  • Our stay was such a fantastic experience and we loved every second. Such a great place and we will definitely be back. Thoughtful touches throughout and the place is super unique and an overall standout. Clean, neat and modern facilities with a generous breakfast and beautiful surrounding areas to visit and take in the sights. Kind regards, James

  • The tree house was amazing and your courtesy.. second to none, already recommended the tree house to everyone I know, and honestly thank you so much for letting us borrow the kanoe! What a day... ps. Glad you enjoyed the pizza I sent there by mistake hahah!

  • Nice relaxing place to stay 😊

  • Stunning property! I stay for a week and had the best break! The view is unbelievable! Highly recommend :)

  • I was there only for one night as a get away from the city. Amazing location for a nature retreat not too far from city. The architecture of this tree house is so unique that it makes the experience unique. Belinda was super responsive and gave me walk recommendations not too far from the house with access to the Royal NP.

    David2020-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • Belinda and Adam were warm and friendly hosts, leaving nice extra touches including a fruit basket, tasty bread, chocolates and more. They also let us use their family canoe to explore the lake a little and there is a guitar in the home you can practice on. Cooking there was easy, and they have all the basic pantry staples and pots and pans etc. They were super helpful with anything we needed. The Tree House overlooks their family home but still feels private and we were lucky to wake up to a beautiful view with lots of birds chatting each morning. My only ''oh no'' moment was discovering the shower was a little temperamental in temperature management, but this really didn't detract from what was a wonderful stay for us. I highly recommend this place to others wanting a nature escape not far from the city!

    K2020-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • We were lucky this stylish treehouse property was available, and absolutely made the most of it! Set atop the tranquil treetops, the room itself offered breathtaking views. This place had it all; a modern kitchen/bathroom, smart TV, super comfy bed etc. Not to mention they had a canoe for us to borrow for a peaceful paddle down in the river below. Belinda and Adam were amazing hosts and very accommodating. I would love to stay again when I have the chance.

    Tarzan2020-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • Had the most amazing time from the moment we got there. What a stunning place, view was beautiful. You can have a little walk down to the jetty as well. Belinda was lovely. Had a great time would love to go back.

    • • • The Stables sits in a quiet, semi-rural residential area on the Central Coast of NSW. It’s so named due to its previous life as a shelter and stables for the horses that lived on the property. Such was the quality of the hardwood poles, frame and palings that every part of the original structure was re-used. With the timber sanded and brought back to its former glory a truly hidden gem began to emerge. Chris from Hooked on Carpentry, who poured his heart and soul into the project, said it was the nicest he’d ever completed! A short walk to the end of our road brings you to Katandra Reserve. Walk through the subtropical rainforest till you reach Mt Elliot lookout for a spectacular view over the valley and out to the Pacific Ocean. There are many great restaurants and cafes within a very short distance of The Stables: Six String Brewery is a 10 min walk away. Here you can enjoy a delicious meal while sampling some of their famed craft beer. They also run tours of the brewery on Saturdays at 11am. The Tame Fox is a unique cafe/restaurant at The Industry Grounds Erina (3min drive) For the best coffee on the Coast checkout Glee Coffee Roasters cafe in Erina Heights (5min drive) Next door to Glee is a great little restaurant called BamVino. Renowned for their seriously good pizzas and varied menu to suit any taste. Bamboo Buddha in Holgate is an outstanding vegetarian/vegan cafe only a 5min drive away. Set in a serene Bali style garden featuring Koi and goldfish ponds this cafe is a truly unique experience. A 10min drive brings you to Terrigal which has a vibrant nightlife and many great bars and restaurants. Fountain Plaza Erina has an array of excellent restaurants and take away options. It is a short 5min drive away. These include; Guzman y Gomez (Mexican) New York Pizza Bar Grill Yume Modern Japanese Cheeky Charlie’s Remy & Co (Italian) Quattro Restaurant
  • Thankyou to Gib and Toni for this wonderful stay. It was better than we expected. From the outdoor views to the stylish design indoors, this is a stay you do not want to miss. Highly recommend!

Ever wandered what it's like to live on a picturesque Apple Orchard or Hobby Farm? Well now is the time to find out! We will be providing you with the most unique and sort after farm stay experience. Stay in luxury and style while soaking up your own private blue mountains escarpment views. You're free to explore the Orchard and our secret lookout. Wonder through the apple trees, meet the animals or just sit and enjoy the cozy fire place with a glass of wine.
Sitting inside the tastefully restored Machinery Shed is like sitting under the stars as the ceiling is adorned with fairy lights. This stunning Machinery shed is located on the oldest remaining apple orchard on shipley plateau. Built in 1919 it has had a new lease on life. Set up for a romantic couples stay. The house faces iconic blue mountains cliffs and looks down on to the Kanimbla valley. Enjoy a bottle of champagne as you soak in the freestanding stone bathtub looking out on the the view and bush. Cuddle up by the fire under the fairy lights and enjoy the private oasis or watch the sunset by the outdoor fire pit. We now have wifi and Telstra TV. Please note we only provide enough wood to get the fire going. You will need to purchase extra if you wish to use it all night. Firewood can be purchased from the local service stations, Hardware or the Friendly Grocer in town.
We are on 25 acres so you will not see much of the neighbours. It's a quiet little area
  • Surrounded by the most stunning views of the Blue Mountains, this place is a must stay if you’re planning a trip filled with rest and relaxation with your loved one.

  • Wonderful place, amazing view, very calm and quiet. We felt far away, isolated but so close to Blackheath village.

    Marie2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Location was stunning; and the views were amazing! Very stylish place and super cosy. Lottie the Mareema is the best, and up for a scratch - we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!

    Brad2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend, it's beautiful.

