Huge apartment with amazing views over the sea and up to the moorish castle. Looked exactly like the photos. Lisa was so friendly and helpful when we met her and she also answered any queries almost immediately prior to our arrival. Would highly recommend to all

Le logement est très bien situé et permet de faire tout à pieds ce qui facilite les déplacement et permet d’économiser de l’argent. Les 2 chambres et salles de bain sont à l’opposé et séparés par le salon et la cuisine ce qui permet une grande intimité pour 2 couple tout en permettant de profiter des endroits communs ensemble. La terrasse intime est un must.

Uma casa pequena mas simplesmente aconcchegante, as crianças amaram a área externa do jardim e piscina. a Maria foi extremamente receptiva e prestativa, nós ajudou e deixou tudo em ordem para nos receber. Mas indicaria com conforto e privacidade para até 2 pessoas.

Perfect stay. Super responsive host. The pictures don’t do it true justice. Everything you could possibly need especially if you have kids. Fully equipped kitchen with absolutely everything. The shed full of kids toys was amazing for my toddler. Walkable to the beach and some fab restaurants. Lovely bathrooms and modern bathrooms. It is directly opposite the train station so you do hear the train frequently. Didn’t bother us as it’s quite a relaxing sound in my opinion. Overall perfect location to get to Cascais and Lisbon easily. Lovely garden with sun loungers and outdoor seating. Be aware the sprinklers come on every few hours if you’re sat outside. Cute little bbq to. Highly recommend.

Carlos was a great host the space is beautiful clean and spacious. the location is close to many beautiful areas. We stayed here because we were in town for a friends wedding and it was easily accessible to all the events in cascais and estoril. Carlos gave us lots of recommendations and the instructions for check in were very organized and easy to understand. Would definitely stay here again

Had a fantastic stay, in a lovely apartment. The family were very welcoming (my daughter loved our daily visits from Luna). Helena was super friendly, and made us feel comfortable and ensured we had everything we needed - thank you. Perfect location, close to the beach with the added bonus of the pool. We would love to return.

5-star all around. We love having a complete kitchen as we cook and make smoothies and they had everything, including a blender and many other things. The place is perfectly decorated, the bed is so comfortable. A block away from the train station. Parking all around. Great host. Would stay here again, even for a whole month.

Rui was fantastic. We were stuck in traffic coming in from the airport and he stayed to greet us personally. On the day we checked out, our Uber didn’t show up as promised and Rui quickly helped us find a driver. His home was a perfect place for us to recover from jet lag. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk from his home. The supermarket is near the train station approximately 1 mile away. We walked it several times during our stay to catch the train for sightseeing in Lisbon. If you love the beach, surf vibe, this place is a perfect. Thank you, Rui 😎

We had a fantastic three-week stay at this lovely apartment. It is bright, airy, and thoughtfully renovated, and a compact yet well-designed layout. The space is impeccably clean and equipped with everything one could need for a comfortable stay. Located in a peaceful area of Carcavelos, the apartment offers a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. It's a highly walkable neighborhood, with easy access to the nearby train station, supermarket, and a great selection of cafés and restaurants—Euphoria and M Café quickly became our favorites. One of the highlights of our stay was exploring the beautiful surroundings on foot. Strolling along the stunning beach promenade to Cascais and towards Lisbon was a joy, as was visiting nearby parks like Parque dos Poetas and Jardim da Quinta da Alagoa. Maria is an exceptional host— dedicated to ensuring a wonderful experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area!

Petter is a wonderful host :-). The accommodation was just perfect: close to Lisbon, beautiful view to the atlantic ocean and surrounded by greenery and super private. Everything was exactly as described - maybe even better.

