it was an incredible place and I really enjoyed my stay

The appartment is located literally besides the main road. There's still some activity on the streets even late at night which is a good thing, if you come back home very late or if you wish to get out and grab yourself something to eat. The appartment was as described, the host Michelle was always available to provide assistance if need be. The quality of the Wi-Fi was okay considering I worked there and I could have my audio/video calls. The A/C was great, though I somewhat felt the "swing" function was limited as far as it's inclination level is concerned. In a town like Douala, a fully-funtional A/C is something crucial. The power generator did it's job as well. Regarding the TV, someone was (remotely) messing around with the channels when I was watching the FA cup finals lol. Personally, I'd like to have full control of what I watch everytime. Overall totally satisfied with the place and what it has to offer for that price... 💯 recommending it, 💯 going back !

Very satisfied with my stay and is a very comfortable option for short or long-term stays. Arsène does a great job managing the communication from abroad and a very nice Michelle takes care of anything onsite if you need it. The place is exactly the same as the photos shared and perhaps better. The listed amenities are all there. AC units work great. There is a generator for backup power. The guest pays for electricity and gas for the generator. There were a few small issues that had to be sorted and fixed upon arrival but these were done extremely quickly and without any problems. I really appreciate the good communication between Michelle and Arsène. The area is far from the main part of the city but everything essential is close by. Good supermarket just up the road, lots of restaurants to choose from, fresh fruit vendors close, plenty of bars to choose from if desired, etc. Would definitely recommend and you won’t regret it

M. Serge was an excellent host. I spent one month at the Residence La Marina and it was awesome. I highly recommend it to everyone who need a safe and clean place. Also, it is close to the gym and all the restaurants located in Bonamoussadi. I will be back for my next visit in Douala-Cameroon. Thanks M. Serge

When you love it, you say it! Our host from the moment of booking was kind and kind: everything already foreshadowed a most pleasant stay. Once luggage is laid, what a pleasure to see that some basic necessities were available. My sharp eye also noticed that notable improvements had been made (microwave, cleaning etc...), certainly motivated by reviews from previous users and the desire to improve. If you're looking for tranquility and autonomy, you've come to the right place. The residence is well served and easily accessible, you will feel safe there. A special mention for Tata Judith who made it so much easier for us, that she became almost essential. That's just what we needed, we'll definitely be back!
