Todd & Karen's place was amazing- better than the photos! Beautiful home, very clean, lots of room, and perfectly set up for large groups. Big deck with private backyard and hot tub. It was perfect for relaxing outside in the wilderness. There was helpful notes and post its around the house - I really appreciated the attention to this! There is another dwelling on the property, but we did not see anyone, and it did not bother us. We look forward to coming back again next year.

Loved this cabin in the woods. Really close to so many awesome hikes and the hot tub at the end of the day was very luxurious. Everything was perfect. Jacqueline is an exceptionally attentive host with beautiful design sense that shines in every corner of the cabin. Would love to return again to explore more of the Bruce Trail and surrounding towns.

John was a great host! Super friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay. His co-host pup Shado was a sweetheart and always wagged her tail when we came in. We stayed in the bunkie which was super cozey, clean, warm and private which overlooks the lake when sleeping in the bed. The main house was beautiful and had a great view of the lake from his living room as well as outside. We watched the sunrise on his 3 story deck and the outdoor hot tub overlooking the lake was a highlight of our evening. The washroom in the main house is shared with another guest that is staying in the house but it was really clean. We highly recommend and would love to stay here again in the summer months!

Our stay at Michelle’s place was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Michelle went above and beyond as a host she was warm, friendly, and incredibly responsive. She shared helpful details about the area, which made us feel right at home. One of the most memorable parts of our visit was the sound bath experience she offered. It was unlike anything we've ever encountered deeply moving, grounding, and beautifully orchestrated. Michelle's gentle and intuitive approach helped us feel safe and open to the experience, allowing us both to truly dive into it. Each sound was unique and contributed to an atmosphere of peace and reflection. The space itself was romantic and thoughtfully designed. Every little touch was noticed and appreciated it’s clear Michelle puts a lot of love into what she does. We left feeling rested, inspired, and so grateful. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for something truly special. I would hands down come back to this airbnb in a heart beat.

Millpond cabin was the perfect retreat to celebrate my partner’s birthday over the long weekend! We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities on site - especially the luxurious outdoor sauna. The cabin itself is cozy and thoughtfully designed with a gorgeous kitchen space available to prepare meals. Kate was a lovely host who was always responsive when we had questions. All in all a gem of an experience. Will definitely be returning!

The drive up was lovely, and the location was breathtaking. The home is clearly well maintained and Shaolin put a lot of effort and thought into every detail of the place. This would be a great place for a vacation for a couple or 2-3 friends that has a direct view of the lake, a hot tub that has a good amount of privacy and anyone who enjoys nature. There was also some basic necessities provided such as shampoo/body wash as well as oil and sugar and some other items on hand which would’ve been very useful if we had forgotten anything. Ultimately, I would come back again!

We had a great stay at Stella’s place! Everything was as described. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location close to Bala and Gravenhurst. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Would stay here again!

My friends and I stayed at this cottage over Thanksgiving weekend and had an amazing time! The cottage was clean and had all the amenities needed. The location was beautiful, with the canoe, kayak and pedal boat being an amazing way to explore the lake. Kristian was also a great host - responded fast, gave recommendations, and was very welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place!

Janice was an amazing and incredibly thoughtful host. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely appreciated by all the small, personalized touches. Her instructions were clear, detailed, and so helpful — she really thought of everything we might need during our stay. We especially appreciated how responsive and kind she was, including leaving the canoe out for us, complete with a cup to bail out rainwater. She also let us know about the fire ban in advance, which was very considerate. The cottage itself had more than we expected — cozy and well-stocked. We had such a great time kayaking, canoeing, and fishing on the lake. Would absolutely stay here again.

Gary’s place was a perfect location for my partner and I. Very friendly host and extremely accommodating during our stay. Loved the rustic and cabin feel. Would definitely come back, lots of parks and things to do even during holiday hours. Thanks for your kindness Gary!

My wife and I had a great weekend stay. a very nice tiny house with a full size bathroom, sofa and laundry. my wife used the sauna a couple times and she loved it. Worth the stay for sure!

My family and I stayed 5 days at the cottage. Its rustic charm is stunning and very cozy. It's very private and peaceful. There is no internet so you are truly disconnected from the world. The beds are comfortable and the linens were clean. My dog also loved the place and could roam are outside. We had a lovely time and would definitely rebook. Just remember to bring bug spray!

Our Misty River Cabin stay was absolutely dreamy. We stayed for a weekend with our dog and left feeling relaxed and refreshed after a beautiful time in nature. The cabin is extremely cozy and has all the cottage feel while still being very luxurious. Every aspect of the cabin from the comfy beds to fully equipped kitchen (and so much more) made it feel very bespoke and special. It rained almost the entire time, but we still enjoyed every moment as we could snuggle in the Muskoka room (with outdoor fire) and watch rain fall on the river as the birds sang, or enjoy movies on the cozy couch next to the fire. Our dog got to enjoy plenty of play on the little beach and shallow water too. It was wonderful to have a vacation the entire family could enjoy. We hope to come back soon!

It was a lovely and cozy place. The house and kitchen were well equipped with everything we needed. The backyard was beautiful, and the rooms were clean. Really glad we chose to stay here. The hosts were very kind and super accommodating. Thank you!

We had a really nice September weekend at Helen's cottage. The cottage is bright with nice big windows. The property on the river is beautiful with some lovely birch trees. We were especially happy to sit on the muskoka chairs and read our books. Very peaceful. Lots of outdoor seating options and the gazebo accessible from the kitchen or the back deck was especially appreciated. We ate most of our meals there. We were all happy with this cottage.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin in Creemore. The place was spotless, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. The setting was peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for unwinding. John was a fantastic host – super friendly, responsive, and full of great local recommendations that really added to the experience.

It is clear the owners have put a lot of care and thought to every aspect of a stay at their cottage. Outside, there were 3 canoes available with PFDs and paddles; the dock was perfect for fishing- we caught bass and sunfish, and catfish, plus we also swam too. Pool noodles and ample outdoor dock seating was also available. The outdoor seating and dining area was really wonderful and afforded a view of the river still but also surrounded by trees that sound so lovely in the wind. There are neighbors on either side but everyone keeps to their own and feels very private. The barbecue worked great and it was so thoughtful how there was a lighter and a spatula and tongs clean and provided for easy access. The place was stacked with things you may have forgotten at home like a post-swim q-tip or herbal tea. The forest across the street is uninhabited and was great for mushroom foraging. I would 100% recommend this place as it had exceeded our expectations at every turn.

Location was fantastic. Easy driving distance to towns and trails. A good central location for the places we wanted to go. If you have young children the stairs may be an issue as they are quite steep and hard to navigate in the middle of the night. Upstairs is quite spacious so we took an air mattress and one of our kids slept there while the other took the bed.
