I had a good stay at Taffy Resort in Weligama. The area is calm and peaceful—perfect for relaxing while still being close to everything you need. The apartment itself is well-equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay, including warm water, air conditioning, and a small but functional kitchen setup. The internet works well overall, though occasional power outages do occur in the area. These aren't specific to the resort and seem to affect the whole neighborhood, so it’s good to be prepared for that. The owner is very kind, responsive, and always ready to help. Communication was quick and smooth throughout my stay. Regular room cleaning was also provided, which was much appreciated. Overall, it’s a great spot for a peaceful stay in Weligama with everything you need.

We stayed here for 12 nights and it was absolutely lovely. The listing doesn’t tell you but there are hosts on the property who take excellent care of you as well! Lakmal and his family cooked all our meals, did our washing and kept the place very clean. They even sorted a car for us during our time there. They were so lovely and amazing with our 2 year old who absolutely loved them! The property is in a brilliant location, close by to Weligama (15 minute walk to the beach). It is just like the photos and extremely clean, Lakmal and his family also cleaned it regularly whilst we were there and provided us with anything we requested. I would definitely recommend this to anyone seeking a quieter property outside of the busy Weligama but close enough to enjoy it during the daytime.

Our stay in Weligama was truly relaxing and peaceful. Nestled by a gently flowing river, the serene surroundings offered a perfect escape from the rush of daily life. The natural beauty all around added to the charm, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk or drive to stunning beaches and a variety of amazing cafes. Whether we wanted to unwind in nature or explore the vibrant coastal scene, everything was close by. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy your vacation.

Our last stay on our trip to Sri Lanka was at this place. We felt at home. They were very kind to us, both giving us good directions and being flexible with the check-out time, as one of our flights was delayed. He helped us find transportation to the airport. The accommodation itself has a restaurant where you can have delicious food for breakfast. We left very happy and grateful, we recommend it 100%.

Just returned from one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. The villa is lovely, location is excellent and what made it even better was Kumar and the team who made our stay so very special! We were a party of 8 with 4 kids and did excursions every day. Thanks to the recommendations and organisations of Kumar, we did everything from whale watching, cooking class, tea plantation, turtle hatchery, surf lessons, beach clubs and a Galle tour. What also made the stay amazing, was the quality of the food! We had a very varied menu for picky eaters, sea food bbq, specialised curries and Italian food, all delicious and prepared beautifully! The location is also incredible with amazing views, little private beach and walking distance to jungle beach and easy tuktuk rides to loads of amenities and activities. Honestly cannot recommend this place enough!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Sri Lanka and we were a group of 6 people. The property was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with a great pool that made our trip even more relaxing. The location was peaceful and perfect for a getaway. What truly made our experience exceptional was with the host Supun. He was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and went above and beyond when we accidentally left behind a wallet. He not only found it but also arranged to have it couriered back to us—something we’re truly grateful for. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Great property and an even better host!

The Ceylon Slider’s Team was very helpful and welcoming as we’ve noticed of most people in the hospitality industry of Sri Lanka. The place was a little hard to find, but once we found it, it was easy to find our way back. The house is located in a secure fenced area and there’s a helpful man next door that often greeted us at the gate. There was lots of options for food nearby, but the best of the beach was about 1km down closer to the Marriott. Or at least, that’s the area of the beach I prefer. Many options for Tuks in the area, drinks, etc. Checkin happened at the hotel and we left right at Checkout, so the host met us outside as we were leaving. The home itself was exactly as expected. Lots of fans both outside and inside, and the rooms had ice cold AC which was much needed after a long hot day in the sun. It’d be a cool spot for a group of two couples looking to stay for a week in Weligama, especially if you like cooking and entertaining in the house and on the patio.
