Sue and Jonathon were wonderful hosts. The accommodation was exactly as I expected and more. Such a magical place. So beautifully designed and decorated. They also helped last minute with extra pizza kits for the wood fire pizza oven (one of our favourite things to do now!). We saw an array of birds including a bower bird and enjoyed the walks around the national parks. Highly recommend.

Thank you, David and Trish, for having us stay at your beautiful house. It was such a peaceful and relaxing place, with a stunning view of Lake Somerset. The home is spacious, with plenty of room for children to play and enjoy themselves. My daughter especially loved seeing the alpaca wandering around the property – it made the stay even more special! We really enjoyed our time and would love to come back again.

This is one of the best air bnbs we have ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed, was lovingly decorated and the view is simply stunning - very peaceful, quiet, relaxing, exactly what we were looking for. Such a beautiful home and great location. Mark was very hospitable and friendly, made our stay super easy. The house had everything we needed and within close distance to shops etc. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a little getaway in Toowoomba.

“Silverton” is a circa 1917 renovated timber weatherboard home located on a working 400 acre cattle property in the township of Somerset Dam, QLD. The house is located on top of a hill, looks over about 100 acres of paddock and is nestled below, and surrounded by, picturesque tree’d mountains. The house with period furniture has all the conveniences of a modern home. I highly recommend staying at this home! Thank you for letting us stay at Silverton!
