Nous avons été très bien reçu par Catherine avec thé et biscuits maison dans une très belle demeure dans un environnement calme. La vue est magique. Le petit dejeuner était juste fabuleux avec que des produits frais et maison. Le salon mis a disposition des invités est super. Catherine sait vraiment recevoir ses invités tout en restant très respectueuse. La nuit a été très reposante. Nous y retournerons sans soucis.

Thank you for such an unforgettable stay. For the warm welcome, for sharing your magnificent manor home with us, for the delicious breakfasts, for all the history and local information, for the cosy evenings in front of the fire, for the glorious views from the bedrooms, for the joy of taking the dogs on a long walk through the estate (or maybe they took us). It was all an amazing experience.

The shed is truly such a gem, likely our favorite stop on our Ireland road trip! Riona and Paddy are wonderful hosts. Their space is thoughtful, inviting, and cozy. The bed was very comfortable! We cannot recommend it enough. Stay here if you get the chance.

Absolutely fabulous lodging. From the setting to the host to the fellow intrepid travelers. Cozy, quiet, immaculate. Plus baby lambs! And wondrous star-gazing too.

John and Mary were so lovely and welcoming! The room was very clean and the perfect amount of space for the two nights we were there. They gave us a breakfast which was perfect, and answered any questions that we had about Portlaoise! Portlaoise is a quiet town and it’s hard to find things to do if you don’t have a car, but our stay was great! John and Mary were wonderful and I would highly recommend this place to anyone passing through Portlaoise!

Nice place, centrally located! Everything we did was walkable from the place! Nora is a great host! She greeted us and showed us around the home. She is the kindest, nicest person. One review said it was like staying at your favorite aunt’s place and I’d agree. Breakfast was good and the time was flexible whenever we wanted to sit down and eat… plenty of fruit, breads, coffee, cereal, juice, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, meat and cheeses… I’m sure it changes, but that’s what was available to us. You share the bathroom with the host, but it was no issue and I believe she has her own half bath. Water pressure is a bit low, so go easy on the shampoo! We had comfortable beds. And the room was clean! At times you can hear street traffic, but it isn’t a super busy street later at night. If you’re American, it can take some getting used to that the bathroom light switches are often outside the bathroom! Parking is off the street… a bit tight getting in for some! We would stay here again!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Les échanges avec les propriétaires étaient très agréables. Le petit déjeuner était royal et délicieux. Nous avons pu le prendre sur la terrasse avec une vue incroyable sur la mer.

Helen is a great host. She is lovely to talk to and makes wonderful breakfasts. The place is beautiful and private in a quiet location. The bed is extremely comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well decorated, and the breakfast sunroom is lovely. It felt rather luxurious. A great bed and breakfast experience.

Traditional thatched roof cottage with lots of charm. Sonia gave us some history of the cottage upon arrival. the setting was beautiful! The roses were divine! The thatched roof was why we booked, the setting was worth the stop, and the water pressure was outstanding, possibly the best in all of Ireland. Sonia is a delightful host and her live of the property shows.

We have been welcomed by Samatha who has been very useful with her recommendations to find places to get food from on the Bank Holiday evening. The room was very quiet and we enjoyed the full Irish breakfast proposed in the morning. Thank you!

Ein echter Ort zum Wohlfühlen! Bei traumhafter Ruhe nur unterbrochen von den hauseigenen Schafkindern konnten wir Kraft tanken! Früh wurden wir mit einem tollen Frühstück verwöhnt und dann gab es wertvolle Hinweise zur Tagesgestaltung. Dadurch haben wir die Pfade abseits des Rings of Kerry nutzen können!! 😉 Judi ist eine warmherzige Gastgeberin und ihr Mann zaubert das beste Rührei Irlands! Die 3 Hunde sind eine humorvolle Truppe!

We just loved Eva's place. She is very friendly, helpful and a lovely hostess. The room is large, light and pleasant, the double bed very comfortable and the shower very good. Linens and everything else were squeeky clean and in the mornings we got lovely breakfasts, incl. fresh fruit, delicious!! :-) We had a car, so it was easily found. It served our purpose brilliantly and we sure hope to be back at some stage.

Mary’s place was very comfortable and homey, with a good location that suited me well and offered great value. The breakfast was enjoyable and a nice way to start the day. Having my own washroom and a convenient private entry made the stay even better, providing privacy and ease of access. Overall, a pleasant and hassle-free experience I would recommend.

Outstanding is the only way to describe this place. The room was spacious, the ensuite bathroom roomy, squeaky clean with the best shower in the world. The family were super friendly, really welcoming, with nothing too much trouble. I felt very much at home here. Peter gave me some brilliant tips for a tour of the Connemara National park and its nearby coastline. Jo provided some excellent breakfasts and they both gave me some great conversation. Stay here if you are in the area, you will not regret it.

Luxurious place to stay. Everything we needed. big kitchen and sitting room were great. Our hosts were so helpful.

Rating? 5 stars simply doesn’t do it justice. Our experience with Lesley & Adrian ( together with a gorgeous Springer Spaniel Heidi ) is the highlight of our long holiday so far ( we are two Australians travelling across Europe by car for 2 months) . They are the most wonderful people and hosts that we met . Period. We enjoyed our stay and their hospitality to the point that we didn’t want to leave.. The house and our room were spotless. Bedroom and bathroom are big and roomy. Parking ,just next to the entrance . The breakfast was sooooo nice and kept us running all day. We can’t thank them enough for sharing their local knowledge and appointing us in the right direction. We’ve seen amazing things based on their advice. We feel that Lesley simply love and enjoy what she is doing and that is the only logical explanation to how she do her magic so effectively and effortlessly. Just amazing . Thank you again Lesley and Adrian.

Wunderschönes Haus mit Blick auf Benbulben. Die Kommunikation mit Geraldine war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb und bietet Ruhe und Behaglichkeit. Das Zimmer war gemütlich und das Bad blitzblank. Das „help yourself breakfast“ ist gut und sehr umfangreich. Eine Bushaltestelle ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Eine gute Base, um Sligo und die wunderschöne Umgebung zu erkunden. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Kathleen and Tim are the nicest and loveliest people you’ll find. Their home is the cosiest and the surroundings are out of this world. Will stay again when I’m back to visit Ireland. It’s also a great location to stay when you’d like to visit the Wicklow Mountains or other nearby scenes.

We had a great stay on Aran island, probably too short. Everything was perfect :)

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war äußerst lecker und umfangreich. Falls wir wiedermal nach Irland reisen, werden wir bei Noel vorbeischauen:)

From the minute we met John he was so helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and everything was ok. He made us feel right at home. Id have no problem staying there again. It is such a beautiful spot you could just sit outside and admire the view. We will definitely be back.

Minha estadia foi simplesmente maravilhosa! Sheila foi uma anfitriã extremamente atenciosa e prestativa desde o início, sempre disponível para tirar dúvidas. O local estava impecavelmente limpo, muito bem organizado e exatamente como nas fotos — até melhor! A cama era super confortável, o chuveiro excelente, e a localização perfeita, perto de tudo que eu precisava. Com certeza voltarei e recomendo de olhos fechados!
