What a beautiful place to stay! This was a wonderful central location for exploring Normandy and a comfortable and peaceful haven for rest.

We cannot say enough good things about Christian’s Chateau! The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and made for a very peaceful start to our month long Europe trip. We loved greeting their horse and chickens each day and waking up in the bucolic countryside. It was the perfect gateway to Normandy and had everything you could possibly need for a memorable stay. The bedrooms were huge and beyond comfortable and you literally have an entire castle to yourself which makes you feel like royalty! The decor is whimsical and Victorian and adds to the charm and homeyness Christian certainly treated us like royalty too; he answered all of our questions in a timely manner, gave great area recommendations, and even left us a basket of delicious croissants for lunch! We relished the peace and quiet of this Airbnb and feeling like we could truly rest and escape the hustle and bustle. Thanks for being an amazing host and making our time in France so wonderful, Christian! :)

nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Alexis et Marina. l'endroit est paisible, impeccable et cosy, parfaitement ressemblant au descriptif, les hôtes très à l'écoute. nous avons visité le coin dont l'île de tatihou, c'était une semaine très sympathique. nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Medhi. Il est très accueillant, arrangeant et réactif. Le logement était encore mieux que sur les photos. On s’y sent bien et nos chiens aussi. Un gros plus pour nous de pouvoir trouver ce type de logement avec eux. Proximité des plages, des musées. Un vrai dépaysement. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

What a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. It was great sitting outside in the morning having a coffee listening to the birds singing and the church bells ringing. It was also nice to have access to the gardens with a swimming pool, tennis court and table tennis. We were holidaying to visit the various D-Day beaches and museums which were all within a short drive. The property is well appointed with everything you could need. Arnaud & Jessica were friendly and helpful and would respond to any questions within minutes.

We’ve had a lovely stay! Beatrice was very welcoming and showed us around. The house is lovely and comfortable and clean. Its in a rural area which means its quiet, and the countryside is pretty. We had the heating on as it was a little chilly, and we also lit a fire in the lounge a few evenings which really felt cost and atmospheric. We sat out for breakfast and havjming the French doors meant we could watch the local wildlife whilst we were sat at the table. The Nespresso machine as a bonus! Bedrooms were comfy and tastefully decorated. Lots of leaflets on places to visit. Great to have a ground floor bedroom and bathroom for the elderly. The village Le Molay Littryis about 4 miles away and we went there (Boulangerie Zearo) for breakfast pastries and cakes. There’s a huge L’Eclerc in the outskirts of Bayeux for everything else. Close to lots of places, such as Bayeux. We explored Omaha and Utah beaches and St Mere Eglise which weren't too far away. All in all, a great place to stay

Sébastien a été un hôte très prévenant et agréable . Le logement est conforme aux photos. Je dirais que pour 4 personnes c’est un peu petit, car il manque des rangements pour les courses et pour les vêtements. La literie et très confortable. Les jeux et la piscine CAP FUN sont comme toujours géniaux pour les enfants.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Stephan nous a très bien accueilli avec un excellent repas des iles. Logement très grand, et spacieux, il propose beaucoup de d'activités, billard / babyfoot / barbecue..... Le jaccouzi est un gros plus. Je recommande vivement !! :)

Très Bel Appartement avec une très belle vue. Très proche du port et du centre. Nous avons pu profiter des commerces et restaurants sans prendre la voiture. L'appartement est très mignon et très bien entretenu, Stéphanie est une hôte disponible et qui réponds au moindres question. Je n'hésiterais pas a reprendre ce logement lorsque je retournerai dans le coin.

Un hôte à l'écoute et disponible. Un logement spacieux et très bien équipé pour passer du temps dans la location (piscine, ping-pong, pétanque, billard...). À l'extérieur, le village est calme et la mer est assez proche.

We had an amazing stay at Regine and Eric’s idyllic property, they could not have done more to make us feel welcome. The property is bursting with character and has all necessary facilities. The grounds are beautiful and the swimming pool was the icing on the cake. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A stunning location to rest and relax as well as use as a base to explore the raft of amazing surrounding areas. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean - Sandra was an excellent host. Das Haus ist wunderschön, praktisch und sehr gemütlich. Die überdachte Terrasse ist wunderbar um das Frühstück draußen zu genießen und auch abends noch länger draußen zu bleiben. Die Landungsstrände sind gut zu erreichen. In Bayeux gibt es sehr gute Bäckereien und alle Geschäfte. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Haus absolut empfehlen!

Warm, persoonlijk welkom. Ruim appartement, voldeed ruimschoots aan alle verwachtingen. Geweldige locatie, heerlijk rustig. Heerlijk ontbijt. Chantal reageert snel en oog voor wat een klant graag wil. Geweldige dagen gehad.

Das Haus direkt am Meer was überwältigigend schön. Sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche Sehr gut ausgestattet von A wie Austernbrecher bis Z wie Zitronenpresse ,alles da um ausgiebig zu Kochen. Internet super schnell ! Es wurde an genügend Steckdosen und Leisten gedacht um elektronische Geräte bequem zu laden. Der Pelletofen ist leicht zu bedienen und bringt eine behagliche Atmosphäre, wenn es draußen stürmt und kalt ist. Die Umgebung ganz wunderbar zum Wandern und Fahrrad fahren. Kleiner Supermarkt in Quinéville. Weitere gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Quettehou ( auch prima Bioladen !) Ein unvergesslicher Urlaub!

Wir haben fünf wunderbare und erholsame Tage in diesem schönen Haus am Meer verbracht. Auf der großen Terrasse dem Meeresrauschen zu lauschen oder das Gezeitenspiel zu beobachten war sehr entspannend. Ein perfekter Ort um die Gegend zu erkunden. Danke Chrislaine und Florian für die reibungslose Kommunikation und die kleine Aufmerksamkeit zum Empfang.

Très belle chambre d’hôte, dans un endroit paisible et charmant. Central pour rayonner dans les attractions touristiques de la région. Bonne option pour les familles - nous sommes 5. L’accueil de Peter et sa famille est irréprochable et le logement décoré avec soin. Mention spéciale au sauna avec vue sur la nature environnante !

A wonderful place to stay in rural Normandy. Jean-Francois is an excellent, friendly & helpful host. La Baronnie offers everything you need for a peaceful getaway, with excellent outdoor space to complement the cosy lounge and kitchen/diner. Gouvets is a lovely quiet village with nice walks, and well located for the major sights and attractions of Normandy

Maison au calme en campagne normande. Toutes les commodités à quelques minutes en voiture ou vélos. Jardin clos. Eric est reactif et disponible. Très bon contact.

This was exactly we had hoped for. Steps away from a major WWII D Day site on a one way street that saw very little traffic. The space was clean and in, what I would call, a very historic home. I recommend this booking for anyone who would like to be centrally located for the historic beaches of Normandy during D Day or a quiet villa 400 meters from the calming waters of the ocean.
