The view from the terrace is worth every penny or pence. Alain was very proactive in his communication leading up to the check-in, which made the process less painful compared to others in the area. We will book again when we come back to this region with Alain.

The house to disengage, in simplicity, refreshing. It is very well equipped with dishes, linens, we have the impression of arriving at friends who have left everything available. The big plus is this beautiful beach 2 steps away . It just went too fast

Very large villa set in a very private setting. Great for a family holiday with private pool and massive outdoor spaces. Bedrooms were large and had plenty of storage. Kitchen was very well equipped, although a number of items are now quite dated and would benefit from updating. Very quiet and peaceful setting - great if you want to get away from it all! But also 7-10 min drive to beach and local town/shops. Bella was a kind and responsive host. She replaced the toaster on the same day we told her it wasn’t working. A fantastic place. The only criticism i have is that the upstairs bedroom area (with the two single beds) smelled very musty. We stayed in another AirBnB in Lisbon and it had the same issue so I wonder if high humidity levels are a factor. There were air fresheners placed around but if you have a sensitive nose then this would be a problem for you.

I’d love to write a review but due to an error with my passport, we weren’t able to fulfil our holiday. What I do want to do though I’d thank Helena for her understanding and communication. She was genuine and sincere and I know if we had of made our holiday, it and Helena would have exceeded all our expectations. We look forward to booking again once we sort out passport issues. Thank you Helena for all our communication.

Asa’s home is a great spot for a family vacation, it is very comfortable, located in a peaceful complex with a beautiful pool and in close proximity (walking distance) to a beautiful beach. The children enjoyed the home so much as it also had a small playground next door to the house. There were two other areas also within a walking distance with restaurants and other beaches. All in all greatly recommended. Thank you for the beautiful visit. 🤍

We enjoyed our stay in Albufeira and had an amazing beach day. It was much warmer than predicted. We appreciated the beach bags and towels provided by Marina. A tip if you are taking an uber to the property-ask to be dropped off at Hotel Indigo to save yourself a challenging walk with suitcases to the property.

Lara’s home was so perfect we all became tearful when leaving (including our toddler)! This home is one of the nicest we’ve stayed at in our many travels, and would replicate this trip over 100 fold. The home is private and quiet, overlooks an incredible marshland/waterway in distance where every night we would sit with a glass of local wine (so many within 10-15 minutes of this home), and watch the storks nest in the preserve in the distance. The pool and deck hosted wonderful day swims for us and our toddler, and we enjoyed every night grilling and eating at the outdoor table under the setting sun. The inside of the home is spotless and a designers dream. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, the beds and rooms spacious and well appointed. Lara welcomed us in with such an incredible welcome basket that we searched out the local shops to buy so many of the goods over again. This was a base for our day trips to Lagos, Portimao, and the various Praias in the area. Don’t stay anywhere else!

A wonderful stay right on the beach. Playground across the street for our granddaughter. Offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Great restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend.

The most beautiful home. Central / walkable location. Very clean and spacious home. Easy check in, navigation and communication with the host. Stunning location. Peaceful and private. Within a 10 minute walk to two beautiful beaches. Ricardo left a long list of recommendations on where to eat, what to do and which spots provided traditional Portuguese experience. Overall 10/10 and highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very cozy and peaceful. Catching the sunset from the private balcony and the views of the Old Town from the rooftop terrace can’t be beat. Peggy was a great host and very communicative before and during our stay. Highly recommend staying here.

Nicely furnished, modern flat in Albufeira marina. Clean and lots of natural light. Comfortable balcony with a view of the shared pool and the marina. Lots of restaurants right downstairs. Convenient parking spot in building. Anabela, the Host greeted us and was responsive and helpful during our stay. The bathroom could use a makeover…the only outlet in the bathroom did not work, the bathtub drain was rusty and the shower curtain needs to changed. The kitchen is quaint and fully functional. The drip coffeemaker needs to be replaced or at least replace the filter. Thankfully, they also had a Nespresso coffee maker. Washer was a plus. If your stay is longer than a week, you will get fresh linens an towels. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

A great little apartment. Perfect for a couple right across from a nice section of the beach with good amenities. I’d recommend this and would consider returning.

The appartement was all we could ask for! Fabio made us feel at home. It was an amazing stay! I would greatly recommend it to anyone wishing to enjoy Faro’s old town.

Nora’s place is excellent, and she’s responsive. Well worth the money. The view from the place is excellent. It’s facing the water, and it has a patio you can look out from. I have no real complaints besides the fact that the lock to get into the building was pretty difficult to unlock. I think others in the building had trouble as well ultimately leading to them propping the door open. They might want to fix that at some point.

This was a little piece of paradise on the Algarve Coast. It was a well positioned, spacious apartment that was quite private even though it opened on to a lovely grassy area and pool that was available to other guests. The little beach with a cafe between sandstone/limestone cliffs was picturesque. A lovely accessible cliff walk took you to larger beaches and lots of restaurants near the old town of Albufeira. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Cannot say enough about this place-would recommend every time. Walkable to fantastic restaurants and shopping, view is unbeatable. The pool was an added bonus after a day of sightseeing! Easy to access hiking, ocean activities and shops to stock up on provisions. Maria and Robert were very helpful and responsive hosts. Stop looking and book!!

Sean’s apartment was just as advertised. Spacious, modern, comfortable furniture and beds, clean, well equipped and great location. Distance from main square is ideal and if that’s your vibe then only a short walk - maybe 5 minutes, few minutes more to beach area. For us, it was ideal, quieter end of Albufeira but so many restaurants, bars and shops around. Good beach bars and plenty of restaurants to choose from between apartment, square area and beach. Perfect for the chilled week we wanted and we were sad to leave. Sean and his team, Roberto and Raquel were very responsive at all times. Absolutely no complaints. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if going to Albufeira Old Town. 3 older ladies travelling together and we had a fabulous week. Thanks Sean.

Wonderful stay! We had an amazing week in this apartment — probably one of the best we've ever stayed in! Spectacular balcony, excellent location near the beach and about a 15–20 minute walk to the historic center (or Uber/bus for little money). The apartment is super well-equipped, with everything you need, even chairs and a beach umbrella, as well as a Nespresso machine! A special highlight is João's hospitality — always available, attentive and super friendly. Impeccable communication. Small detail (not a criticism): at the end of May, we had no direct sun on the balcony — which for us was perfect, but it may be useful to know for those looking for sun all day. Thank you, João and Ana, for an unforgettable vacation in Lagos!

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived late after our flight was delayed and Rui was there waiting to check us in and show us around. Apartment in lovely location close to shops, restaurants and beach. We were there with 2 small kids and had great time. Rui was in contact during the week to make sure all was ok and very quick to reply to any questions. Had a fabulous week here would highly recommend.

This was one of the best airbnbs we stayed in, and we have stayed in many! It’s such a beautiful apartment, so nicely decorated with a lot of style and high quality. It really felt like a cosy home. And the surroundings are sooo pretty, so many flowers and plants! The outside terrace was amazing, and the small playground was the best for our kids. It is a short drive to the coast or Silves, yet away from the touristy and busy crowds. The owners are super responsive and flexible. The value for money was great, we stayed somewhere half as nice but double the price near the coast before. It was the best and if we ever visit the Algarve again we’d definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!