    Stefan2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • This is an exceptional spot - I've stayed many times in the Blue Mountains over more than twenty years and this rates top for me. The views are extraordinary, ever-changing and the area around the farm is untouched by the recent bushfires, making it an oasis of lush green. The accommodation is very well appointed and very quiet and private. Asia was an excellent host and answered our questions extremely promptly. We appreciated the farm produce and luxurious bath supplies. We enjoy cooking and there is everything you need here if you want to stay put and enjoy the beautiful location. You can experience the beauty of the mountains here without getting out of bed but do take the opportunity to walk down to the picnic spot as described in the House guide. We saw an Eastern Grey kangaroo on the way. There are also excellent tips for walks from Asia. If that is your thing, I would also recommend the Porters Pass, Centennial Glen Circuit nearby while the bush on the other side of Blackheath recovers from recent fires and while tracks there might be closed. Outstanding. Thank you Asia.

    Kirsten2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Just what was expected! Beautiful place and excellent hospitality!

    Kiara2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect romantic getaway with picturesque scenery, including an amazing lookout point! The farm animals were great to interact with. We loved Lottie - the Maremma sheepdog, who loved pats and playing chasy!

    Katherine2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • It is completely consistent with the photos and there is no difference. The landlord communicates very accurately beforehand. The room is very large and there is a bathtub that can directly see the Blue Mountains. This is the best memory of our trip to Australia!

    Alison2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • Vanessa's place is an absolute hidden gem. When she says it's remote, it REALLY is remote. If you're looking to unplug from the world then just bring some books, cozy up under the stars (which are incredibly clear), or take a bath with the windows all open. The view is absolutely stunning, the hospitality is amazing, cooking in the outdoor kitchen is so unique and fun, and you'll be visited by cows, kangaroos and hawks (I think) every single day. You can take a leisurely stroll and then curl up by the fire at night. Be aware that lighting is sparse at night, you'll want to bring flashlights/lanterns and maybe and portable charger as there's no electrical outlets (we just turned our phones off for the entire time). Vanessa goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are comfortable and have everything they need, even doing grocery shops and dropping things off for you if needed or charging your devices and then bringing them back. We ran into a problem getting there and she and Daryl put us on quad bikes and got us up there and then brought all our stuff up for us after (as a side note the quad bikes were so much fun). The absolute perfect hosts. I cannot stress enough how necessary getting away to a place exactly like this can be when life gets busy and stressful. It is a PERFECT unwind and I sincerely wish we never left.

    Joan2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! There’s no short way to express just how amazing this place is! Will most definitely be coming back again. It’s just one of those places where you need to see it to believe it.

    Megan2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot say enough good things about the cabin. If you are in need of a real unplug, you can’t beat this spot. The place is super clean and has all the essentials you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend visiting!

    Alex2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely amazing lil getaway spot! Def set the car trip metre, google maps only takes you 2kms in.

    Nicole2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Simply breathtaking. It’s been a while since we found somewhere so genuine and pure for a weekend getaway. A timeless, rustic feel that has everything you need. If you want to escape to the country and get away from the world, this is the place. The night stars were so breathtaking and sitting by the fire was just divine with hills all around you and cows talking to you in the distance. Even the kids were happy with no technology. 10/10. Just perfect.

    Sarka2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The location is private, remote and spectacular and the cabin offers a wonderful opportunity to experience it in a simple uncomplicated way - it evokes a pioneering spirit and is a wonderful place to simply enjoy some peaceful time while gazing at the panoramic landscape with its ever changing weather patterns.

  • Robert's place is MUCH MUCH MUCH better in person than on photos. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the property has so many different angles and great spots that you can't show all on the photos. Robert had so many incredible thoughts for his property and you get shocked once you arrive. Everything is perfect, nothing that you see in Sydney and hard to find in other parts of the World. Detail, care, cleanliness, peace, great smell, comfort, relax and much more describes Robert's place. I recommended to all my friends and yea I highly recommend a weekend getaway for you that is reading this review. Bring your spouse, partner or love one

Gorgeous boutique stay in Gerringong. Custom-built for a couple, Infinity on Willowvale has a king-size bed, spa bath for two, and huge deck to take in the views. Everything is designed for relaxation. INFINITY is located among the rolling green hills on the idyllic Willowvale Road, that boasts working dairy farms and the stunning Crooked River Winery. Just 5 minutes from the beach, you'll feel you're a million miles from everywhere.
If you're looking for a place you can unwind completely, with peaceful, luxurious touches to truly indulge, you're heading to the right place. Come and experience the tranquillity - we are brand-new, opened in December 2018. From the moment you turn into Willowvale Road and start winding your way past the vineyards of Crooked River Winery, you know you're in a very special place. Gerringong's picturesque beaches are just minutes behind you, Saddleback Mountain stretches across the sky to the north, and 2 kms along the road you reach the peaceful vistas of Infinity on Willowvale. Take in the exquisite rural views from every room or watch the magnificent sunsets from the spa bath or deck. The kitchen and outdoor BBQ mean you can cook as much or as little as you want. Note that there is no oven or stove, but there is a microwave and BBQ. INFINITY can accommodate four people, however there is no door between the bedroom and the lounge room (where the sofa bed is), and the bathroom is accessed via the bedroom. So it's an ideal space for a couple, or friends and family that don't need bedroom privacy.
The coastal Gerringong village is just three kilometres away, with cafes, markets and a great beach vibe. Gerringong boasts stunning surfing and swimming beaches. Get out the surfboard for the waves at Werri, or enjoy the pristine quieter waves of Gerroa's Seven Mile Beach.
  • Such a beautiful house to stay in, very romantic. The views were stunning, perfect for some peace and quiet without being too far away from local shops. Highly recommend staying here!

The cottage is incredible, it’s so stylish and has some very nice touches. The hosts were very nice and hospital. We are very thankful that they shared such an amazing place with us. The cottage is very near nice restaurants and beaches. Enjoy your stay here!

