We had a lovely time in Ivo's Villa. Stayed with family there and it exceeded our expectations. The photos do not capture the real life beauty. literally steps from the sea and stunning views of the water. It was very well equipped with everything you would need in a holiday home. The rooms were bright and airy, kitchen is fabulous and there is lovely furniture and swings outside where we spent alot of our time. The children loved it there especially the sea and swings outside. Perfect for adults and also families. We would not hesitate in booking again. Ivo is a great host and met us personally on check in. Nothing negative to report there are excellent BBQ facilities for outdoor cooking. I can imagine it's stunning in the winter also but we had a lovely summer visit. Make a booking for this beautiful villa the best surprise was the sauna in the house!!

The place is breathtaking! You can spend few hours just looking at all design elements and historic items.. The amount of work, talent and love put in this home is incredible. The yard and garden looks hipster and fun. We loved the place and will be definitely back!

Holiday near the sea!

We stayed in Egons's place with three children... inside there was enough sleeping places and we had everything we needed. The place has quite big outside area with nice sitting places, trampoline etc. Children were playing football and tennis (we had our net with us), running around and enjoying themselves. As a bonus there was also friendly dog and a cat. Sea is one minute away, good resto "Bermuda" (recommended by Egons) is some minutes by car. We stayed in the place only four days, could imagine to stay longer. :)

Merveilleux petit nid douillet. Endroit paisible et calme. Literie très confortable. La décoration est certes chargée mais cela en fait un lieu agréable et très cosy. C’est une tente mais sûrement bien plus confortable qu’un hôtel quelconque. Hôte disponible et réactif, très accueillant. Le sauna est incroyable et en bonus il y a une baignoire à côté du lit !! J’ai passé un superbe séjour.

Благодарю Сергея и Ольгу за возможность провести прекрасные выходные в таком замечательном месте! Квартира полностью соответствует описанию и представленным фотографиям. В ней есть все, что может понадобиться гостям во время проживания и даже чуть больше. Благодарю за приятные комплименты к моменту заезда, а также за предоставленную возможность выехать чуть позже ! Квартира находится в таком замечательном месте, что мы не упустили возможность погулять еще разок по морю перед отъездом. Благодарю за четкие инструкции о том, как попасть в дом и за рекомендации о бронировании посещения СПА комплекса заранее. Воспользовались Вашими советами и наш отдых был спланирован идеально! И прогулки, и релакс! Это были просто шикарные выходные! Идеальные!

Dille un Pipars cozy home near the sea

This is a great place to stay in Jurmala! The railway station is a few minutes away on foot, the sea and the beach are about 10-15 minutes away. Right behind the fence starts a beautiful forest, where you could walk and pick very tasty blueberries. The apartment itself is divided into 3 rooms - a bedroom, a living room with a sofa and a kitchen with another sofa. There is an absolutely stunning balcony with dining table and sofa. There is a gas cooker on the balcony and it was a real pleasure to cook breakfast there in the morning. Many thanks to the owner for his hospitality, it was a pleasure to talk to him about various things.

Pavisam noteikti rekomendēju arī citiem ceļotājiem. Dzīvoklī ir viss nepieciešamais, lai komfortabli varētu uzturēties, sākot no virtuves piederumiem līdz pat higiēnas līdzekļiem vannas istabā. Par visu ir padomāts, lai uzturēšanās būtu komfortabla pat ja kaut kas ir aizmirsies no nepieciešamajām lietām. Kā arī saimniece ir ļoti jauka un pretimnākoša.

Ļoti jauka mājiņa meža ielokā, pastaigas attālumā no jūras. Karstajā laikā liels pluss bija kondicionieris. Lai gan mājiņa ir neliela, tajā bija pietiekami plaša vannas istaba, ērts virtuves stūrītis. Saimniece Ramona sniedza noderīgus padomus par apkārtni un atpūtas iespējām, bija ļoti atvērta komunikācijai. Iesaku citiem atpūtu šajā jaukajā namiņā! :)

First of all, Aiva and Peter are the best hosts I have ever experienced, they really made me feel like home. Secondly, the place is so magical and romantic, that words cannot describe it, this was definitely the best vacation I have ever had in Latvia. We were very pleased with our stay at Karlis’ house, which features a charming garden, a cozy terrace, and comfortable upstairs bedrooms. We stayed for three days with our dog, who was warmly welcomed. The nearby forest, with its many scenic trails, was perfect for walks. The peaceful, nature-filled area just outside Riga was ideal for relaxing. The house’s rustic feel, especially on the lower floor, added to its charm. The front door was an unforgettable, authentic detail—it felt like stepping into a Grimm’s fairy tale. The house has been modernized with care, preserving its unique "cigar box" character, especially at the lower floor. Karlis' house is truly a gem, and it was a delight to learn about the artist who once lived there and see his remarkable sculptures still on display.
