We are happy to have spend two weeks in Cumbaya. We enjoyed the location and specially the garden and being able to have breakfast on the terrace in the company of humming-birds. The is a street right behind the house and many barking dogs in the neighbourhood and due to the design there is a lot of light in the bedroom, so we would recommend earplugs and sleep mask for better sleep.

Daily visits from donkey Margarita & black lab Carbone were added pleasures to our stay. Felipe was responsive to hot water issue. Took guests to church on property. Explained history of property, Quito and Ecuador in general. He was extremely kind and helpful. Picked up & transported us back to airport for reasonable fee. Modest but lovely home.

Todo acerca del lugar es ideal. Cerca al redondel jumandí y el parque lineal pero tranquilo, privado, y se escuchan los pájaros cantando en las mañanas. Se mantiene fresco de día aún en días calurosos. Tienen dos perros grandes adentro de una cerca para guardar el lugar y solo ladran hasta conocerte, siempre es bueno saber que están ahí vigilando. Andrea es una anfitriona muy atenta a cualquier necesidad y se siente en casa al momento de llegar. De verdad es un lugar perfecto para poder disfrutar tu tiempo en Tena.

A wonderful stay in an amazing location with beautiful view. When we arrived it was raining and overnight it was a bit cold, but in the morning the sun came out and we could enjoy the view fully. There is also room service for both dinner and breakfast, with good prices, and very friendly service. The path to get to our room was quite steep and narrow but the staff helped us with our luggage. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was not great. Overall we would definitely come back and stay in some of the other unique rooms too!

Temos mais de 7 anos usando o Airbnb em vários países e nunca estivemos num lugar tão bom , fácil de chegar, bem desenhado, bem equipado (sobretudo a cozinha) , com um jacuzzi que funcionou perfeitamente!, a recepção incrivel da Sra. Suzy e a comunicação efetiva e oportuna do Miguel.... TOTALMENTE RECOMENDADO! Antes de voltar ao Brasil vamos ficar um fim de semana completo!

Excelente por el precio, lugar muy cómodo y privado, fácil de llegar, cerca a todo hay transporte público a pocos metros. Quisiera quedarme más tiempo en el Tena y seguir conociendo en realidad una experiencia fantástica.

Un lugar muy acogedor y muy limpio, perfecto para ir de vacaciones. Regresaré pronto. El único detalle es queda en el tercer piso (sin ascensor), como andaba con mis padres les incomodó un poco eso, por lo demás estuvo muy bien.

Mi mamá y una de sus amigas se alojaron en el apartamento de Gardenia por dos noches y la pasaron muy bien. El apartamento es bonito, amplio, y completamente equipado. Está ubicado en una zona residencial relativamente tranquila de Tena. Gardenia siempre respondió rápidamente y se mostró muy dispuesta a acomodar todo lo que le pedimos. El apartamento no está lejos a pie de la zona más turística y comercial de Tena. Muy recomendable.

100% recomendado. Un lugar amplio, seguro y con todas las comodidades para pasar en familia o amigos. Definitivamente volvería. Lo único a tomar en cuenta es que si llevas perritos tienes que estar atento, ya que otros perros del vecindario entran por el cerramiento.

It has a great location within a short drive of the airport, giving easy access to Cumbaya and Quito. It is also easy to drive south to Cotopaxi, north to Mindo, without going through Quito. The house is large and lovely, with a good kitchen, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and has a washer and drier. You can walk to little stores nearby to get basic supplies. It is a perfect base of operations for a trip to Ecuador.

Excelente lugar para descanso! Naturaleza al máximo grandes jardines y árboles frutales para caminatas matutinas. La casa es muy acogedora y tienen todo lo necesario para una estadía de paz y descanso. Los dueños del lugar son muy amables, siempre están pendientes de las necesidades de los huéspedes!
