Real incredible location. It’s in the heart of the city but on a side street so it’s very quite. Overall great place but a couple of things to note: - The duvet had some noticeable stain marks and wasn’t squeaky clean - the bath is amazing but runs out of hot water after being about 50% full - the candles in the photo are electric but we did not have any batteries. When we asked for more they brought three little ones but two only worked and no more batteries were brought for the bigger ones that were still in the bathroom. - the shower was overflowing a bit Overall an incredible place to rent out for a romantic getaway in Aix. Highly recommended

The space was very nice and the bed was very comfortable, which is sometimes hard to find in Europe. It was very hot during our stay and we were a little worried with no A/C in the bedroom but by night time it was cool enough for a good nights sleep. The location is great. However, one thing to note is that the street is extremely narrow and the parking spot is tiny as well, so if you have an SUV, do not attempt to go down the street or park in the parking garage. This is not in the hosts control and has nothing to do with how great he was and how great the place was. I would just suggest a small car or another mode of transportation. Overall great stay and great host!!

very friendly hostess, who gave many good tips, to go by bus to Aix and Provence. nice apartment, good bed and sparkling clean. The village itself is not very special, on the days we were there nowhere to eat. location also great to visit the beautiful Luberon villages

Forty five years ago more or less but who’s counting, I went to school in Aix. I love the big town/small city feel but I don’t quite know how to describe it. Go discover it. I’v been back countless times since then. But enough about Aix whether it’s your first time or 20th time I would definitely consider Jean Francois’s place; it’s a stunner. Simply decorated, very ample in size and lacking in nothing. Kitchen is huge and the space overall is great. Great airco as well. It started getting hot and they immediately took care that it was working. In fact the moment you call they call back. Location, location, location. Can’t do better. If you are ready to eat when you arrive walk downstairs and eat at the lovely square. We will definitely be staying there again. We have close to 70 Airbnb’s behind us: some memorable some not. This one is in the first Column.

We stayed with Florence and Gilles for 10 days. We enjoyed the time all around. Especially the garden with fragrant herbs and blooming lilacs and beautiful flowers at all was a dream. The whole area of Provence is beautiful with blooming poppy fields beautiful old houses. We will be happy to come again

We loved the location and the comfort of having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The outside deck, although small was comfortable and serene.

We wanted to stay longer in this lovely apartment . Very easy level walk from the train and the apartment was all on the ground level so super easy with luggage. Was in a very old building (about 300 years old) but renovated beautifully and sensitively… stunning decor and upmarket modern fit-out. Was lovely also having access to a high walled private courtyard from the living room and bedroom. Franck, our host, was very friendly and helpful. This place is a must-stay when visiting Lourmarin - very easy to get to the village and stunning accommodation with a beautiful pool and clean space!

Our stay in Les Baux-de-Provence was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. The home is perfectly situated within the village walls, offering unmatched access to the breathtaking sights of Les Baux, including the castle which is just steps away. The convenience of a dedicated parking space made arriving and exploring effortless, and being within walking distance to the incredible Carrières des Lumières was an added bonus. The apartment itself is beautiful, serene, and thoughtfully decorated. Every detail was just right, from the welcoming living area to the incredibly cozy bed, which made each night a joy. It was the perfect home base for soaking in the magic of this unforgettable village. We will definitely cherish this stay for years to come. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

We were greeted by Célia who was waiting for us upon arrival. The ideally located accommodation was impeccable, in a peaceful area close to shops, walks and interesting restaurants. Small touches (very appreciated) awaited us in the accommodation: wine, water bottles, coffee available... in short, rare enough to emphasize it! Hosts are responsive and available via message although you don't need to contact them as everything is done to receive you properly. In addition, very qualitative and comfortable bedding! We recommend this listing without hesitation and hope to come back soon! Thanks again

Ideally located accommodation, close to the Old Port, bars and restaurants, while being very quiet – no noise from the city. The apartment is perfectly equipped and the courtyard is large and pleasant, especially for smokers. Chloé is available and welcoming. We'll be right back!
