We've only just arrived, and I'm already thinking about going back! What a beautiful and warm cottage in the forest. It was really what I expected and what I needed. My boyfriend loved it too. The location is not to be overlooked for lovers of hiking, beautiful hikes in the Parc des Appalaches and the Massif du Sud. Just wow! And thank you to Rachelle for the delicious muffins!

The house is nice and very comfortable, large enough to accommodate a family of 10 without being cramped. The windows allow you to enjoy the beautiful river view. The exterior is well maintained and the grounds are private. Everything is very clean and the house is fully equipped. Our favorites in addition to the view of the St. Lawrence: the fireplace and the piano. We'll be back!

Dannie was able to provide perfect instructions on the inner workings of the chalet and we were able to access the chalet with ease. Dannie did reach out multiple times to ask if everything was going ok and since it was we did not need any help and the hosts were very helpful before our arrival so that helped.

We enjoyed the three days spent in this very comfortable, carefully furnished cottage. It was the starting point for visits and discoveries on the banks of a breathtaking river. A charming stopover on our journey to discover Quebec.

Impeccable house, even better than the photos suggested. A fireplace awaited us, nice attention. I hope to be able to go back in the summer, there is bcp of equipment available to guests.

We had a fantastic stay at Kanawata. The cottage was beautiful - very spacious, amazing amenities, comfortable, clean and beautiful views and surroundings. The pool table and arcade games were a big hit with our kids (who are in their early twenties), and the sauna and hot tub were a bit hit with all of us. The surroundings are spectacular, with lots of hiking trails nearby. The town of La Malbaie was about a 15 minute drive with lots of shops and restaurants. Sylvie was an excellent host - very responsive and gave us lots of great local recommendations. I would highly recommend if you are visiting the region with a larger group - any time of year!

This cottage was great! Beautiful, large, clean and comfortable. Communication was easy and it was easy to access the cottage. I recommend it to everyone and we will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Cyril’s place. The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, with beautiful views of the Saint Lawrence River and the check-in process was seamless. Cyril was incredibly responsive and made sure we felt right at home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Looking forward to returning in the future!

We had the BEST weekend gathering with friends from Maine, New Brunswick and Quebec. Everything was as described, and the space was perfect for a large group. We especially loved the themed bedrooms, indoor hang out area, outdoor spaces and private, not rocky, swimming area. We walked to eat at the brewery (1 min away) and had amazing food and service. Overall, this chalet is stunning and had everything we needed and more for an amazing weekend! We are thinking about making this a yearly trip! :)

We had a very nice weekend we were 14 and the cottage had space for all of us. We will definitely go back everyone really enjoyed it. The view and is absolutely incredible as soon as we enter the cottage.

We had a great weekend at the cottage! It was very easy to access and well cleared of snow at the entrance. The place is beautiful and really quiet, our dog was very happy also to be able to observe nature through the many windows! It was perfect for exploring the Appalachian Park. The proximity to Mont Grand-Fond is an undeniable asset for outdoor and ski enthusiasts. A big thank you to Marie-Claude for her responsiveness and professionalism. She answered all our questions quickly and with great kindness, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this cottage and hope to be back soon!

We had a lovely stay at Chantal's place, she was very responsive and helpful to resolve a few very minor issues. The view is absolutely breath-taking, we loved enjoying our meals in the big kitchen and living area while taking in the beautiful surroundings !

We had an amazing time at Patrick's place! It's a perfect spot for spending quality time with friends or family. The area is incredibly calm and quiet, with a private lake that's great for kayaking and paddle boarding. The house was very clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed. Patrick was a fantastic host—super friendly, he explained everything clearly and even gave us great tips on nearby places to visit in Temiscouata. Highly recommend!
