From the communication, the equipment and the location… just fantastic for me as a surfer. Has everything you need, very good surf spots right outside the front door then relax in the hot tub on the roof terrace. Surrounded by fine restaurants, just awesome :) Definitely worth it!

Better than what we thought! Is a great place to have a relaxing weekend.

We arrived and in felt like home. My daughter's loved the special cake that Marta left for us upon arrival. The house is well equipped with everything you need and more. The bathtub was a favorite, and the balcony was a wonderful place to relax and people watch. The beach is only steps away, along with places to grab a snack. We used the bikes for a fun ride and my daughter loved the game room area to read and do crafts. Something for everyone in a picture perfect location. The entire home was impeccable. Thank you Marta for your warm hospitality and attention to detail.

We had a great stay in Zuzana and Tibor’s house. Very convenient for a family, near the beach, walking distance to shops and surf spots. They also are very kind and welcome persons. Thank you !

We had a great time with the family at Joao's house. Joao is a very friendly and attentive host. We all enjoyed the lush garden with its lemon and orange trees, while being flowered in the smallest corners. We all felt a real disconnection while staying with Joao. The bedding is excellent and the house has a soul with its decoration and childhood smells. A beautiful beach is 8 minutes from the house by car and all amenities are 5 minutes away. Finally you will understand, a family stay that we will remember fondly.

A beautiful condo on the beach with a view of the ocean. Line it’s a great layout and you’ll enjoy looking at the ocean. There is a restaurant next-door however we never had any issues with noise. I wish they had a faucet to wash your feet off after you came back from the beach, but that’s not the responsibility of this condo that the association should handle that.

Eduardo’s place was the same as described. The pool and deck has been upgraded and it was very beautiful to swim and lounge around the Infiniti pool enjoying the amazing view of the community and hills/valley. The workmanship on this house is amazing - the community felt safe and people were very friendly. Would recommend

Paulo's place is probably the best location in the city. Close and easy access to the main places of note, even with the short climbs up from the main street. It's out of the way enough to feel quiet without being too removed. Lots of space, with high ceilings and big rooms. The best part overall is the terrace with it's stellar views over the city. We spent nearly every moment we were in the house out there, even when it was raining. It's covered, so it felt quite peaceful and protected. Highly recommend.

We spent a wonderful weekend in this house with friends and family. The house is very beautiful, clean, well-equipped and very cozy. All the rooms were prepared with great affection and attention to detail. The outdoor area was the highlight: perfect for gathering everyone, relaxing and enjoying good times barbecuing and having fun in the pool. Mrs. Adelaide was extremely attentive and helpful and ensured that everything was perfect for our stay. We definitely recommend it!

We had a great stay in extremely comfortable surroundings. Clean, spacious, well equipped. Fabulous swimming pool! Exiting the property a bit hazardous by car. The property is on a very busy main road and is a lorry route, you need two people to exit, one in the street as traffic flies by! A mirror situated so that you can see what is coming would be extremely helpful. The road is noisy but did not penetrate the house too much. Most shops, restaurants, etc are a short drive away. There is nowhere close enough on foot. Beds are comfortable but bed linen and towels are a little old and tired, they could do with replacing. Contacting the host during the week was problematical. Phone rings 3 times then changes to engaged tone. On one occasion all the electricity cut out, fortunately we were able to find the trip switches. We were aware that in an emergency we could not make immediate contact, a bit worrying. A minor point but as a party of 7, two sets of keys would have been helpful.

Beautiful location, right next to the river and the mill. Bruno was a communicative and helpful host. It's very small, as it says in the description, but for 2 nights was ok.

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

We felt right at home and took full advantage of the barbecue and pool! The environment is very quiet and has a beach and hiking areas nearby. Ana's family is lovely and gives you your space. 10-day vacation!!!! Thank you!

This beautifully updated traditional stone house exceeded our expectations in pretty much every way! It is quaint but with everything we needed for our 3-night stay, including good heat (which we used due to the chilly weather). We gave all 5s except one 4 because the house is right next to the road. The 18" thick walls in the house keep the noise to a minimum and the road is not busy at all, so no big deal. The host prepared a super-helpful booklet of nearby sights and restaurants that we referred to regularly (in both Portuguese and English). We can't recommend this place highly enough!

João was an incredible host. Friendly, proactive giving us lots of recommendations and tips on local spots and where to go. The place is very cozy, and a truly Portuguese “Aldeia”. It is quite isolated, so for those that enjoy peace and being deep in nature, this is the place. If you are looking for some time away from the busy city life, this is the place. Obrigado João, estaremos de volta!

Very calm and welcoming space, we were very welcome, ideal for holidays with family or friends.

Absolutely lovely! The apartment, patio, pool, and gardens felt like a little slice of paradise. The housekeeper, Rosie, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She brought out toys for our daughter and invited us to have fruits from the garden. Thank you, Rosie!

Beautiful clean house and pool, comfy beds and really spacious house. We were greeted by Pereira’s father who gave us a tour and was very friendly and helpful - we enjoyed the wine he gifed us too! Would recommend a car to stay here.

We spent three wonderful days here going from Lisbon to Porto. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, and the perfect retreat between our city visits. Vítor was so kind and hospitable. Would love to come back!

Julien and his team created a wonderful place of peace here, with a lovely team and beautiful atmosphere. Everyone is welcome, it's paradise for both, adults & kids. People with dogs also find the perfect place to stay here. Optional breakfast and dinner felt like coming together at a friend's house. We loved it! Thank you very much for everything, we will be coming back for sure!

We had a great stay with our 2 children aged 7 and 10. Luís’s place was very clean, pool and outside space even better than the photos. Location is great as it’s the last plot so not overlooked and lots of greenery around. New bikes were a nice touch as well - kids enjoyed cycling to the supermarket to get food. We spent a day by the pool, drove to the beach to surf and spent an afternoon / evening in Aveiro which was lovely. Luís was responsive and a great host.

We stayed here for over two weeks and used it as a base to explore from Lisbon to Coimbra, as well as to enjoy the sights of Obidos. It worked perfectly and proved to be a fabulous place to stay which was made convenient by the road network. Rodrigo is a fabulous host and the home and garden are absolutely great. Obidos is incredible and lovely and it’s unique to be able to stay inside the walls of the castle - be warned, it is hilly and everywhere is cobbled, so wheelchairs and those who struggle to walk may not find it easy. Wider travel is easy with fantastic roads - yes, many are tolls and we spent around €70 on charges, but in return we found some absolutely beautiful towns and coastal points such as Coimbra, Tomar, Santarem, Ericeira etc…far too many to list here. We also went to Lisbon a couple of times which was easy by coach for €19 each return. Fully recommend this place for a short stay or as a base for exploration of the Silver Coast.
