House vacation rentals in Old Town, Dubrovnik

We spent a lovely week at the beautiful River House, it is in a great location and in beautiful surroundings. Katarina was a wonderful host providing clear and timely communications, keeping in touch throughout. We were spoilt by mum who lives nearby bringing treats. I would highly recommend River House as a home from home in Mlini.

We had a wonderful week in an amazing villa. The setting is truly stunning, very peaceful and with a wonderful view over to the Adriatic. The villa itself is very well equipped with the benefit of a great pool and hot-tub, and is located within easy walking distance of Zaton which has some nice bars and restaurants. We visited Dubrovnik and Cavtat which are within easy reach, and also took a ferry to Lokrum Island which is well worth a visit. Overall we had a wonderful stay at Duro’s house and will hopefully return again in the future!

Fantastic stay, very remote but perfect for what we wanted and around 20 mins to the old town by car! Beautiful views and great amenities! Definitely recommend for a group break away :)

Fantastic stay at Sanja’s! The apartment was spotless, the beds were comfy & there was lots of room. Could not rate it high enough. Sanja was so helpful in organising transfers for us & so quick on responding to any questions we had. There were 5 of us sharing & all of us have said we would definitely return with our family’s. Thankyou again Sanja!

Mihovil was a great host and was very helpful in answering all my questions beforehand. The accommodation was clean and tidy and Mihovil provided us with a great selection of drinks and food which was very handy and considerate especially as there was no shop in Bosanka. I’d say the location is great as it was quieter and cooler than Dubrovnik but bear in mind that the bus in the morning only ran at 7am or 11am. If you’re happy to use taxis/uber etc then I would definitely recommend staying here! The restaurant round the corner is excellent too! Thank you Mihovil we had a great time staying in your accommodation! The pool was loved by our daughter despite being cooler due to visiting in May.

Marin greeted us on arrival at the villa, and after a long drive he surprised us with a lunch platter & bottle of wine. The villa was extremely peaceful, with a private pool perfect for relaxing & unwinding. Only a short drive from Dubrovnik, so conveniently located for groceries, bars & restaurants. Should we ever be back in Dubrovnik, we would absolutely stay again 😊

We couldn’t recommend Marija & Antun’s place more highly. Their kindness and hospitality didn’t falter throughout our stay. We felt safe, looked after and relaxed. The house is clean, well kept and had everything we needed. We spent much time admiring the beautiful garden and landscape. It is in a peaceful location but not isolated; with shops, cafes and restaurants close by. Many reviews suggest hiring a car but we found the walk up/down hill to be manageable. We used uber several times when venturing further afield. We enjoyed days by the pool, the beach and evenings at home around the large outdoor table. Local restaurant Forno is a must visit! There is a footpath behind the house that leads you up the hill. We walked up for around 20 mins which was high enough to witness a gorgeous sunset. Bring sensible shoes if this is your kind of thing as the track is stony and steep in parts. We had a wonderful holiday and a large part of this was due to our wonderful hosts and their home

Very helpful and friendly hosts, in a really great location for exploring... we visited Dubrovnik, Mostar in Bosnia and Kotor in Monenegro by car from here!

Great location. Easy to walk to all the restaurants and activities that we did on our trip to Dubrovnik. Beautiful home. Had everything we needed and some thoughtful added bonuses like a supply of coffee and sugar. As well as simple extras like tissues, beach towels & laundry pods in the bathroom. Would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling to Dubrovnik.

It was very nice and cozy in the apartment. The views of the sea and garden were a feast for the eyes. Marija was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very well equipped so we were also satisfied with small luggage. We had a very good, relaxed time.

Beautiful quiet place close to Dubrovnik. ideal base for our city trip. Very friendly host. The outdoor shower was very popular with the children. spacious apartment with neat decor. Definitely recommended if you want to visit the region.