  • What an amazing place... We were looking for a peaceful place to spend the week end, away from noise, people, Internet connexion.. We didn't anyone during 48h and it was amazing. Just us, the treehouse and the nature around. If you are looking for the best escape, please go there! Thank you so much!

  • What a magic way to celebrate my partner's 30th birthday! After looking at the photos and reading other reviews, I had high expectations, but I was still so blown away. The treehouse looks like it's been created by witchcraft. It was a cool summer night, but the fire and blankets and hot water kept us toasty warm. The spa bath and the shower-with-a-view were both superb, and the compost toilet was absent of any bad smells. We were overall just so thrilled with the view. Watched the sunset and the (full, yellow) moon rise over the mountains and valley - mesmerising! Caroline's delivered dinner was so tasty (totally vegan!), and she was so friendly - definitely recommend getting a Caroline meal while you stay! We had visits in the morning from some black cockatoos. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

    Kat2018-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Our time in this Blue Mountain treehouse was beyond perfect. This is an ideal romantic getaway. Bring some groceries, turn off your cell phones, start a fire, and relax in the canopy.

  • My fiancé & I had an amazing stay in the treehouse! Sometimes expectation vs reality is rather different when it comes to seeing something in photos, but we were not disappointed! Such a creatively crafted treehouse, and the view was stunning! Thank you Lionel for this hidden gem. :)

Blackheath has a real village atmosphere. Its so nice to go up the street and see familiar faces, say hello and have a chat! You're never far from pretty streets, beautiful parks full of special trees and plants that have been here for decades. In the Autumn many streets become tunnels of colour – its easy to see why the cameras come out! The Memorial Park, (down Govetts Leap Road turn left at Gardiner Crescent, entrance on your right at first intersection) has the most beautiful faerie walk under huge old rhododendrons – you might feel like a pixie! A sweep of grassy hills, playgrounds, duck pond and delightful bush paths too. Great place to dream, picnic, walk and play. Campbell Rhododendron Gardens at the end of Wentworth Street are a treat too. Volunteers have loved this garden since the 1970s. It's full of rhododendrons, maples, camelias, azaleas – all planted alongside the local plants and trees – totally in harmony! You can wander the many bush paths past huge termite mounds, mossy pagoda rock formations, soaring stringybarks, tiny ferns and gorgeous local ground covers. A lovely lake reflects the sky, trees and flowers! Ahh. The Grose Velley can be viewed from many places – it's so special, you feel like you're gazing deep into the planets prehistoric past. It seems so untouched. Govetts Leap is the easiest spot at the end of Govetts Leap Road. From there you look east and no matter the weather or time of day it's very special. There is a spectacular walk to (and from) Evans Lookout which gives you another unique aspect of this very special valley. Anyway, you get the picture? Its all great! And there are lovely local cafes, restaurants, browsing shops, galleries and a great hardware store!!
  • The cottage room was excellent and stocked with all the essentials required. Grace and Peter were excellent hosts and very accommodating. The room itself is nice and clean. The location is very close to Blackheath shops and not far from Katoomba. Highly recommended for couples who would like to escape the busy city life for a weekend

  • We had a lovely stay! The studio is exactly as described, well appointed and had everything we needed. It was walking distance from plenty of places for dinner, and had a quiet place to sit outside among the trees. Grace and Peter were wonderful hosts who provided great suggestions of places to go and things to see. The breakfast supplies and bottle of wine are a generous bonus!

    Fran2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic location, only a few minutes walk to the local town and close to the highway so you can visit all the little towns throughout the mountains. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Grace and Peter have all the technology you could ever want, netflix, google home and a virtual reality console. I would stay there again if I was traveling the area.

JR's EcoHut is nestled high on a hill with 360 degree views of the beautiful Murrambidgee river flats and of the stunning Kimo valley. Perfect for couples, this glamping experience is really something special. Totally off-grid it makes efficient use of solar power to provide light and water. The stunning shower even has a killer view and with no neighbours for several kilometers you are all on your own. Kimo is a working 7000 acre farm. Breakfast included.
The architecturally designed jut is made of local timber, steel and galvanised iron and stands out yet is at one with its surroundings. The view wraps around you and you are in the landscape day or night. There is nothing like this in the world.
Stunning part of the world where the flats of the west rise up to meet the mountains of the east.
  • Architecturally designed and well thought-out. Wow what a wonderful and spectacular place this is... perfect for the cooler climes, a cosy fire, beautiful linen, hot hot shower, tea, coffee and real milk! A selection of locally grown beverages and the most amazing ready-to-cook breakfast of my wildest dreams. Little light pollution means a dazzling sky at night. All the little touches make it definite ‘value for money’ and I can’t say I’ve stayed in better accommodation in all my travels. Well done to the owners of JR’s Hut and Kimo Estate. You made our trip!!

  • One of the most romantic places i've ever been in my life. The views are incredible and to have such a place to ourself was just a wonderful experience!! 5 stars and we will definitely be back!!

    Silvio2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The place was stunning! Any issues were resolved quickly and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. A thoughtful breakfast is provided and the sheets were soft and clean. Friendly Tip: it is off the grid so no microwave or toasters etc are provided but there is a stove top outside to cook on. We went at the time of a good old Australian heat wave and struggled to stay cool. The fan is battery powered so didn’t last us long. There is a public pool nearby but probably think of ways to cool yourself before getting there (eg. portable fans, etc). We definitely will be going again but hopefully at a cooler time! Thanks again Michelle and Collin!!

  • Beautiful, clean and welcoming. I used Todd’s listing as a place to stay for a business visit and it did not disappoint. If you are in the area for tourism the location is fantastic and the house offers great amenities and ambience. I would use Todd’s listing again.

  • My favourite place to stay in the Hunter. Nothing is forgotten about. Everything is so beautiful and in place. The room feels like a home away from home, with everything you could possibly need. The hosts are so lovely and accommodating. The breakfast hamper and snacks are beyond generous. The wine is also great (had to buy some more to take home!). Could not recommended anymore.

