Vacation rentals in Rincón

Pros: Beautiful views, nice big pool and plunge pool with 24/7 access. Private, remote feeling, but close in enough that it’s still only 10-12 minutes to town. Fairly well equipped kitchen, nice comfy beds, a/c, and full sized fridge. Cons: This place is small - there are only 2 rooms with no living room or sitting area. It’s shared with another rental attached and only separated by a frosted glass door, so you can hear EVERYTHING. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs, or ensure there are not others staying during your stay. The gate sometimes sticks and this appears to be an ongoing issue. The owners are very responsive though and will tell you how to bypass it, but still kind of annoying to have to get out of your car and do this. The biggest con was the hot water situation. There is hot water, however, there is a trick to getting it to work, and you only get about 2-4 minutes tops of hot water at a time. Overall not bad and would stay again, but price is too high.

Our stay was great overall. The owner was fantastic however we were not very pleased with Otium as the description showed 3 bedrooms however they are separate units. Since this was not clearly explained in the Airbnb listing, we overpaid for something we did not use. We were not able to use the other unit at all as we have small children that we can’t separate to a whole separate unit. When I called to discuss, I was told I would get a call back and I have yet to receive a call regarding a partial refund.

Veronica was very lovely and kind helping me and answering all my questions daily as I needed. I had no problems with the unit or location. I will definitely look forward to staying again in this unit. Thank you so much Veronica.

Una experiencia maravillosa, no soy una persona que le guste acampar, la cabaña lo tenia todo, cada detalle para poder desconectarse con la montaña. Nuestras amistades estaban en sus campañas espectaculares y pudimos tener todas las comodidades de una lujosa cabaña. Adicional marilyn y johnny nos complacieron en todo y nos ayudaron a conseguir los mejores cupcakes del area para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi amiga. Nos sentíamos seguros y en casa! I had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was very understanding and incredibly attentive—she made sure I had everything I needed and was always quick to respond. I’d definitely stay here again!

Me and my family loved the place! Everything was clean, neighborhood was nice and quiet. the house overall was really good and the owners were friendly and answered every question we had.
