the house. I would certainly recommend this place and would stay there again if I had to visit Ireland.

Small and modern studio apartment that is located 15 minutes walk from St Stephen's Green Park in Dublin's City Centre. The studio apartment is on the 5th floor of an 1970's apartment block situated in the Mespil Estate. The estate itself is quite dated but the location is very central and safe. The apartment is very secure with an up to date centralised fire alarm system. It's an ideal base to explore Dublin, and there are some great pubs and restaurants around the corner.
  • Best Airbnb host I’ve had - thanks Jerry for a great stay!

    Sophie2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Not only the apartment is nice but also the host is very nice and helpful. Park and supermarket are about 10 minutes away. The apartment is good value for money and I will book again if the dates meet my schedule.

    Liangmi2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Nice little flat, just a 15 min walk to Dublin City Center and about 25-30 mins to Temple Bar. It has a cute kitchen with all the amenities you need for a nice breakfast, a spar supermarket is within 5 mins walking distance. All in all the flat was very clean and is great for a weekend stay in Dublin!

    Johanna2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Jerry greeted us at our bus stop and helped us make reservations at a great local restaurant! Short walk to some fun local bars and fantastic places to eat. The space was perfect to experience Dublin for the first time. We would definitely book again.

  • This is a great Compact one bedroomed appartment, which includes all the essentials including a Hair Dryer😊😊😊 It is brilliantly located just off Mespil Road,Baggott St. You can walk to Grafton St,Stephen's green in around 15 mins. Lots of Cheap & cheerful Restaurants to choose from and if you wish there are plenty of the middle to High end Restaurants also. We opted for Boojum, and had Mexican Burrito Bowls, which were Damn tasty. This is located on Mespil Road. We just stayed the one Night, the apartment was clean, comfortable & cosy. Our Host -Jerry facilitated a slightly earlier "Check in" for us as we had travelled from the West and were going to a a lunchtime Theatre Production at the Gaiety Theatre. We would definitely consider booking this apartment again becuase of the Convenience the area offered.

    Belinda2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay with Jerry was amazing! I lived in Dublin while studying and wanted to visit the city again. The location is ideal; close to the center but quite at night and a nice environment. Jerry really is a superhost; he came to pick us up at the bus stop, walked us to the studio where he also left us some treats (such as breakfastrolls, chocolates, crisps and some sparkling water). Next to that he gave us some good advice on where to have breakfast and dinner close to the studio. We had breakfast at the Canal House which was wonderful. The studio is just perfect, for a weekend stay, but even for a longer period of time. We will definitely be back ! Thanks Jerry !

    Esmé2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment which turned out to be even bigger than I expected, good heating which is very important for an apartment in Dublin :), nice snacks left by the host. Jerry was a great and very welcoming host.

Great area, lovely home. From time to time I also have a second room to rent. Just enquire
Its just about the best place to live in Dublin. Everything is on your doorstep, including lovely restaurants, lively pubs, barista cafes, and 20 mins walk through Georgian Dublin to St. Stephens Green, which is the main pedestrianised shopping area on the south side of the city and River Liffey.
  • Mary’s place was wonderful. The location is great, easy to get into town but you’re not surrounded by noise. The check in was super smooth and I knew what to expect long before I got there. The house was warm, clean and friendly and I had a lovely morning chat with Mary before setting out to explore Dublin.

    Phil2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay. Very convenient for tourists / city visitors. Recommended!

    Laura2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • The room and the house are conformed to the description. Mary is a caring host. The emplacement of the house is really good. And what you can need around.

    Amandine2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Marys place is super cosy, location is great - and she as a host friendly and easygoing! This would definitely be a place to come back to if I go to Ireland. Thank you Mary for this week!

    Rebecka2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The location works well for a short walk into Dublin for all the sights and access to transit (bus' and train, DART).

    Richard2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Mary's place is in a great location. The space is a 5 minute walk from the Greenline tram, so getting into the city center is easy. Ranelagh is vibrant with lots of restaurants and shops to explore. The room itself was cozy and warm and thoughtfully decorated. Mary offered helpful tips on restaurants and gave me info so I could order a taxi for a very early morning departure. All in all, a nice experience. I would stay again.

    Kate2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely and clean, great area, highly reccomend.

    Adam2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • I recommend Mary's accommodation for anyone who can climb the stairs, satisfied with nice, small rooms. The whole house exudes harmony, tranquility and Mary has great confidence, because all rooms and rooms are open, even in their absence. Residential area is great. The center of Dublin can be reached on foot in 15-20 minutes. In Ranalagh itself there are also good shops, restaurants. I will go to Dublin more often and I will always choose Mary's accommodation.

  • This place was great. Very spacious, really comfortable bed, and excellent location. John was brilliant to deal with!

    Sarah2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • The place is very nice and well tidy. The communication was very good, John was very attentive and let us know that he was there for anything we need. Quiet area and with the supermarket a few blocks away. The internet connection works perfectly. I would recommend it without hesitation.