  • This place is simply the best. If you are after peace and tranquillity stay here. I became mesmerised by the kangaroos early morning, and then the peacocks visited in the afternoon. And all the native birds and wild life. Do wear covered shoes when walking around because there are some killer ants! The outlook over the water, to the mountains, to the bush, to the vineyards - simply magical. Love the changing light and reflections during the day. The furnishings inside the cabin are quality and stylish. Breakfast provisions are more than generous. The cold bottle of semillon on arrival was perfect. This place met all my needs and more. I left with a smile on my face with all my worries gone. I will return!

  • An absolutely beautiful place with everything you could ask for. It exceeded all our expectations - especially the views, massage chair, and hot tub.

  • Can definitely say that this was one of the best stays I’ve ever had! The view was absolutely amazing and the place was exactly how it was pictured in the photos, but better in person of course! We loved the hot tub & the massage chair! Felt right at home as soon as we entered, everything was perfect.

As many face school closures and shift toward remote work, we are a work- and family-friendly place. Gymea Cottage is a 2 storey cabin. The upper deck has an ensuite bedroom, lounge and kitchen, with a gorgeous veranda sitting amongst the tree tops. The lower deck also has an ensuite bedroom, with stunning veranda & views, but a more compact lounge and kitchen. However, this room is much closer to the spa. Whichever you choose, you can indulge in your own private spa and watch the stars.
There are 2 single kayaks on-site as well as mountain bikes which you can use at your leisure to explore the property. Pure Valley is nestled between the gorge of Popran National park with the spring fed Hominy creek running through it. Whether you want to go horse back riding, abseiling, quad biking, play golf, do yoga or purely relax - the options are nearby! Due to the remoteness of the location we recommend that you do all your shopping before you arrive.
Pure valley's 125 acres is set deep with in the gorge of Popran national Park. The property offers stunning walks through the valley floor & up into the gorge. The houses sit high above the tidal Hominy creek which flows into Mangrove creek & Mangrove creek flows into the Hawkesbury river. Pure Valley is surrounded by wilderness but has all the comforts of home.
  • Fantastic experience! My partner and I were looking for an escape from Sydney, and this was the perfect spot. Everything went smoothly, and Ingridy is a lovely host. The place itself is really well thought out, which makes it feel clean, fresh and comfortable. Like a getaway, but homey. We are excited to come again.

    Drew2020-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed this beautiful stay! It was surrounded by nature and having the kayaks down by the creek made it a nice touch. Thanks Ingridy for your hospitality. The hot tub was definitely the highlight and the house itself was clean and comfortable.

    Georgia2020-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Caring, communicative host, and amazing private wilderness escape

    Matt2020-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • Pure Valley is the perfect place to relax, unwind and be at one with nature. The recently renovated apartments are clean, modern, stylish and comfortable. Being able to sit on the deck listening to the birds, owls, frogs and many other animals, or sit in the hot tub under the stars sipping on a nice glass or sparkling. It really is the place to come if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city and want to be in the middle of NSW's beautiful nature. Ingridy is an amazing host; friendly, helpful, happy and good at keeping everything in check and ensuring your stay is seamless. Make sure you bring all your food/drink with you as Pure Valley is nestled far from any local conveniences, which makes the retreat even more special and authentic.

    Shane2020-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • An amazingly private retreat for a bit of R&R. The spa and the view is most certainly the highlight. Maps for walks in the room would be amazing but nothing to fault with this place. Will be returning soon!!!!

    Sonz2020-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • Pure Valley is the perfect place to escape, surrounded by beautiful lush greenery everywhere you look! We especially loved the spa and the front balcony where you can watch the birds fly by and listen to the creek flow down below. The host Ingridy was such a sweet lady and so super helpful giving us tips on local walks and bike rides. We loved our stay here and can not wait to come back with some friends and family!

Belle-Gordon is an elegant light filled garden studio 5 minutes walk from Blackheath Village
Belle-Gordon is a newly built garden studio with separate access on a quiet cul de sac only meters from the famous ‘Fort Rock’ and 'Centennial Glen' bush walks and 5 mins walk to the train station and town. We love the village atmosphere, stunning scenery and being able to walk to cafes, pubs and local markets and hope you will too. Sit on the terrace with your bottle of complimentary bubbly and enjoy the sunset. The suite has a queen bed with beautiful linen, a claw foot bath for a deep relaxing soak, a TV to curl up in bed and watch your fav flicks (free Netflix) and a coffee machine for the morning. There is also a small fridge, microwave, toaster & kettle. The reverse cycle aircon and electric blankets means you will always be nice and comfy. We supply some gourmet muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit, local sourdough, jam /spreads & a selection of beverages so you can enjoy breakfast overlooking your own private garden before taking in the delights of Blackheath and surrounds. The studio is a short walk to great cafes in the village if breakfast out is your your preference. We have a little dog, a cat and a few chickens. None of which have access to the apartment or garden with the exception of Jemima (cat) who needs the occasional reminder that the space was not created for her! We are around most of the time and happy to chat about local must do’s or leave you in peace, your holiday your choice.
Beautiful Blackheath sits at the top of the Blue Mountains less than a 2hr drive from Sydney. Stunning vistas surprise at the end of Govett’s Leap and Evans Look Out Rds, both a short drive from the village. If gardens are your pleasure, then the Campbell Rhododendron Gardens on Bacchante St will not disappoint. Oct-Nov is recommended as the best flowering time. Blackheath has a true 4 Season climate, warm Summers, stunning Autumn colours, chilly Winters with occasional snow falls and a glorious Spring with cherry blossoms and daffodils. Foodies & gourmets are catered for too with great cafes, restaurants, bakeries and local markets. Whether you are a hardened adventurer, or out for a pleasant stroll, the walks, tracks and canyons in Blackheath and surrounds, offer a variety of outdoor activity.
  • A lovely little place tucked away in beautiful Blackheath. We enjoyed the space and the stylish decor!

