The entrance is private and will lead to the large master bedroom as well as bathroom with laundry facilities. There is no kitchen in the unit but there is everything you need to make tea and coffee as well as a microwave and minifridge. Sliding doors in the master bedroom lead to a deck to enjoy or a BBQ to use. At 70 steps, it’s a bit of a trek to the dock, but once there, you can make use of the paddle board or kayak. Winter tires or all wheel drive highly recommended in winter!

A spacious back deck features outdoor seating arranged around a central table, complemented by a barbecue grill nearby. Soft lighting enhances the evening ambiance, creating a suitable space for gatherings and relaxation.

We have high speed, reliable internet for streaming and working remotely. This cabin is a great getaway any time of the year!

We have a nice one bedroom apartment on the top of our house. We are located right in the downtown area, just blocks away from the main street, banks and the harbour front. We are one block away from the Lake of the Woods Brewing Company, the Post Office and the mall (No Frills). Two blocks from the Cinema, many shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Not 10 minutes to the lovely Kenora Harbour Front and the Whitecap Pavilion. Take in all the events and a simple walk home.

We had an incredible time at this cabin. The surroundings were stunning, offering complete peace and tranquility. Dianne was fantastic, so accommodating, quick to respond, and genuinely kind. We only wish we could have stayed longer, and we will absolutely return for another stay!

Great host - very accommodating! We stopped here to get some rest between our trip. Restaurants are nearby - felt like a safe neighbourhood. We highly recommend if you are looking to stay in a home rather than a cottage.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The outdoor shower was a major highlight. We spent many hours out in the canoe and the rowboat, and we didn’t see a single soul the entire time. Robert was lovely and responsive. The cabin was well stocked and clean, and the views were amazing. We brought fishing gear and caught many bass. We saw many turtles, a beaver and lots of different birds. The hike in was moderately difficult and much of it was up hill. We brought our own wagon and used the pull cart Robert supplied. Wear good shoes! It was so worth it though. We’d highly recommend this beautiful piece of paradise!

It’s a beautiful old-feel type of home. We felt right at home. The yard was big and my two year old loved it. It felt like ours for a short time, can’t wait to come back again this year!

Amazing views from this well appointed, spacious, comfortable home. Sarah has gone above and beyond to provide all you could possibly need to enjoy a visit to the lake! Beautiful, clean, comfortable beds and linens, fully stocked kitchen making cooking a breeze. High end coffeemaker to enjoy your morning latte on the deck. Great thought went into providing toys and games for all ages! Perfect for rainy days. Picnic table, fire pit at the waters edge, dock for swimming , fishing and boating. We appreciated being able to have the entire family all in one home. Grandparents, parents, kids….even the family dogs!! We would definitely stay again at this five star home! Thank you Sarah.