I loved the location close to ocean, train station, and grocery store. I plan to hopefully rent again from Maria.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Maria hat uns herzlich begrüßt und alles erklärt. Sie war auch während des Aufenthalts gut erreichbar. Die verglaste Terrasse hat uns auch an kühleren Morgen erlaubt, in der Sonne zu Frühstücken. Die Nähe zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Strand war toll. Alles zu Fuss möglich!! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, appartement impeccable , très facile d'accès par le train, station à 2mn à pied, en 30 mn nous sommes à Lisbonne. Accès facile à Sintra (incontournable) en Uber, environ entre 9 et 10 euros la course, bien plus commode que train + bus à notre goût. José est un hôte parfait, discret et disponible à la demande. Nous recommandons vivement

Es war absolut alles perfekt und mit Abstand die bisher schönste Wohnung, in der wir je waren. Tolle und neuwertige Einrichtung und zudem hat es an nichts gefehlt. Auch war die Wohnung super sauber - absolutes Hotelniveau. Die Lage ist klasse - Restaurants, Bars, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten quasi direkt vor der Tür. Der Strand ist ebenfalls schnell zu erreichen, an dem man auch mit einem gemütlichen Spaziergang in ca einer Stunde nach Cascais gelangt - oder man nimmt die Bahn, die direkt vor der Tür hält. Übrigens haben wir von den Zügen auch nachts kaum etwas mitbekommen. Die gesamte Abwicklung mit Maria war unkompliziert und sehr sympathisch. Wir würden die Wohnung sofort wieder buchen und können sie jedem empfehlen.

This was the perfect “home away from home”, ending our Portugal adventure exactly how we wanted to. A quiet “hide-away”, beautifully furnished and decorated, gorgeous and comfortable patio area… very private! While not in the centre of Lisbon, we were a short ( and inexpensive!) Bolt/Uber drive away from all we wanted to see. And then coming back to our quiet retreat at the end of the day was exactly what worked for us. Lucinda was so extremely helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this lovely spot 😊

Der Aufenthalt in der Casa do Mar hat in jeder Hinsicht perfekt gepasst. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig, zu Fuss nur wenige Minuten vom Strand, der Busstation den Restaurants und dem mercado entfernt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben alles blitzsauber angetroffen. Im hübsche Garten kann man bestens verweilen und die Mahlzeiten einnehmen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Haus weiterempfehlen.

Was a great stay. The flat is near the beach and promenade (10 mins walk) and a train station that brings you to Lisbon. The Continent shop is a few minutes’ walk. The flat corresponds to the photos and is quite cozy, even having a fireplace that was really useful in Jan. I had marvelous breakfasts with a spectacular ocean view and sunsets/sunrises on the balcony. No noise from neighbors, so I slept well. The bed and mattress are comfortable. The host is very responsive and pleasant to talk to. The only thing I might note, just to consider, is that the shower door is quite narrow, so if you are pregnant, for example, it might become a challenge. Also, the bathroom smells, which can be fixed by closing the door, but anyway.. As a conclusion, that doesn’t affect my stay, and I would definitely recommend it and would be glad to get back. Superbe appartement dans un bâtiment magnifique. Grande terrasse très agréable. Les fenêtres et les cloisons diminuent grandement les bruits extérieurs et permettent de bien dormir. Literie et lit très confortable. Un bel endroit sécuritaire pour passer plusieurs jours à Lisbonne !

This is an excellent property with a great view and private heated pool with terrific outdoor space and chaise lounges. There is also a great coveted outdoor living space/area.

Appartement très pratique, 2 chambres 2 salles de bain. Néanmoins pas trop adapté aux enfants en bas âge, car appartement riche en décoration et plantes ce qui peut être compliqué à gérer de temps en temps. Cuisine lumineuse et toute équipée. Café, restaurants et courses à proximité. Pas loin de la plage et d'espaces verts.

We really enjoyed our 8 days at Joaos apartment. it is equipped with everything you need - fully functioning kitchen, clean oven, dishwasher and washer- dryer. There were always dishwasher tablets, washing powder, coffee and so on. The owners really put a lot into this place and make it comcomfortable. Its walkable to most of the places (train station, beach, promenade). Thank you
