We had a perfect Valentine's Day evening, it really is the place for this kind of occasion. The instructions were clear and precise, as was the organization. The decor is very tasteful, the suite is very clean, and the jacuzzi is really a + very relaxing. 10/10 !!!!!!!

We really enjoyed the house. Beautiful view on the backyard with lovely flowers, ever present red stucco roofs and lovely distant hills and farms so classic of the Lyon region. The kitchen furnishings were excellent and good for whole family and cooking, the table and patio n the back great for afternoon with family, firm beds (which we prefer rather than sagging ones), good wifi, very friendly hosts, short access to shops in the village, easy to find keys , and top it all friendly additions of vinegar, salt, oil, Butter and other basics. Bedrooms are nicely separated from living room. And living room is nicely integrated with kitchen, good ventelation.

We had a very pleasant stay at Monique and Bernard. The system to get the key is very convenient and allowed us to arrive late in the evening. I recommend.

A gorgeous drive up a winding mountain road leads to Les Esselards, gardens filled with flowers, the cleanest smelling air, and the wonderfully comfortable country cabins. They were clean, amazing facilities, we cooked dinner the 2 nights we stayed, and ate outside on the porch. The beds were the most comfortable we slept in in all of France - sleeping in the pure country darkness, away from lights and noise, only crickets and birds chirping. Absolutely beautiful. Christian was easy to get in touch with as we were making our way to the cabins, and very friendly. He gave us some maps and encouraged to explore the Lyon area, and talked to us about other sites to see on our journey through the south of France. I would stay in these cabins every year if I was planning on going to France. And do yourself a favor - spend more than one night! You won't want to leave in the morning.
