Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Praia da Rocha Baixinha

We had booked it for my 70th with all our family. Unfortunately my husband too ill and wasn’t allowed to fly. The rest of the family and grandchildren had the best time. The villa was as it was in the pictures, spacious and clean. The pool was spotless as the pool cleaner came to keep it maintained. It’s the first time my family had been to Portugal and they just loved it and would recommend anyone booking this villa would be very happy. They are due back today and the feedback from them has been very good. Infact we might just book this for next year. Steve and Natalie have been amazing hosts. We all would Definitely Highly Recommend this Villa and Location. 5 Star ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a wonderful 5-day stay as a 30s friend group - the house is absolutely stunning, and felt like a real luxury. It's only about an hour's drive from Faro Airport, AC was great, kitchen really well stocked even for a bit group and the outdoor area / BBQ were ideal! It's in a peaceful neighbourhood (up a massive hill!) and far enough from the other houses to feel private. It was super easy to Uber into Lagos for only €5-7 euros each way - drivers weren't at all daunted by the location, and are fearless with the tiny old town streets in Lagos proper! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone seeking to explore the Algarve :)

Asa’s home is a great spot for a family vacation, it is very comfortable, located in a peaceful complex with a beautiful pool and in close proximity (walking distance) to a beautiful beach. The children enjoyed the home so much as it also had a small playground next door to the house. There were two other areas also within a walking distance with restaurants and other beaches. All in all greatly recommended. Thank you for the beautiful visit. 🤍

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It’s quite small, but absolutely perfect for two people! It has everything you might need — all the kitchen utensils if you want to cook something. The apartment even has beach umbrellas, which were incredibly useful for us! The towels are snow-white, and so is the bed linen. Marisa gave us great recommendations for cafés and restaurants. We 100% recommend this apartment for a comfortable holiday stay. Thanks a lot :-)

Fabulous location in the middle of the old/historic part of the town.. & very convenient/central to get around the historic town & waterfront ... also public transport close by... Shops & restaraunts nearby.. Small but very comfy apartment with everything you need ....& the rooftop terrace is a gorgeous added bonus... & amazing view of the storks nesting on neighbouring rooftops!.... Angela was incredibly helpful when we needed it...& very friendly... All round a great place to spend some time in Faro in... we loved it!

Very nice apartment in the middle of a quiet village in Pêra with direct view of the beautiful village church. Very large rooms, impeccable cleanliness, very friendly and attentive hosts. We had a great time. several small bars nearby, very convenient for a nice breakfast in the morning. lots of beautiful beaches also in the area.

Wow what an amazing apartment. There was 5 of us (3 kids) and the bedrooms were so spacious, as was the living area. The roof top was incredible although it was abit of a heat wave so didn’t use as much as we’d of liked! The location is perfect, shop over the road, coffee shop few doors down, and ten mins to marina. The host was extremely helpful and there to check us in even though it was really later and our uber driver had left us at the wrong place, he kindly picked us up. Pool area is great, really can’t fault it, and will definetley be back!!

the apartment was exactly as described which is rare. all the amenities you require, clean and spacious apartment. The outdoor area and the pool are an extra bonus. Quiet area. Very close to the local suoermarket( walking distance). Short taxi journey to beach/ old town/ new town. Could walk it if you wanted. Great location for families. would highly recommend

The location was perfect. That’s why this was our second visit to Villa Bonita. We cannot recommend Tiago and his property highly enough. Tiago was quick to respond and ensure we had everything we needed. We stayed there for 2 weeks with family and friends in 2023 and just enjoyed another 3 weeks with family. The property is very homey, doesn’t feel like a short term rental. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of wonderful dining options nearby. Hope to get back there again. Thanks Tiago.

As a solo traveller this provided everything that I needed and more. Great location, modern, stylish apartment complex, with a fantastic large private and fully furnished terrace. The hosts kindly stocked the kitchen with some food items and refreshments which was greatly appreciated, albeit there is a large supermarket available within 5 minutes walk. The location was ideal for my needs, as it was not too close to the hassle and bustle of Albufeira which provided a quiet place to relax, but equally only 10-15 minutes walk from the new town bars, beach and restaurants or 20-25 minutes walk to the old town. The complex provides underground secure car parking, which was a great benefit, as I rented a car and explored the main locations of the Algarve, all with peace of mind. All in all, the accommodation, location and friendly hosts provided for what was a fantastic first time holiday to Albufeira, which I would recommend to anyone. Many thanks to Nancy and Arthur.

We absolutely loved staying here, it felt like a home from home! The decor was cool, and outside areas floral and well maintained. Micael communicated well when we needed him, absolutely no complaints about anything, infact I wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again!

Oh well, whenever you come across superlatives on Airbnb you'd get suspicious. This home and the warm-felt welcoming of Agi found no challenger during all our time booking by Airbnb. This was a heavenly calm, beautiful place. We'd not only love to come back but stay forever. Thank you for giving us the opportunity and taking the extra time to show us around.

A wonderful stay right on the beach. Playground across the street for our granddaughter. Offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Great restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend.

Lovely and peaceful stay and a perfect location to explore the amazing area in and around Tavira, a truly underrated part of the Algarve. The house is perfect for a small family. Very chilled, off the beaten path. Great stay and super easy!

Absolutely perfect stay — 10/10! This was the ideal place for a visit to the Algarve. Rosa was hands down the best host I’ve ever had on Airbnb. From the moment I booked, she went above and beyond. Before I even arrived, she sent a detailed guide with everything I needed to know about the property, plus amazing recommendations for local restaurants, sights, and hidden gems. The home itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a fantastic stay. I truly couldn’t recommend this place more — I’ll definitely be coming back!

We absolutely loved Sergio’s villa, it had everything we needed, with magnificent views across the valley. It was sooo peasant and pleasant. The kids loved the heated pool and the garden. We will be back!!!!

It was a fantastic stay at the beautiful villa. The home is clean throughout and there were no faults at all with the villa. Cátia was always responsive and polite. Our flight got in earlier than expected and she went out of her way to allow us an earlier check In which I can’t thank enough. The house is in a perfect location with a nice Italian, Brazilian and Mediterranean restaurant which were all very reasonable and fantastic. It is also 2 minutes away from the Aldi supermarket. The use of uber meant we were 5 minutes away from the marina. Around 10-15 from old town and within a 20 minute walking distance to the beach. The local bar ‘Malibu bar’ is also fantastic with live sports and polite easy going owners who made our stay unforgettable. The house has a private pool and BBQ which along with ice cold beers made living in the villa perfect. Can’t fault anything and Cátia was polite, respectful and helpful. Perfect stay will be returning next year!

Eva's place was the perfect place to call home in Lagos. It's in a quieter area of the city but still walkable to everywhere. She was very helpful with instructions and advice for our stay and had someone to greet us while she talked us through the place via video call. lots of attention to detail and a very nicely decorated place, but still practical. If you're a light sleeper, ear plugs for the seagulls would be a good idea, but that's the same for anywhere in Lagos. Was able to find parking each day too and instructions in guestbook were great for confirming parking spots. Highly recommend.

Couldn’t recommend johns place highly enough! Beautiful place to stay with equally as good views. Located on the edge of the strip near everything you could possibly need and only 1.5 mile from the old town. John is super helpful and gave us all sorts of relevant information which I was greatly appreciative of. We had a global power cut on the Tuesday and once the power came back on John was the first person to message to make sure we were ok and anything he could help with. I will 100% be back and visiting johns place and also highly recommended this to family and friends Merci John
