I was for visiting Ecuador for work and stayed a bit longer than a week in Quito. Cumbaya is a great area and was able to find and purchase all necessary items for a calm stay at the apartment. On top of all, there is a spa, a swimming pool and a parking spot. I was really feeling like at home away from home.

El lugar y el proyecto de Stephen es increíble! La zona, el proyecto de reforestación y sostenibilidad que tienen es realmente interesante. Si quieres relajarte y vivir una experiencia diferente y no muy alejada de la ciudad este lugar es perfecto para ti. El desayuno muy bueno con productos frescos y orgánicos. La habitación es como un glampling pero muy cómodo. Eso si, no tienes luz eléctrica y el baño es privado pero fuera de la carpa, pero es perfecto para secansar y desconectarte de la naturaleza.

Todo estuvo excelente, nos dejaron hacer check in antes y aunque por algunas cuestiones llegamos un poco tarde, nos recibió super amable. El lugar es seguro y la quinta es super amplia para grupos grandes. Solo le recomendaría que agregue más utensilios de cocina. Por lo demás, estuvo excelente 😊

This home is a hidden gem. It is not in the downtown area but in a village setting closer to the airport. My family of 2 adults and 4 children stayed here for a couple nights at the end of our one month stay in Ecuador. It was the perfect way to end our time in this beautiful country. The house is large and spacious and well equipped to cook and relax on the property. There are lots of things to keep kids entertained like the outdoor lawn, playground and indoor ping pong table and games. Karla, the housekeeper lives on the property and is always there to help. There is an amazing vegetable garden and Karla gave us veggies, avocados, oranges and lemons straight from the garden as we prepared our lunch. It was much more than we could eat. The owner of the house is very kind and came to see us off. We were overwhelmed by his kind gesture when he offered to drop us at the airport. We couldn’t think of a better way to end our time in Ecuador.

Guapulo is the best spot for escaping the big smoke of modern Quito, and Amandine’s place gives you everything you could wish for for a comfortable and relaxing stay. My fav. time of day was 7-9am when the morning sun streams in the windows and the hammock beckons, together with some good music and fresh coffee :)

Muy bonito lugar para compartir con familia y con tus mascotas tienen el espacio para caminar, jugar y divertirse, el clima estuvo perfecto, la cocina muy espaciosa, el área de parrilla perfecta para compartir y almorzar al aire libre, si no quieres pasar afuera tienes la sala espaciosa para descansar en el sofa y ver una peli, igual puedes destinar el tiempo para un buen voley Diego te brinda muchas facilidades para que la estadía sea perfecta.

Great neighborhood with lots of things to do, you can hangout until late and feel secure. Plaza la Carolina has amazing restaurants around and local food carts with tasty food. The apartment is on immaculate condition, did not want to leave. The host is very attentive, I will definitely booked this place again if it is available! 5/5

El apartamento estaba muy bien equipado para la crisis de energía, el anfitrión se ocupó de que haya un powerbank conectado al WiFi, además tenía una batería adicional para poder conectar la computadora y otros aparatos electrónicos y una linterna grande. por eso nunca fue necesario utilizar el cowoerking del edificio. El edificio tiene planta para las aereas comunes y es muy pet friendly, no se escucha ningún ruido de la calle, se duerme con mucha tranquilidad. En la habitación principal hay un pequeño calefactor, por si las noches son muy frías. Adicionalmente había un botellón de agua, eso nos encantó. Los anfitriones respondían rápido los mensajes y siempre estaban pendientes.

Marcelo y Chabelita, dueños del lugar, son excelentes anfitriones. Desde el primer contacto estuvieron siempre pendientes de nosotros y consintiendo a mis pequeños. Chabelita cocina riquísimo y acepta sugerencias. Marcelo es muy sociable, nos encantó conocer sus anécdotas e historias de vida interesantes; estuvo pendiente de encender la fogata, de guiar a los peques en los caballos y, enseñarnos a cosechar frutillas. La cabaña donde nos alojamos es privada, sencilla, pequeña y cómoda. En la cabaña la señal de internet es muy baja y casi no tuvimos acceso; de necesitar, podíamos acceder a la casa principal, pero fueron pocas veces. Aunque llegamos en época fría, pudimos encender la fogata, los peques disfrutaron de la casa árbol, los caballos, los espacios verdes; y, de unos perros enormes los cuales fueron muy amigables y juguetones. Recibir al 2025 con todas las atenciones, la tranquilidad que te ofrece el campo y la alegría de ver disfrutar a los peques no tiene precio.
