A unique wilderness lodge on the southern tip of Algonquin Park. Deep in the forest on the shore of a private lake & a cascading waterfall. You get a private room in a small lodge, with a common dining area and shared bathrooms. Meals included.
The Eco-Lodge is situated so deep in the forests there is no car access, no telephone or electricity poles, and the only people you will see are other Lodge guests. The parking lot is 2.5 km away, so guests hike (about 25 minutes) through Algonquin Park to get to our building. The Eco-Lodge is completely off-grid, but we create all of our own power from a micro-hydro generator we installed n our waterfall. Since the Lodge is so remote there is a good chance to see animals like moose, bea...
Located on the 2nd level of a beautiful log-home bunkhouse, this basic room is designed for the backpacker or canoe tripper. From our dock you can canoe directly into Algonquin Park's interior - no portaging required. Need a canoe? We rent them!
This private room includes two single beds and a bathroom on the second storey of a log cabin bunkhouse. Please note that this space is not wheelchair accessible - the only way to get to this room is by climbing a set of stairs. The space is meant for backpackers or Algonquin Park canoe trippers who are looking for a bare-bones place to sleep as they venture into Algonquin Park. In order to maintain a "backpacker's price" essentials are not included. You must bring your own bedding, towels...