  • Jen & Mal's place was one of the most special Airbnb homes we've stayed at. There were thoughtful little touches everywhere - from little notes on how to operate the appliances to a fully stocked fridge with breakfast and drinks. We wished we could have stayed a little longer to enjoy the place and the Blue Mountains!

Be mindful that it's in 2 seperate spaces so in order to get from the bathroom to the kitchen you have to go outside. No problem for us but just something to be mindful of! Thank you for having us Tracy.

  • Such an AMAZING place to spend for some relaxation time. The bedrooms both have water views and it was very clean. We woke up early enough to watch the sun rise over the water and see the birds wake up with us... all while laying in bed! It is such a beautiful escape! We went with 4 of us (2 couples) and that’s the perfect amount of people as there are 2 beds with 2 separate rooms. 100% coming back for another relaxation weekend!

Lindy provided fresh baked bread and condiments so we were set for a lovely breakfast and a coffee to start our day. As this was the accomodation for our wedding it was extra special to us and the property gave us so many lovely and relaxing memories. Thank you Lindy and John

  • This is the second time we have stayed, my husband and I have had another wonderful birthday getaway to Lindy's cottage. The view is still spectacular. The cottage is inviting and comfortable. Lindy has provided everything needed for a fantastic stay, including some delicious breakfast items. Waking up to the sunlight and birds singing, is lovely. Having breakfast out on the deck was a highlight. It is a quick drive to fabulous beaches and places to dine. We are hoping to come back again next year.

Billabong Cottage is a romantic little one bedroom cottage situated next to its own large billabong. This fully equipped cathedral ceilinged cottage has everything you need for a romantic escape. Designed to represent the Australian settler’s cottage, unique and cozy, the fully fenced verandah overlooks the water. Surrounded by bush and tucked in neatly, it is a private little oasis with a slow combustion fire, BBQ on the verandah and outdoor fire pit to enjoy a campfire in the cooler months.
With a deliciously comfy King Bed, little wood fire, or airconditioning, comfort and romance is top priority. Billabong Cottage is a very popular little gem and is rarely empty, so if you can't find availability to suit your dates, check out our other wonderful little cottages. Look for Cooee Cottage, Corroboree or Kiah Cottages, they are also very cute, private and comfy, all with their own billabong and open spaces.
The natural splendour of beautiful beaches in the Bawley region are second to none. There are many beaches to choose from – quiet and calm for families and favourite surf spots for the more adventurous. The hinterland is a true hiker’s paradise and playground. From the marked trails of close by Pidgeon House Mountain to the true wilderness trails within the Budawangs, there is something for everyone. There is much to do in this area.
  • Lovely little cottage on the edge of a billabong in a lovely setting. One of several cottages on the property but completely private, it is a wonderful place for a get away. You are fully contained with full amenities to make all your meals. No wifi but full phone service (we are with telstra). Close to shops for your needs but can also completely escape from the city and relax. Can make your own fire, hang a hammock, play a game or two of back gammon, watch tv or just chill out. Highly recommend as a wonderful short or long (we did 10 days) stay with in 3 hr drive of Sydney.

  • Gorgeous little spot for a romantic weekend away. Even better if you’ve got a runabout to explore the water ways or to go and grab dinner or lunch somewhere. Very stylish. Very quiet.

    Ingrid2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Dangar is a little haven and Leanne's shack was perfect for a weekend getaway. Communication was easy and she was very helpful, she even tried to help find alternate dates when we weren't able to stay the full booking. The shack was clean, access was as described, it was quiet and just what was needed. We enjoyed cooking up our dinner and sitting out on the front dock watching the boats and the train go past in the far off distance. We took the water taxi directly to the shack to arrive with our gear and food supplies, but the ferry home. Either way, both are easy. There is a buggy you can take from the ferry arrival spot if you are concerned about having too much baggage.

Being so close to the water was lovely and even though it rained it was still so nice to just sit there and read and watch the world go by. As mentioned; you do hear the train go by every 15 mins or so but we actually quite liked watching it go past. It wasn't a terrible sound. If anyone is wondering, like we were, the spa is up near the house. But the boathouse itself was quite private, bar people going out onto their jetty every so often to take their boats. In all it was lovely, and just what we wanted. A very relaxing few days!

Our place is close to the beach with exceptional views. You’ll love our unique lifestyle, raw, organic living spaces, chemical free living with 'free' clean ocean air. Only a short walk to the beach(s) great for those who seek a health & wellness space. This is a self contained studio adjacent to our home - the kitchenette does not include an oven or stovetop however there is a Weber baby BBQ, a toaster, microwave, fridge and sandwich maker. We offer free WiFi and Netflix.
This space is a part of a beautiful and unique hardwood timber home with uninterrupted views, a front row location on Merimbula’s Long Point and the Tasman Sea. Sunsets over the ocean are just amazing and the sunshine from the East in the morning provides warmth and light. Even the night glow and the reflections of the moonlight on the water gives a unique and special moment to take in and enjoy. Whether you are into bush walking, surfing, paddle boarding, fishing or just relaxing you will enjoy the tranquillity and natural beauty of this central location. For any yoga, massage or spa sessions we recommend booking in advance and we can send current class timetables and recommended allied health contact details. Just ask on booking or several days before your arrival. 1 night stays may be possible on request.
We are close to the beach, walks, and there is a Merimbula Wharf very close for fishing and a restaurant (night time is seasonal) We are well located close to Merimbula Airport, the town centre but most importantly great beaches and surf breaks as well as calmer coves and option for those who prefer flat water.
  • What a lovely place to stay. Sally is a great host, very accommodating and friendly. The place was clean and tidy and everything I was expecting from the photos. At night you can see the lights of Pambula across the way, and I was even lucky enough to see shooting stars at night. You won’t be disappointed staying here I can assure you, I hope to stay here again soon, what a delight it was.

