Family-friendly vacation rentals in North Africa

High End Luxury Suite was simply amazing!! Our host Nektarios was also so amazing, he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and provided everything we needed! The welcome drinks and desserts were such a nice added addition :). The suite and the view was nothing short of amazing and, by far, deserves 10 stars! Would recommend this place 100%! Laura and Bob

It was a great place to stay! Full kitchen, 2 beds with their own bathrooms and a half bath for guests. Plenty of space inside and out. Plus he has a sound system with both indoor and outdoor speakers. This is one villa he uses as an AirBnB out of three on that street, each one has its own electric gate along with a main gate to gain access to all three. The area is private and relatively quiet and clean. This was my second time back to Mykonos and my third time in Greece. I would 100% stay here again or in one of the other villas he owns.

The view is stunning both day and night. The apartment is clean and they refresh it each day. The hosts are responsive and proactive with a long list of local recommendations. They have clear communication and are very friendly. We do recommend renting a car or ATV, the hill is steep and it’s a lot easier to explore the island this way. The hot tub was great, we used it everyday and it definitely enhances the experience. This is a great place to stay, highly recommend.

Wow! I don’t even know where to start. The stay at Villa Amira was nothing short of incredible. It’s a beautiful house with a stunning Nile view and a courtyard with a private pool that is perfect for cooling off in the heat. We booked our driver, guide, and chef through Amira and it was by far our best experience in Egypt. Our guide, Z, was incredibly knowledgeable in Egyptology and was able to answer every question we had! We asked him to take us to his little coffee shop after a day of exploring Luxor (Elio Workshop & Cafe, go support the locals ☺️)! We had a private chef, Abdul, make such delicious meals every afternoon and evening and each one was better than the last! Lastly, Sonbol was a great host at the villa and helped us with everything we needed! I cannot say enough good things about this stay! It was the highlight of our trip!

We truly loved our stay at this Airbnb in Fira, Santorini. We had six people comfortably sleep here. The pool and hot tub were amazing amenities on the beautiful multilevel outdoor space overlooking the Caldera. Centrally located on the island in the heart of the busy shopping/restaurant area however surprisingly not loud. One bedroom is open on a loft space so a bit less private for the couple who stayed in that room but still comfortable. We hiked to Oia on our first night, got there just in time for sunset! took us about 2:45hrs with stopping for photos and meandering the busy streets. We also rented ATVs to explore the rest of the island including Pyrgos and the beaches on the other side of the island. Aristotle was very responsive and helpful with booking us transfers for our group from Ferry and to airport. Highly recommend this Airbnb for your group stay in Santorini!!

What a find. This area is less touristy but has all you need. Amazing restaurants, view points, car and buggy rentals. The house it self is as described. Perfect! We cooked dinner and ate on the terrace during sunsets, no bugs. Many friendly people around. All you need for coffee is provided. Cooking utensils and pans were good enough. Found I needed an extra bowl but as luck would have it there was a local market that was selling beautiful bowls. Also there is Maria market that had all the necessities. Be ware of things that don’t have a price. Over all we had an amazing stay and our host was very prompt, kind and responsive!

Communication between the manager and us was impeccable happy to order taxis and direct us to the shops, we were un fortunate to have gale force winds during our last two days but Rania ensured we were safe and happy. The approach to the villa is a little scary at first but once you get used to the steep decent your good to go, I would advise two smaller cars as apposed to a large people carrier which we had as turning can be tight for the larger cars,

This was a gorgeous listing and I really got the full experience with it being my first time in Santorini. The check in process was easier than expected. They arrange a driver for you from the airport if you’d like for an extra cost and a porter to carry your luggage down to your location. The listing is right under the famous blue domes that everyone wants pictures with. You do have to cut through that long line at times to get to your place but if you mention you are just trying to get through and not take any pictures people understand. I was only here for a few nights but I enjoyed every second of this listing. Having the outdoor hot tub was amazing and I would get in the morning/night when it was a little colder. Everyone was very friendly and breakfast was delicious every morning. With the view and the welcome that I received, I would definitely recommend this listing!

I would go back there with my eyes closed, one of the Dammusi on the island with the best view; the kitchen, the rooms, the furnishings really have everything you need. The host Maria is really helpful and ready. As soon as the orange water light came on, Maria called the tanker that came to fill up in 48 hours; the beds are comfortable and there is even an extra mattress for additional guests. We were very satisfied, we don't think we can find better on the island.

We had a great time! I would happily recommend Klaus & Eva’s place to anyone. It was clean, close to a fantastic restaurant (Felix’s) and the view was spectacular! Klaus & Eva also left us a very nice welcome package consisting of wine, beer, cheese, ham and bread which we greatly appreciated, especially after a long day of travel! Many thanks to my hosts.

