Wow. This private escape Garth and Rebecca have decided to share is just beautiful. From the moment we got there it was peaceful. Garth and Rebecca are very responsive and willing to help with any questions you might have. Everything is thought of down to the smallest details. I honestly can't say enough good things about my stay! Thank you to Garth and Rebecca for sharing this wonderful escape with us and we will definitely be coming again.

Very beautiful and peaceful getaway. The hosts were very fast at responding and made it a welcoming weekend. The cabin was exactly as pictured and very cozy! I would definitely recommend this place.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été charmés par l’esthétique du lieu. L’intérieur offre une véritable ambiance de chalet, chaleureuse et authentique. La tranquillité des lieux correspondait parfaitement à ce que nous recherchions. Tout était parfait. C’était la première fois que nous séjournions dans un chalet aussi bien équipé — nous n’avons manqué de rien. Le projecteur est une petite touche que nous avons particulièrement appréciée. Nous avons aussi beaucoup aimé l’emplacement du jacuzzi, un peu à l’écart, agrémenté de jolies lumières. Nous recommandons vivement ce chalet et reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Wonderful stay. We will be returning! This is such a cute little cozy cabin in a secluded area. The hot tub is a huge bonus!

We had such a wonderful stay! Every bit of our experience was nothing but the best. We booked this place looking for a relaxing recharge and that was exactly what we got. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The hot tub and sauna were so relaxing and the perfect combo and every detail was perfect for the space: we took a nice walk through the trail, and it was beautiful. Thank you for the stay! We were very glad we decided to choose this cabin for our weekend getaway. It had all of the basics we needed for making our meals during our stay; the bed was very comfortable; the cabin was very clean and the hot tub was the perfect bonus. We would not hesitate to come back here again in the future.

From the moment I turn on the road to the cottage I felt the stress of the day fall off my shoulders. Then walking in the cottage, it is so pleasant and sweetly decorated, not to mention spotless! Then you see the view!!! All I can say about the view is WOW! You can see the red cliffs, the bridge and a lighthouse all from one location! Nicki checked in on us and made sure everything was ok and she has the personality that you immediately feel like you are long lost friends! PERFECTION is how I would describe our stay!

We had a great stay at Stella’s place! Everything was as described. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location close to Bala and Gravenhurst. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Would stay here again!

This tiny cabin was the perfect getaway spot for my pup and I. It’s extremely hard to find an AirBnb this cozy that allows dogs. Everything was so well thought through: from fresh coffee cream in the fridge, to doggie bowls and wet wipes. And the BED… omg the bed. The area it’s in is so beautiful and tranquil. Outdoor swing and patio area were a huge plus. Will come back!

We spend my husband's birthday at Katherine & William’s cabin. The space is super cute and cozy, we felt at home! The surroundings are beautiful and calm, perfect for a weekend getaway. We also took advantage of Katherine’s tips and spent some time at trails and local restaurants, and it was amazing! I highly recommend and it was one of my best Airbnb experiences!

Had an absolutely lovely stay at the cabin! Great location and very private. Perfect for our annual Autumn visit to the area to go to Algonquin Park, Huntsville and Screaming Heads. The cabin was well stocked, clean and very cozy... we truly had everything we needed. We were even greeted with a little basket of treats which was so sweet! Our kitty loved staying there as well. Leah's instructions were quite clear and she was very responsive to any questions we had. Our weekend was truly awesome, we would definitely love to come back!!!

The place was a little hard to find but Megan was SO helpful and guided us all the way there! The room was beautiful and the nature surrounding was so peaceful! It was a little cold so we had to wake up in the middle of the night to feed more wood to the fire. But other than that, this was an amazing stay and I'll definitely be coming back in the summer 😍

bel endroit paisible et confortable pour nous reunir en famille, nous de val-d'or et mon fils de sherbrooke nous sommes reunis pour la fin de semaine de pâques avec tous les commodités nécessaires a notre bien être :) ont a beaucoup aimés l'endroit avec des lits confortable et des salles de bain propres . c'étais tous simplement parfait et nous allons revenir. Ont se sentait comme a la maison ayant suffisament d'espaces pour 4 aldulte et 2 enfants :) ont n'a profiter du jacuzzi et du sauna et tu foyer interieur , c'étais super bien :) je le conseille fortement vous serriez pas déçu et quoi dire tu super service que Sergi et lamda wow ont na rien a dire de négatif :) encore un gros merci de nous avoir reçu dans votre palace 😊🥰🤩

Our stay was wonderful. The host was very responsive to messages and accommodating. The Oak #1 cabin was spotless and immaculate. Loved all the natural light coming into the space. The area is a perfect location. Lots to do and see close by. Peaceful setting too. We will definitely be back.

As a retired home renovator, I was extremely impressed by the innovative personal design of almost every part of the shanty being handmade. The last 2 1/2 years that I’ve been living in the Canadian maritime (NB) away from southern Ontario, seeing the outside the box innovation for ecological use of construction materials (and reuse) to make wonderfully appointed buildings projects. East coast decor styling makes for a calming, rustic and charming pleasant stay in this shanty cabin. Kim made me feel welcome as soon as I pulled up in my vehicle. The cabin is extremely clean, simply laid out, airy and comfortable. The fresh ocean breeze mixed with the pleasant cedar wood sent of cabins main construction material only adds to the relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend a stay here, I’m sure the next time I visit PEI I’ll be booking here again. Thank you so much Kim for allowing me this last minute booking, otherwise I would have missed out on this wonderful experience at your place.

Chalet très confortable et propre. Légèrement petit pour 2 couples.

We spent the Easter long weekend at the Perched Cabin on Mariposa Farm, and it was absolutely wonderful. The cabin is beautifully built with care and character—off-grid, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, yet cozy and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The large windows made from recycled patio doors bring in the forest light and create a magical atmosphere. We loved walking the many trails around the farm, meeting farm animals, and learning about the story behind both the cabin and Mariposa itself. It’s inspiring to see how much heart went into creating this place. We’re already planning to return in the fall. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to disconnect and reconnect with nature in a unique and soulful setting.

Quiet, beautiful home. Has everything you need and more :) would love to return in the warmer months.

Really nice place and very friendly host. It’s a beautiful spot for friends, couples or family with kids. A nice escape from the city for a weekend.

I was happy that the cabin looked exactly like the photos! You really can’t beat looking out of the window to a lake. We enjoyed dinners in the deck with the fire pit going and sitting at the lake with our morning coffees. No complaints, it’s a great location and a great deal for the price!

We visited in mid-October, and the foliage was amazing. The lake is indeed pristine. Very comfortable cabin; one 29 degree F night challenged the woodstove in the main room, but the bedroom was super cozy. Very near Algonquin PP so there is lots to do. Joanne and Lars were very responsive to questions.