  • Well-appointed and comfortable accommodation for singles or couples. Clean and tidy with views over the bay. Off-street parking was a bonus. Thanks guys.

  • Sally is a wonderful host who makes staying in her gorgeous place an even better experience. The views from her place are stunning, everything you’ll need is provided and it is so comfortable - it’s hard to tear yourself away. But there are lovely seaside walks and great coffee nearby so you do need to get out! A visit to Pambula is also worthwhile - great bakery, coffee, oysters from the lakeside growers and a wetlands to walk off the calories!

    Susan2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Sally's place is wonderful. The views were amazing and it was incredibly quiet with the windows shut. My partner and I had a great time.

    Svetlana2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • We have now stayed at Sally’s beautiful studio twice and both times have been blown away by her hospitality and the great lengths she goes to to ensure her guests have an enjoyable stay. The studio is in a great location, is clean and tidy and has the most wonderful view of the ocean from the window.

"The Artist Studio" is situated in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region with wineries and concert venues just minutes away. Perfect for a romantic getaway or to simply escape the hustle and bustle. There are many beautiful walks and sights to see right on your door step including wonderful wild life. The "Artist Studio" is one of two cottages on the property. If we are already booked and you would love to stay please look up "Amelies On Pokolbin Mountain" also listed on Air BnB.
The building was built in the 1990’s from salvaged and recycled materials, and was used as an artist’s studio, and shop space for our family lavender farm. After the farm shut down the building was used only as an artist’s studio. Following this The Studio became a gift shop then returned to an artist’s studio yet again. We really wanted to share this space and stunning views with others so this led us to opening The Studio Accommodation. The Studio is set on family property which has being in the family since 1880. Originally a dairy farm the property now runs a beef cattle farm. Along with cattle we also breed beautiful Cutting Horses.
Pokolbin is a suburb in the Hunter Valley NSW. Just a 55 minute drive from Newcastle and a 2 hour drive from Sydney. Pokolbin is home to rolling vine planted hills, many world class wineries, restaurants and golf courses, along with the Broken Back Mountain Range where the Studio is situated. The nearest wineries and restaurants are just 5 minutes away. There are many wonderful activities the area has to offer including: Horse drawn tours, Wine tours, Hot air ballooning, Bike riding, Golf, Hunter Valley Gardens, Shopping and Hunter Valley Zoo just to name a few.
  • Like all the reviews before I can endorse Amelia’s cottage as a stunning couples getaway. The view is even more breathtaking in real life and the cottage is beautifully appointed. I can’t wait to get back there!!!

    Yolanda2020-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • A fantastic stay. Such a beautiful studio overlooking the Hunter Valley. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway whilst also being able to experience all the cellar doors.

    Suzanne2020-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • The photos do not do this little piece of heaven justice. We arrived and were speechless. The studio is literally on the edge of a mountain overlooking the valley. The dogs on the farm are gorgeous, penny was our token friend who was only happy to snuggle and enjoy the views with us. We arranged a wine tour through ‘two fat blokes’ and they collected us and dropped us off. The perfect Hunter Valley experience. We are so glad we didn’t book a hotel!

    Callum2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great view and excellent location. A bit of an off road drive but the view along the way is money could not buy for. Individual, quiet, next to nature. There are a lot of friendly people and dogs around. The host is very commutable and supportive. 5 star experience!

    拿拿2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful property, amazing views and perfect location. Can’t wait to come back. Thanks again Amelia for a memorable weekend away.

    Caterina2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The studio was so cute and cosy, breathtaking views and scenery.

    Aston2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Where to begin!? We kicked off our Australia holiday in Hunter Valley for a weekend. It rained and poured the first two days, but the location and the views were just as magical as they were when the sun came out our final morning. The studio was stocked with tea, bread and jam, which made our slow mornings easy! There were a handful of movies that came in handy when we brought dinner back to get out of the crazy weather. The studio is so close to several lovely wineries. The pups on property were adorable and friendly! The recommendations provided were all phenomenal and the short hike to the lookout was perfect! Could not get enough of this place! It was wonderful! Amelie was very responsive too! We'll be back! :)

The comfortable one bedroom cottage is located on our 450 acre working cattle property. We are close to the seaside towns of Shellharbour and Kiama. You can enjoy the beaches and then come home and just sit and gaze at the views of the farm. We have many animals for you to get close to if you desire and an abundance of bird life on the property. The cottage has a comfortable veranda for you to relax and watch the horses and cattle graze. A country experience just 2 hrs drive from Sydney.
A place to explore, escape and dream. We can accommodate for two adults and two children. There is a futon bed in the lounge room. The futon bed sleeps two children or two small adults. We also have a portable cot, a cradle for tiny babies and highchair available for children . Children including infants are classed as a guest when booking.
Our property is located in the small rural community of Dunmore. Located on the western side of the Princes Hwy. The eastern property boundary is adjacent to the highway. The western boundary is 45 minute relaxed walk from the cottage. Kiama is 15 minute drive to the south. Shellharbour is 7 minute drive to the east. Killalea, The farm beach is 7 minute drive to the east. Minnamurra rainforest is 25 minute drive to the south west. Jamberoo Recreation Park is 20 minute drive to the west.
  • We had the most wonderful time at Roy's Run. Elizabeth and Dennis were excellent hosts and we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Our children (2, 5 and 7) were able to take the goat for a walk, let out the chickens, pat the horses, play on the trampoline and beautiful playset, and bond with the dogs and cats. They had the most amazing time, as did we. We brought gumboots (on Elizabeth's recommendation) which was brilliant, as it meant we could walk through the extensive paddocks and up into the valley. We kept our eyes peeled for echidnas and kangaroos, but had no luck. The cows, on the other hand, they kept a keen eye on us as we explored. We travelled at an unusual time, just as the restrictions around covid-19 related social distancing were starting to come in. We had clear and excellent communication with Elizabeth in discussing whether to come or not. We are glad we did, as only a week later, travel would not have been allowed. We feel incredibly lucky to have built these happy memories to sustain us while we now stay in place under partial lockdown.

  • Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful farm setting with fantastic hosts that made us feel incredibly welcome for our weekend stay. The accommodation was spotless and very well equipped and had everything we needed during the stay. We also took up the offer of a tour of the farm before we left which was a lovely touch - the farm is extensive with plenty of friendly animals and it was wonderful to see them in their natural setting. The farm dogs were fun to be around and we loved the 3 goats also. We will definitely stay again and would recommend the property to anyone looking for somewhere to stay around the Kiama area. Thank you Liz and Denis for making us feel so welcome.

The owners left a little box of toys which was a really nice touch! Quick responses from the owners when we had questions throughout the weekend. Would definitely come back and recommend.

  • The cottage was really clean and well kept. Simple personal touches made the property feel really comfortable. The views are just stunning despite the devastations of the bush fires that have affected the lands and homes at Lake Conjola. The sunrise on the lake is just stunning where you can view it from inside the cottage or right on the lake which is right outside the cottage. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone wanting to get away to south coast.

Wollombi is a historic rural village with quaint sandstone buildings, a museum, general store, a couple of churches, restaurant, cafes, gallery, gift shops and a tavern - home of the famous Dr Jurd's Jungle Juice. There are vineyards to visit, a graveyard to stroll though, and beautiful and thoughtful walks. The village is very popular on weekends for tourists and there will be increased traffic flow to the area. The cabin boarders a working farm and on some occasions you will experience the typical sights and sounds associated with farming. Cows moo, dogs bark, roosters crow, chainsaws saw. We do our best to limit these noises when we have guests but sometimes they can be completely outside of our control. There is no public transport in Wollombi The closest town is Cessnock, 30 minutes away by car, and has all major supermarkets, banks, a hospital and an airport.
  • We had the best time in Jacqueline's cabin! The cabin and its surroundings were amazing and we'd love to come back one day. Also, Jacqueline is so nice and friendly and overall the perfect host. Without a doubt one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed in.

  • A piece of paradise in Australia. The Cowboy's Cabin is an amazing place to get away from it all. Beautiful setting to observe the wildlife and countryside. Lovely walks and many wineries and picturesque villages. Jackie has decorated the very spacious cabin tastefully with many fitting pieces of furniture and special little touches,it was also spotlessly clean and comfortable, Jackie could not have been more helpful….nothing was too much trouble, we felt so welcome and relaxed. What a special find…..

    Kyrillos2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Bobbie’s place is the perfect escape for bush / beach time! Main points for me: Close to the amazing Seal Rocks beaches, stylish place with a lot of green around, paddles available to enjoy the nice lake that’s literally in front of the house, an amazing breakfast! My husband and I have really enjoyed our stay. My only recommendation is to leave the windows that have the mosquito net open during the night. We closed everything with the Dyson in the bedroom and became warm during the night while the rest of the apartment was cooler.

    Giovanna2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • The loft was a gorgeous place to stay. We got the dinner and breakfast hampers and they were so yummy. Great hosts, very tasteful place and gorgeous location. Wish we were able to stay longer.

  • Bobbie's bungalow next to Smiths lake was one of the highlights of our two week Oz trip. The most amazing location nestled between the trees on the edge of the lake. Bobbie was an absolute star, clearly loves hosting and making her guests time special. We will never forget waking up to the sound of the wildlife and our paddle boarding out on the tranquil lakes. Thank you Bobbie for making our nights stay special! Highly recommend trips to both Seal Rocks (beautiful beautiful beach) and the pizza restaurant next to Blueys beach.

  • Such an incredible and unique slice of paradise. Paul and Tracey are so thoughtful and friendly. Waking up with the sound of water lapping at the jetty and the sun streaming through the window was perfect. The kayak was a brilliant inclusion, paddling round the island and a short walk up to the waterfall with amazing views across the Pittwater. Will definitely be back. TS & SJ

    Broc2020-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful escape! Kayaking around the Island, cooking while watching the sunset and hearing the waves was outstanding. Waking up to breakfast on the porch was extra special!

    Kelly2020-03-28T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful, unique place with quirky decorative pieces throughout . Set in the most relaxing and tranquil location, with amazing sunset views. Paul was the most helpful and kind host!

    James2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Paul and Tracy’s place was simply fantastic! Even better than on the photos! They are fabulous hosts, extremely reactive and friendly! Special mention for the pick up and drop off to mainland which is super easy and very entertaining, as well as for the delicious breakfast!!!! This was a perfect romantic getaway and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quiet time out of the city.

  • Absolutely amazing, would definitely love to visit again

    Kerrie2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect place for a quick get away and have some quiet time. The boat pick up made it extra special and exciting to arrive. Their instructions on where to park were spot on and they were so prompt to respond to any request. Amazing. Quicker service than a hotel. We also really appreciated their quick communication when it was a short lead booking, this made it much easier and simple. They made us feel so welcome and almost part of their home. Thank you.

    Nicola2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is the place to be! Amazing location, with full views of the bay from the bedroom. The outdoor area leads right on to the sand, and the sound of the water was mesmerising. So relaxing! Paul was very accomodating, picking us up from the wharf right on time, and dispensing his local knowledge to us. A very interesting gentleman! We loved the BBQ area, and it was very easy to find all the utensils we needed. Every detail in the boat house is very though out and we had a great time there! We hope we will go back soon!

