Cabin vacation rentals in Pokolbin

We had such an amazing escape here! We drove up and just said "WOW!". The views and jacuzzi take the cabin to the next level. The local wildlife make for such an adventure with the kids, and there is lots to do, despite being so remote. The kids loved playing pool and table tennis at the resort end. Susanne and Dave had everything in the house that we needed and provided the comforts and added extras that just made it all the more thoughtful. Come here prepared to cook all meals or drive into town and grab a meal, even the drive is nice. We loved clocking off from the world and just enjoying our time away from all the busy. Thanks so much for making our stay so memorable :)

The most memorable get away we have ever had. Adorable and comfortable cabin with the most spectacular views. Adults, teens and kids all loved our stay and didn't want to leave. We had a beautiful and tranquil weekend here. It was absolutely stunning. Of course the highlight were the gorgeous animals who so friendly and approachable and made the trip feel magical. Loved the spa inside the cabin. Bed was really comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had the most unforgettable stay at The Lantern. Tucked away in the stunning Wollombi Valley, this secluded getaway is pure magic. The views of the meadow are simply breathtaking - especially in the morning and at sunset. We loved watching the kangaroos grazing just outside the cabin. The cabin itself is beautifully designed with every detail thoughtfully considered. It’s the perfect balance of simplicity and luxury, offering a sense of calm and comfort that’s hard to find. The hot tub under the stars was an absolute highlight - such a peaceful way to end the day. If you’re looking to unplug and immerse yourself in nature without sacrificing comfort, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back.

Lovely peaceful haven, tucked away at the end of the road around a pretty dam. Cottages are well spaced, well equipped and the grounds lovely to stroll through with our dogs. We loved doing a BBQ breakfast on the terrace and dinner in the restaurant was very good also. We would return to stay here again. Wifi reception is not great, but the peace and quiet is the trade off.

I would highly recommend kylies artists cottage! absolutely beautiful, her sculptures and artworks were even more beautiful and incredible than I could've imagined. Great location, walking distance to town. Very comfy bed, great sleep! Definitely will be returning to this beautiful accommodation!

Fantastic accomodation, beautifully presented, great location. Would suit a family with kids or a large group, plenty of room for everybody.

The place was perfect! We will come back regularly. It was 100% worth it, great location, adorable place and great facilities. The only thing I didn’t like is that there was a fee to bring your dog which I didn’t know about and there was a 2 dog limit, but they made an exception for us which I appreciate a lot.

Carol's site is very peaceful in the middle of nature. The DayDreamer - our accomodation - was the perfect set up for 2 families with many kids and 2 dogs! A lot of space outside to play as the campsites were not occupied during our stay ;) Very relaxing! Also plenty to do short drives away from 10 to 30 min (beach, horse ridding, treetops, even go karting near Newcastle!!) ; plenty to keep everyone busy. If your thing is eating / coffeeing out, there may be other better suited options but it was perfect for us! Thanks.

Great, quiet location and comfortable house. Nicely renovated bathroom and kitchen. No laundry though. The kids loved playing in the yard and exploring. We saw a wombat, kangaroos and kookaburra. The birds were lovely to wake up to in the morning and the fireplace was beautiful to relax in front of.

The perfect base for our Hunter adventure. Location is right in the middle of wine country, with wineries in all directions. The cabin itself was well maintained and had everything we wanted and needed for a perfect stay. They also accommodated our dog which was a major selling point. The accommodation is owned by Harkham Estate, so a free wine tasting was included. The tasting was one of our favourites of the trip. The communication from booking to leaving was first class and always willing to assist where needed. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Krinklewood! The surroundings were stunning, and everyone who worked there was so friendly and accommodating. We did not want to leave! We loved the outdoor pizza oven and cute Instamix camera! We will definitely be back soon. Thanks for an amazing stay x

We had such a great stay here. Highly recommend. The place was exactly as described. The owner was very welcoming to their beautiful home. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The cabin had absolutely everything you would need plus more. 3 nights for us was not enough. Thank you for having us.

As animal lovers, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in the cute cabin among the paddocks. It's got a big balcony where we had our breakfast in the morning, and since we were lucky, we also got to watch the horse riding lesson while having breakfast! It's just nice to be able to roam around and greet with Margrete's friendly dogs and horses. Margrete made us feel well taken cared for and we really appreciated that we were able to see how the horses were fed up close while having Margrete explain the process. Overall, a very friendly, relaxing and educational experience that ticks all our boxes for a weekend escape from our city rat race.

Our stay at Arinya over Christmas was absolutely delightful, the view and wallabies were the top attraction for us, the house is great, well equipped and clean, the resort’s pool, tennis court and pool table are well maintained and considering it was Christmas period we’d expect it crowded but for our surprise it was completely empty and quiet, we enjoyed every single moment. Would definitely go back again! Arinya is such a paradise to relax and unwind and Archana is a wonderful host, always prompt to help, special thanks to her!
