Vacation rentals with a patio in Obwalden

I love this place. It's about 15 minutes walk from the train station, the view as you walk to the place is amazing. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. The studio itself exceeded my expectations. Kurt went above and beyond providing juice, milk, yoghurt, fruits, chocolates, bread, butter, etc. When he offered to get a few things for me from the supermarket before I arrived, I did not expect this at all. If I have the chance, I will stay here again. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

Gina’s apartment is very cute and well appointed. It’s on the third floor and has a nice view of the hills. I experienced some confusion at first as the pictures she’d sent of the entrance weren’t loading. The website photos showed her neighbors chalet and I mistakenly thought that was the space we were staying in. Once we were oriented we were greeted by her lovely cat Lucy in the living room 🫶🏽 Always nice to see fellow pet lovers. The apartment is immaculate, had toys for my 5yo to play with and beautiful walks where you could see the mountains clearly. Gina was helpful, proactive and kind to us. We experienced some drain issues. As soon as I told Gina she promptly was able to correct it. Would 100% recommend her apartment if you like to be outside of the city. Peaceful.

Our stay at Christin’s apartment was absolutely wonderful. The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and felt like home — but with a view straight out of a dream! Christin was incredibly kind, responsive, and made everything easy for us. Truly one of our best Airbnb experiences. Highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment with the host and family live up stairs. The kitchen was very well equipped for everything you needed to cook a meal. Particularly grateful for the range of spices that Petra provided. Everything is spotlessly clean and the apartment is roomy.

We are a couple who stayed in the apartment for a week and from which we went on star trips. The apartment is excellent for a couple, comfortable, cozy, clean and shiny. We cooked in the apartment during the week, the kitchen is fully equipped and tidy. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer. The town is beautiful, cozy, quiet and very comfortable. 2 great writers are not far away. That's where we stocked up on all the groceries for the week. It is important to note that the independent check-in was quick, and quick and the host was pleasant and asked for our wellbeing during the week. It's clear that she wanted us to feel comfortable. Thank you so much it was wonderful.

Bettina’s apartment was immaculate, and was very new and modern inside a beautiful older building. She gave us excellent instructions with very helpful pictures, so we had no problem parking and finding our way. The place is located in a beautiful town, and was only a short 20 minute drive into Lucerne and only about an hour from Grindelwald. So we had plenty to do. My fiancé and I had a great time and we would love to spend more time in Switzerland. So hopefully we’ll stay again.

This is first time I waited to give review. The place is very near to Brienz station and the location is picture perfect. It was very clean, kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the welcome treats were very thoughtful, kids had lot of toys that they didn’t want to go outside, beds, towels, bathrooms everything was very clean. Downside is we all ended up staying home for 2 days and not going anywhere as per our plan. Our family had amazing time in the house. I would definitely recommend it. Very nice place and host. Thank you Jacqueline for everything. I loved your family pictures in house, the similes in pictures, the antique pieces that you saved. It really felt like home.

Emmanuel's house is large, suitable for our family of 6. It is located in a peaceful village and we really enjoyed its setting and were lucky enough to have snow for Christmas.

the hosts where wonderful. very helpful and welcoming. the apartment was super clean. nice and good equipped kitchen, warm sleeping rooms. the surrounding is peaceful and quite. a lot of good nature and beautiful houses. classic switzerland nature.

We loved our stay here. Perfect for our family. The location for us was ideal. Picturesque, all that we imagined Switzerland to be. The views every morning every evening are amazing. I am sure it is amazing during winter time as well. For us it was perfect and truth be told well beyond our expectation. Waterfalls mountain views, evening cow bells..what more could we want...and connectivity with trains and buses right out the front door 😍😍 we plan to come back with our second daughter. We experienced sunshine, and rainy weather, both had their own vibe in this chalet. Please know that it is away from busy hustle bustle, but if you crave that Brienze is like 7 miles drive (or you could take the bus) and any location is a train journey away! Spectacular and absolutely amazing hosts, In Spite of having researched our visit I believe I had a lot of questions 😜😜 our host was very quick with responses that were full of insights. Loved our stay.

This is a nice house just outside of downtown Engelberg. There is parking for 1 car in the small driveway, or two if you have a smaller vehicle that fits in the garage. You can walk a fairly short distance into town, but be ready for the long hill climb in the way home. The house had everything that we needed for a long weekend stay. The beds are comfortable. It’s a great value. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful 5 days at this beautiful cabin. The name is perfect. Heimeli. Very cozy, we felt right at home. The valley is spectacular. The ski area close. U. Is great for hiking and exploring in the summer. Matthes is a great host, very friendly and helpful. We‘ll be back!

Very nice,friendly ,uncomplicated hostess. The beautiful old cottage is a dream with garden and lake view! The beach, a large playground,train station are nearby and within walking distance. It is very homely & clean. It has everything on site, including barbecue,wood, sups, is also equipped for children. We loved it and will definitely leave again!

Beautiful chalet almost directly on the slopes on the Frutt. Very spacious with enough space for winter equipment, fully equipped kitchen and even lots of toys for children. Highly recommended for families!

A cozy and clean apartment in a truly beautiful location. The view alone is priceless! The apartment is easy to find using the coordinates Michael gave in advance. A car is a requirement to get to the location. On the way, the views are spectacular! You can park right outside the door. The apartment is fully equipped. Great kitchen, simple but functional bathroom. Very comfortable mattress on the bed. There is a large TV with Netflix to be able to recover from all the natural beauty. Contact with Michael is very accessible and questions are answered very quickly. We would definitely recommend this apartment!

The apartment was exactly as described with everything we needed. Only an hour and half drive from Zürich airport made it a great base for visiting key areas. Roshan was extremely prompt in responding to an issue we had and was really helpful. Will definitely visit again.

It was a little expensive, but I think it's a good alternative due to the nature of the chalet, which requires a long stay. The Eiger North Wall from the kitchen was really cool, and it was really great to be close to Grindelwald Station and Coop. And the washing machine was also free (detergent needs to be brought separately), so it was useful-!

We had an amazing time. Mirjam was always responsive and helped us with our questions. The stay is located in a wonderful place surrounded by mountains.

Erna and Chris was great host . They greeted us personally on our arrival . They made us so comfortable and felt home . We only stayed for a day and was a rainy day . Otherwise we could have enjoyed siting their backyard and relaxed in their swing .

The whole atmosphere invites you to relax: Jacuzzi, panoramic sauna, beautiful terrace overlooking the lake and mountains. It was absolutely quiet, private and peaceful. The hosts live in the upper part of the house and are incredibly friendly, attentive and respectful. I felt comfortable and welcome at all times. I highly recommend this place – a true highlight for those who appreciate beauty, tranquility and comfort.

We stayed at Roger’s place for a few days on our way to Austria, driving there from Zurich Airport. His apartment was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever rented—new, modern, and spotless, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Roger was always just a text away and responded within minutes to any questions we had. The apartment’s location is excellent, offering stunning views, and the interior looks even better than it does in the pictures on Airbnb. If I’m ever in the Zurich or Lucerne area again, I would definitely stay here. Thank you, Roger!