We can only reiterate all the other effusive comments about Yann’s place - The ‘Pavilon’ is the very best in tranquil luxury. Set on the other side of the pool in front of Yann and Bernard classically proportioned villa, the accommodation is beautifully furnished and decorated with comfort very much to the fore. Positionally, the Pavilon benefits from the cooling breeze from the sea and it’s only a 10 min walk, besides Marshan Park, into the historic kasbah. Yann is an excellent host and the breakfast provided each morning by his staff was delicious. We shall defintely return.

Your wonderful hosts offer you an opportunity to enjoy and participate in a truly Sicilian experience with a cosy authentic farmhouse as your accommodation, wonderful mountainous vistas and fabulous Sicilian country cuisine. Do you feel like a sea change to unwind from the bustle of coastal towns? Truly, SMO is the place.”

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very cozy and peaceful. Catching the sunset from the private balcony and the views of the Old Town from the rooftop terrace can’t be beat. Peggy was a great host and very communicative before and during our stay. Highly recommend staying here.

Jesus’s place was probably the most beautiful place I’ve stayed in. The indoor and outdoor spaces were not just functional but comfortable and beautifully decorated! The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, the kitchen had everything. The outdoor space was in lovely zones, one for visiting, one for dining and one for lounging, all surrounded by beautiful pots and flowers.. The pool area is lovely His home is an experience, not just a place to stay.. I wish we could have had week or more, not just a few days! I highly recommend this property!!

Amazing stay in Benalauria with a breathtaking view!

I've been using AirBnB for more than a decade, about once per month. This property is the best I have ever stayed in (now for the second time!) This property is not only gorgeous, and luxurious, it is also the best equipped AirBnB I have ever experienced! You could arrive here and live FOR A YEAR and not need anything! If you take the time to search through all of the drawers and cupboards you will find it has everything you need, and more! This property is absolutely perfect! if you're looking for a place in the center of the action, then don't come here!!! If you're looking for a place to relax, where you can go grocery shopping on your way to the home and then never have to leave this haven of tranquility... this is the place! I cannot describe just how perfect this home is, if you're trying to "get away from it all"... you will love it here!

We loved staying in Chantal’s riad! The space is truly beautiful and every room is so unique. Super fun staying in the Medina and being able to explore the surroundings areas - very central location. Booking transportation from the airport to the bnb was super helpful as well since it can be a bit difficult navigating through the Medina for the first time. Also highly recommended trying out the breakfast there - super fresh and it was the perfect start to our morning!! Highly recommend this riad for anyone visiting Marrakech :-)

Hari is a great host with excellent communication skills. The house is impeccable, functional and beautiful. The house has a great view from the rooms from the pool unfortunately the view is partially block by another building. Overall, an excellent place to stay with a big group.

This place was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay at Pablo and Cristina’s Riad! Once you get the hang of the location it’s very easy to navigate and we felt safe throughout the whole stay. Aida and the staff were wonderful and assisted us with every question/concern we had. Would highly recommend and we would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful villa! It is privately located, very clean, and the view is spectacular. The pool is cleaned everyday and fresh towels are provided.- Katerina and Markos were very helpful and responsive throughout the stay. Katerina met us when we got there, showed us around the place, shared recommendations for local sites, and answered all our questions. They also helped us book a rental car (highly recommended getting one) and gave us a discount code for it. Would definitely stay again!

The accommodation has a beautiful view, the surroundings are quiet - perfect for relaxing! The hosts were always friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and intact. I can only recommend it! Thanks for the great days :)

The apartment is in a wonderful location with beautiful views, as the photos show, and that is what makes the place truly special. It is comfortable and spacious, and we used all of the areas - living room for games, kitchen for cooking, deck for dinner, and terrace for swimming and relaxing. Having the apartment connected to a hotel with reception was helpful and the staff provided timely information and were very friendly. My only advice is to understand the streets and the parking if you are driving. You are truly in the old part of the city so don’t rent a car that is too big. The hosts were very helpful with this.

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything was absolutely perfect! The villa is well equipped with everything you need for a week-long stay (or longer), and situated very close to shops in Lavrio for groceries. Waking up everyday to the beautiful sunrise over the sea with mountains in view was amazing. We were able to very comfortably fit our whole family here without any issues and there was still more space we could have used for additional people if needed. We definitely plan to come back here for more family vacations.

Wow! What a privilege it was to stay at one of the most historic estates in Ragusa. Antonio and Giovanni are honoring their family's legacy by preserving their family's beautiful villa, built in 1863. They have meticulously restored the quarters where guests stay. You feel like you are a guest of their ancestors in the royal apartment. The grounds are stunning but it is about the whole experience. This is an AirBnb for those who appreciate history. Antonio gave us a tour of the incredible baroque town of Ragusa, one of the prettiest in all of Sicily. What a host he is! My only regret is not staying longer. I will be back!