    Martin2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • I had such a lovely couple of days here, the flat was clean, really spacious, great black out blinds in the bedroom and really strong shower. The only thing I’d say is bring shampoo as it said there’d be those kind of things available but there wasn’t, still, shop right nearby. The location was ace too, only about a 10/15 min walk to the canal and town (at my pace anyway) and 2 min walk to shops, pubs, Luas and buses, Ranelagh village is so nice too. Under a tenner in a taxi back from central Dublin at night too. Communication was really easy too, would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

    Cli2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • More than anything, John and Sinead’s place was in the perfect location for anyone planning on walking Dublin, rather than paying for transit or taxi. We walked exclusively and only ever had to take a short bus ride to the airport on our first and last day there. John was always in touch, easy to contact if there was any questions or concerns, and let us enjoy our trip. Great place!

    Colin2019-08-29T00:00:00Z

This refurbished Studio space offers comfortable quiet accommodation in leafy central Dublin. Two minute walk from Leeson St. Fifteen minute walk from St Stephens Green & Grafton St. Easy access to city and many restaurants in Ranelagh. See "OTHER THINGS TO NOTE" below.
This is one of two similar Self Contained double bed Studio/Bedsits suitable for two people. There are also two other Self Contained Studio/Bedsits (slightly smaller) for one person on the same corridor. The space contains: 1. A bedroom with a double bed adjoining an en suite, toilet, shower and sink, with hair dryer along with a fixed or hand held mirror. The double bed measures 6 feet 6 inches by 4 feet and would not be suitable for a couple used to a large double or King size bed. 2. A small sitting room area with easy chairs, dining table, a TV Box, (Sports, News & Film package) and complimentary telephone with calls to Dublin numbers only. Wired Internet access plus wireless access. 3. A small closed off kitchenette with electric cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, sink with delf and cutlery. The kitchenette is a basic back up amenity presuming that guests will be eating out for their main meals. It would not be suitable for regular daily preparation of meals at home. 4. While this Bedsit is suitable for a short term stay for two people who are out and about most of the time, it should be noted that if at home you are used to a large house, I imagine that you will find this double bedroom ensuite and sitting room quite small.

    Anne2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Naomi was a fantastic host. Her place was better than I could have dreamed of. She had sweet Christmas decorations on the fireplace, thoughtful touches of tea, coffee, biscuits and jam were left in the kitchen and umbrellas to help battle the rain. I was here for a work trip so being within walking was key. There were shops and restaurants within walking distance and I could always get a cab easily. I'd highly recommend this place!

  • Very much enjoyed my stay at Roma’s in the fantastic Donnybrook neighborhood! Very accessible to city centre and the bustling Ranelagh neighborhood. The apartment was spotless and kitchen included everything I needed to make my 4 week stay feel like home. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet place to stay while visiting Dublin.

  • Good, quiet place near bus stops to take you to Dublin city center and other nearby locations. The neighborhood is nice as well. Roma was quick to communicate and answer any questions we had.

  • My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Roma's apartment. Roma was very communicative and accommodating. The apartment was lovely and perfect for our needs. I would certainly stay there again and recommend to friends.

  • We traveled to Dublin with our two little kids. Before starting our round trip in Ireland we stayed at Roma's apartment to discover Dublin. It was absolutely the right choice for us! The location of the Apartment and the nearby bus connections to the major sightseeing spots was just great. We also went to Imaginosity (Kids Museum) and Airfield Estate which was a short drive with the car from the Apartment. Parking was also no problem at all. We can only recommend this airbnb.

  • It was a pleasure to stay in Roma's apartment. Everything was as expected. The host always answered immediately, e.g. one evening I asked for a second set of keys and got it the next day. Definitely a good recommendation!

  • Roma is a great communicator, responding quickly to messages and offering very helpful advice. The apartment is spacious, clean and quiet, in a lovely residental area with lots of parking available right outside. Supermarkets and bus services to the city and the airport are closeby so although it is a little way outside the city, it is still very convenient to everything. The beds are very comfortable, and my son and I felt very much at home there. I would recommend to others and love to come back to stay another time.

Luxurious private bedroom and bathroom in our beautifully red brick, Victorian home which has been recently renovated to a very high standard. We are located in Ranelagh, a bustling and trendy neighbourhood with an array of pubs, restaurants and cafes, a stones throw from the city centre. Grab the LUAS (tram) from the bottom of our road to be right in the city centre in just 6 minutes. If you're looking for peace and tranquility a short distance from the action then our place is for you!
This house dates back to the 1800's (Victorian times) and has recently been refurbished while maintaining the beautiful period features.
We live five minute walk from Ranelagh's main street. Ranelagh is as close a city suburb as you can get, a stone's throw from the action. It's a decidedly trendy and cosmopolitan neighbourhood with a plethora of great and interesting pubs and restaurants to choose from.
  • Our stay was lovely: the room was absolutely lovely, spotless, quiet, and great bathroom too. Super cosy and comforting, just what we wanted for our long weekend. Would thoroughly recommend a stay!
