Beachfront vacation rentals in Octeville-sur-Mer

The rental is true to the description and photos, no cheating. The host was available for each of my messages. I really enjoyed the small touches (complimentary bottle of cider which was very good by the way). Hand soap, toilet paper, tissues, sponges are little things that we sometimes forget and it was nice to have them on site. If I had to criticize, it would be the animal hair on the kitchen towels but even that's not it because I knew the rental accepted animals and that's the game. So to conclude, only positive things to say, I would recommend it.

The hostess was very friendly and accommodating and responded very quickly. The space was well equipped. There was even salt, pepper, olive oil and enough toilet paper. The bed was very comfortable. I was pleased about the flowers on the terrace. They needed some water. In 5 minutes you were on the beach, the location is quiet, perfect for the dogs.

A jewel near the sea! We were really happy with Brigitte’s place. It has Seaview, super nice little garden with Seaview as well and very well equipped with everything you need as a family of four ! The beds were comfy and the washing machine and dishwasher was a plus ! Valerie helped us to do the check-in and check out and was also very kind and helpful . We would love to come back if Brigitte would have us !

Hello Jean-Christophe, there were four of us from 4/14 to 4/24/25 in the beautiful Chalet sur Mer. We give 5 stars for the property and service. We are really completely satisfied. The chalet was very clean, it is appealing and friendly furnished and designed, everything you need is there. The beds are very good. The communication with Melanie was excellent, she responded to questions immediately, was polite and helped immediately. The square of the chalet on the complex is very quiet, the space around the chalet is sufficiently large. The proximity to the sea as described, great. Spacious, very bright, peaceful accommodation. Super well equipped for a family with children and baby. A very pleasant exterior. House close to the sea and amenities. Excellent stay with beautiful weather. Juliette is very responsive when a request is made. Recommended.

Excellent stay at Yann's, I had rented this accommodation mainly for the location in the immediate vicinity of the beach and ....the view of course!! Unforgettable, breathtaking, I was not disappointed! And neither my young son:-) The sea in all the rooms of the apartment! The breakfasts on the veranda with the sound of the waves were very nice, as well as the beautiful sunsets on the balcony! We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather, the apartment was very well equipped, as described, and Rebecca, the nice concierge, was very accommodating on the arrival and departure times. Yann also, very responsive to messages, we were even able to extend an extra night, wanting to make the most of this peaceful vacation. Would definitely stay there again!

Everything was GREAT, we'll be back . The house is functional. The pool, sauna, foosball, ping pong and swing delighted young and old. The rooms are nice with good bedding. the house is clean, well equipped and tidy. bikes are available (with a pump just in case). Also, the weather was with us to enjoy Cabourg , Dives and Houlgate.

Perfectly located accommodation, minutes from the beach on foot. The sea view is lovely. The accommodation is clean, well arranged and with all the necessities (there is even a booster seat and a step-stool for children!). Thanks to Audrey for her smile and hosting us. We had a lovely stay!

Very nice environment, pool and hot tub at a good temperature. The place is as described and the flowers and candy for our arrival are a nice plus. The only downside, if I may, would be a parasol for the garden furniture. Thanks to Monika, I would highly recommend this place and will gladly return

Spacious clean house and beautiful rustic-chic interior. Garden, small heated outdoor pool and pool table perfect to keep the Kids of screens. Perfect location in short walking distance to the beach and towns.

nice and clean house. beds slept fine. wifi was good. house fully furnished. contact with host was nice and close ( walking distance less than 10 minutes) the beach . Swimming pool also well and nicely located. in short, we ( 4 people) had a great time and would love to come back. regards, Mieke

What a wonderful place this is!! Super nice very complete apartment with beautiful views everywhere; the sea and the green valley.., everything is cozy and tastefully decorated, the beds made are also very nice. The house is large with several apartments but you won't hear about that. Jordan and Jerome are very nice and attentive, thank you for a wonderful stay, we'd love to come back!! Love, Eef and Ria

Peaceful place in the middle of fields near the sea. Charming house where everything worked as expected.

The accommodation is true to the photos and description. Clean accommodation. The instructions provided by hosts are clear. Communication is seamless. The place is quiet and near the sea. Only small downside: The pipe odors in the shower room are a little persistent.

2nd stay for us at this lovely beach house: we had a lovely stay with the family. Sandrine is very responsive. The house is very clean, functional with an amazing view to the sea. We will definitely come back!

This house, both bright and beautifully decorated, offered us a pleasant stay with family. We were able to have our meals on the terrace as the weather was so nice with a sea view, and enjoyed the warmth of the wood stove in the evening. (Consider buying wood from the store next door or picking it up on the beach) Very good stay. Everything is designed to make you feel good.

Good value house in the middle of Lion sur Mer. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are super comfortable. There could be a bit more chilling space, the seating area is a bit limited. For us it wasn't a problem as we were lucky with the very un-Normand weather - but if it had been raining a lot and we had had to spend more time inside, it could have been a bit harder, especially for the kids. The whole house overall is a bit on the small-ish side - but then again, everything you need is there. The heating works very well, a bit too well at times - as the house can feel quite cold, it blasts hot air, which is great for not feeling cold, but can feel a bit suffocating. I'm nit picking, clearly, but we had a great time in the house, and would definitely come back for another stay.