Marija’s place was absolutely wonderful. We really enjoyed our 5 nights there. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs to get there…and keep in mind it’s a three story apartment with the bedroom on top and bathroom on the bottom…so don’t drink a lot of water before bed if you have a small bladder! Those challenges in no way diminished our experience there and the ability to get on a small part of the city walls after hours was quite a surprise bonus.

I had a wonderful two night at this beautiful and artistic apartment. The interior is very well thought of and had a perfect color palatte. The outdoor private area is very peaceful and very well landscaped. Dado was very kind to accommodate me last minute and came all the way down to even get my bags. The location is scenic and from the window of the living room you can see the Gruz harbour. I wish I had a few more days to stay in the beautiful city and accommodation. As I had a very early flight and a lot of luggage Dado went out of the way to drop me to the bus station. I hope to visit Dubrovnik again and stay at the beautiful apartment.

We had a great stay at Glorija’s apartment. The location is brilliant, five minutes from the old town (downhill!). There are quite a few steps up but completely worth it for the view. The space was bigger than expected, very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We would definitely stay again!

Blaženka’s home was absolutely beautiful. Spacious, clean, quiet, beautifully decorated, has all of the necessities. Beautiful bathroom. Comfy beds. I could go on and on! She was very easy to communicate with. And also offered her umbrellas to us on the day we left because it was supposed to rain. I highly recommend her home to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mia's lovely appartement. Perfect location for two people who are visiting Dubrovnik for a few days. The old city centre is within walkinh distance (+-10 minutes) but can also be admired from the wonderful roof terrace. Mia is a great, attentive host and the appartement was great, nice kitchenette, seperate bedroom and shower.

Great Host, Great Location, Super Clean, Great Views, wonderful bedding. Ivica was there to greet us and provide information and recommendations. The apartment was beautiful and brand new. we walked to-from Old Town without issue. If you thinking of staying here I highly recommend any of Iviva's apartments in this building.

Maja is very nice and the Airbnb is a very good one. It's a great value. Just keep in mind the location is outside Dubrovnik so you will have to take the bus or Uber into the city.

We loved Ivan’s place! He sent me very detailed photos on how to get in since we were arriving at night. Gave us very good recommendations for local eats and places near old town as well. Space was perfect for us 2 couples and loved being a bit away from old town. Highly recommend!

Josko and Anita’s place was perfect for us! Right in Old Town by great restaurants and bars and an entrance to the Walls. Quiet space, everything we needed, and the hosts were super helpful with our arrival and being delayed. Would totally stay here again and recommend to anyone coming to Dubrovnik!

Me and my 70year old mum had a great week at Markos house. The way is directly by the sea and you have to step over some rocks and might get wet if it's too windy.Also there are many stairs if you want to go to the store so you gotta be quite fit. Just be prepared for an adventure. If you're there, its beautiful! If it's not too windy you can easily swim directly in front of the house,the water is clear and you can watch the stars at night and listen to only the waves and nature,really peaceful. I've stayed at many airbnbs before and met many nice hosts but I have to say Marko was just perfect.He picked us up at the airport by car and got us and our luggage to the house by boat.Went grocery shopping for us 2 times.Picked us up at the middle of the beach and got us home when we got lost on our way back on our first evening.Always easy to reach.Always really nice.He really did everything to make it as beautiful as possible for us.Thank you so much, Marko! It was a great experience! :)

Zoran’s place was clean, comfortable, spacious and quaintly Croatian. The walk to old town is a good half hour, but there is a frequent bus to Pile gate very close. We loved our stay here…it was a quiet, calm refuge after the busy city.

Lovely place to stay. Nikolina was a great host and very helpful with information on how to get around the city and things to do there. The listing was exactly like the photos and was perfect for our stay.

We LOVED the apartment! Beautifully decorated, perfectly clean and the most lovely view. Martina went out of her way to help us before we arrived and met us on arrival - thank you Martina! We highly recommend this apartment!