We are located three kms from Blackheath. It is a town with lots of character and a village feel. There are great cafes, excellent restaurants, nice galleries, a glass blowers studio, a jewellery gallery, an antiques emporium to browse. Lots of artists live here. It is also a famous rock climbing destination. Centennial Glen is where you can start but there are many climbs around the district. There is a lovely swimming pool in a beautiful park with free BBQs near by, when it is hot and a golf course just 250 metres away. It is only ten minutes drive (or a short train or bus ride) to the more touristy Katoomba with it's larger supermarkets, interesting Cultural Centre and Art Gallery. The Scenic Railway and Three Sisters are here. In the other direction the Jenolan Caves are one hour bus ride (they will pick you up and drop you off in Blackheath) or you can drive. Mt Vic Flicks is a short drive away. It is open Thursday-Sunday. It is an old fashioned cinema and a locals favourite. Sit back with a cup of tea in a real cup and a choc top and watch films from all over the world.
  • Definately will recommend this to anyone, great place it was very very clean and an amazing host! Will definately visit again in the near future

    Romit2020-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great little secluded getaway. The place was very clean and the personal touches such as a candle lit and fresh bread made it very inviting. Nice fire trails near by to explore and a shot drive into town to shops and restaurants.

  • We absolutely loved our stay at Anna's place, it was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The location was spectacular, close to the Grand Canyon walking track and with local amenities just down the road. The place had everything we needed in the kitchen and a beautiful deck out back with BBQ. Huge bath and fireplace, such a luxury. Anna was an excellent host, delivering fresh warm bread when we arrived and was super accommodating.

  • A lovely cosy cabin close to Blackheath and blue Mountain trails. Anna was very accommodating with our 5 month baby and baked us a fresh loaf of bread. The cabin smelt divine on arrival, clean tidy & very comfy bed. Anna also helped to attach the gas even though it was raining so we could make a bbq. Thanks Anna!

  • Sally’s cottage exceeded our expectations. The view is amazing (quite surreal). Highly recommend this cottage for a getaway and to relax. Close to all the vineyards and a short drive to the Cessnock for any essentials.

    Ethan2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • The photos do not do the view justice and the attention to detail throughout the cottage lovely. The place was also very clean and Sally was quick to respond to any questions we had.

    Soroush2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • what a gorgeous place, totally peaceful, quiet, and very artistically and tastefully decorated.

    Barbara2020-03-01T00:00:00Z

  • A little bit of paradise when you don’t expect it. Loved our stay here.

    Hillary & Colin2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is a truly wonderful place for a retreat. We'd come all the way from NZ, seeking a spot to base some wine touring from, and this one stood out for the promise of its amazing setting. It rained the entire time we were there so we didn't get the stunning sunrise and sunset... yet it didn't matter as the rain was fun for other reasons.. the kangaroos shaking themselves like wet dogs... the gleaming green of freshly washed forest - and being able to fill the amazing spa bath without feeling guilty (the cottage is rainwater fed) - the bath has a spectacular view down the valley and is large enough to 'swallow' two people. The bed was generously sized and very comfortable and we absolutely loved the wrought iron Juliet balcony with its drop-away views. Amelie's is reminiscent of a Tuscan villa on a Tuscan hillside (if you ignore the roos and gums :) ) and is a very healing place to be. No wifi... and hope Sally keeps in that way... if you need some R&R within easy driving reach of some spectacular wineries, then this is your place.

    Michelle2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • The place was amazing looking across the valley and hills. We had a very hot weekend and the cottage still stayed cool would recommend the place to everyone. The cottage was very clean and tidy when we got there. Sally checked to ensure we were coping with the heat and that everything was going well.

Perched above pristine and secluded bushland, Wondernest is a stylish country home located in the beautiful mountain village of Blackheath. Inspired by Scandinavian interiors this 2 level, 2 bedroom cabin exudes a warm and understated sense of style and luxury. Nestled into the landscape it offers stunning views of the bush from every room and an elevated outdoor deck with 180-degree views of the landscape. It’s hard to believe it is only a 15 minute walk to the train and Blackheath village.
Wondernest has been designed and renovated with a strong appreciation of its surrounds. The dark stained exterior opens into fresh white interiors walls, pale timber floors and 2 airy upstairs chalet style bedrooms with views of bush from every room. With an elevated outdoor deck and garden opening out into the bush, the Blue Mountains World Heritage National Park is literally on your doorstep.    The new light-filled galley kitchen with views to trees and bush is designed to make you relax and unwind. The black cabinetry and appliances are complemented by a functional rugged concrete benchtop. The kitchen comes fully equipped with gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. It's welcoming and carefully considered with plenty of space for some indulgent holiday cooking. There is also a spacious bathroom and full laundry with both washer and dryer.   The 2 upstairs chalet-style bedrooms both have luxurious queen size beds, discrete lighting zones, expansive bush views and plenty of storage space. Both rooms also feature skylights above the bed so you can explore the stars of the southern sky from the comfort of your luxury bed. Enjoy the Milkyway galaxy with a cup of tea in bed.   Our goal is to let you connect with nature, so curl up on the corner leather lounge and watch the cockatoos come home to roost at dusk. But if you feel the need to reconnect there is unlimited access to high-speed NBN wifi. Bring your devices and access the streaming channel of your choice.   There is off-street parking for 2 cars in the driveway
Blackheath is renowned for its majestic views and awe inspiring walking tracks, including the jaw-dropping Pulpit Rock lookout and sunrise at Govetts Leap. It is also home to some of the best restaurants and cafes in the Blue Mountains.

  • Mia’s place is very cute. Lots of stores nearby. She is very nice. She communicated well. It is next to a public school so street parking was a little confusing at first because a lot of it was 5min parking or 30min parking.

  • Mias place in Bondi Junction, was a perfect stay for my husband and I. With a 15 minute walk to Bondi beach and icebergs we enjoyed soaking up the sun and coming home to a cozy apartment. Mia accommodated our late flight in and was there to greet us with the keys she is very welcoming and her place is the perfect Sydney stay if you want to be close to the beach or get a quick Uber into the city.
